Disclaimer: I do not own Sailor Moon.
(A.N Part of the Prophecy Series. I intended this to be Rui's thoughts after the downfall of the Silver Millennium, but I suppose it could also be Rini's thoughts after the Fall of Crystal Tokyo. Hope you like it.)
Fallen Kingdoms
By Silver Sailor Ganymede
Sanguine stains on
Silver stones
Death has run amok
War's sword slashed
The unsuspecting
Famine's heat encaptured
The unkowing
Pestilence devoured
The unseeing
The four horsemen have
Ridden through this place
As has she, the 'pure' one
The fallen one
Broken angel
Red-eyed child
Daughter of the sun
And moon and
Stars and darkness
Never seeing
Garnet eyes and
Bloodied vision
Hate only breeds hate
Nothing comes from warring
Except for death
She did not realise
That death would come a'calling
Not to this kingdom of
Supposed light and
Peace and purity
But nothing is pure
The moon was never silver
It was grey, tainted
Stained, unreal
Never the riches of silver
Only the illusion
The gold of fools
She was blinded by their gold
The tainted gold that would
Bring not profit but ruin
Ruin, ruin
Ruin all around
It is strange to her that
Her name is so close to
The fate that she caused
Perhaps she should have
Been a child of the sun
The fury ran too deep
The fire lay unseen
Hatred, neglect
Never love
It was not real
Only corruption thrived
And now she is as bad
As they once were
Hypocrisy is human
Nature after all
She cries for help
Her soul is bleeding
But no one hears
There is no one left
Silver and crystals become
Tarnished when
Those that made them
Are gone forever
And all that remains
Are the ruins of utopia
The reminder of the
Death of a once
Glorius empire
Now just another statistic
Another etching on a
Memorial
Another soon forgotton
Name in a tome
Full of the demise
Of the fallen kingdoms
