AN: Well. We all knew that it was coming, I just didn't really want to think about it. I know quite a lot of you will think it's ending too quickly and that I've skipped loads of time but there's only so much I can write as I do have an offline life. I'd love to thank each reviewer personally but there's been so many of you! My thank yous are at the end to the most important people.

Disclaimer: Nope. I don't own anything related to Harry Potter. Oh how I love fanfiction.

"Where. Is. My husband!" Hermione asked the healer in a strained voice as another contraction tore through her.

"He is on his way, Mrs Potter, just sit tight." The healer smiled sympathetically. Hermione's brow knotted as she thought bitterly,"Easy for you to say."

"Hermione!" Relief hit her like a tidal wave when she heard his voice. She opened her eyes to see him make his way over to the bed.

"Harry!" She gasped as the pain started again and grabbed for his hand, holding it tightly.

"Harry, I don't think I can do this…" Hermione breathed in shakily. She looked on the verge of tears and Harry felt helpless.

"Shh, yes you can. Hermione, you can do this." Harry soothed her, smoothing her damp hair away from her face. She collapsed back onto her pillow as the pain subsided. Her face glistened with sweat and she looked exhausted.

"Never, Harry. You will never put me through this again. I swear you-" She cried out in pain and crushed his hand.

"Hermione, you're ready to push now." The healer prompted her. Hermione took a few deep breaths and did as the healer said. After minutes of determined attempts, Hermione's yells of pain were joined by the crying of a baby.

"It's a boy!" The healer announced as Hermione fell back again breathing heavily, her eyes had fallen shut and she gave a fatigued laugh of delight.

"A boy? Hermione, it's a boy!" Harry could not stop the tears springing to his eyes, he did not care anyway. Hermione had begun to cry. The healers had cleaned the tiny baby and had wrapped him in blankets. "Say hello to Little Potter Junior."

"Can I hold him?" Hermione sniffed and blinked several times to clear her vision. The healer passed the baby to Hermione who took him carefully in her arms, as if he were made of glass. Harry leaned in over Hermione and his son.

"Oh, Harry, he's beautiful…" Hermione whispered and forced herself to take her eyes from the baby to meet Harry's.

"He's just like his mother." Harry tenderly kissed her on the forehead and stroked his son's cheek gently with his finger.

"Mrs Potter?" The healer approached slowly, not wanting to disturb the moment. Hermione tried to answer but no sound came, she simply looked up.

"Might I suggest giving the baby to your husband? The contractions should be starting again any minute now."

"I'm sorry, what?" Hermione managed to choke out.

The healer looked confused. "The contractions. They'll be starting again-"

"What do you mean again?"

"It's twins, Mrs Potter. I assumed you knew…" The healer's brow knotted, clearly she had not expected this; which was more than could be said for Harry and Hermione who sat stunned.

"No! Twins? We had no idea! How did…I can't…" Hermione was beginning to panic. Harry was in shock but reached for the baby as Hermione motioned for Harry to take him. He cradled the tiny boy in his arms as Hermione looked at him in panic. Within minutes, the contractions had started again and when they had finished, Hermione was holding another bundle of blankets, crying her eyes out.

"I love you." He told her when they had finally been moved to a room.

"I love you too," she gave him tearful smile. "You have to go and tell Ron the good news. That he's an uncle twice over." Harry nodded and placed his baby girl in the cot at the foot of Hermione's hospital bed as slowly and as carefully as he possibly could. He looked back at Hermione and his son for another prolonged moment and left to find Ron who was waiting at the reception.

"Harry!" Ron jumped up from his seat as soon as he caught glimpse of Harry. "So what is it? It's a boy. I'm sure it's a boy!"

A grin spread across Harry's face. "Twins, Ron. A boy and a girl!"

"Congratulations, mate!" Ron launched forward and gave his best friend a hug. It was only then that Harry realised Ron was not sitting alone. Sitting beside Molly was Rebecca. She smiled sheepishly at him and when Ron had let go of him, Harry went to her and kneeled before her.

"Rebecca, would you like to come with your uncle Ron to see your little brother and sister?" He asked her quietly. Her face lit up," I have a little brother and a sister?" Harry nodded and smiled at her reaction. Rebecca nodded her head and stood up swiftly.

"Come on," Harry offered her his hand and she took it.

Ron walked over to hug Hermione as best as he could with the baby in her arms, she looked like she had not slept in a week but she could not keep the smile from her face.

"Hello little man…" Ron felt his eyes tear up. He wiped them hastily and sniffed, showing emotion was not exactly Ron's thing. Rebecca sat down quietly in a chair attracting no attention to herself.

"Rebecca, this is your little sister." She had not noticed her father go to the cot and gather the squirming baby in his arms. "Would you like to hold her?" All she could do was nod. Harry showed her how to hold the baby and she took the little girl from him carefully.

"Have you thought of any names?" Ron asked, interrupting the silence.

"None as of yet."

"I like the name Emily…" Rebecca spoke quietly as she gazed down at the baby. Her baby sister.

"Emily…" Hermione played it over in her mind talking more to herself that anyone in particular. "Emily Potter. That's a lovely name."

"Emily." A smile spread across Harry's face," thank you, Rebecca." She looked between her father and Hermione in amazement. They were going with the name she had picked and this surprised her.

"We still need a name for little Harry junior here," Hermione teased. "I quite like the name Andrew…"

"Andrew and Emily Potter," Harry's heart leapt as he said the names. It was in that room in St Mungo's that the pieces of Harry Potter's family finally joined in harmony. Rebecca had taken to the twins like he would never have imagined. Hermione was as blissfully happy as he was and Ron - well, his stomach was groaning but that was something that was probably never going to change…
