Oishi passed by the boys' restroom on his way to his locker coming back from lunch period. Normally, that wouldn't have been any sort of eventful thing, but today Inui was standing in front of the door, notebook in hand, scribbling notes with a pen.

Oishi's steps halted and he cocked his head to one side. "Hey, Inui?" Inui's most 'normal' behavior erred on the side of 'strange' to most people, but this was a bit curious.

Inui didn't look up from his notebook. He jotted a few more things down, and that's when Oishi heard a strange noise coming from the restroom. He blinked.

"Hmm?" Inui muttered back, still not looking up from his notes.

"Ah... is everything... okay?"

"Of course."

That time he was sure he heard an audible gagging noise coming from the bathroom. "... Who is that? Is someone sick?" he asked, not sure he wanted to know quite what was going on, but it sounded like someone was quite ill, and if they were that sick, they needed to go to the infirmary.

"I had Kaidoh test out my new Jiru." Inui tapped the end of his pen against his chin. Kaidoh had been in the restroom for 14 minutes and 28 seconds. At least the gagging was quieting down, now.

Oishi blanched. "Aa... Inui? I've been meaning to ask you..."

Inui turned and pushed his glasses up a bit on his nose. "Hm?"

"... Is that ... juice you make really any good for people's health? I've been wondering ..." How could anything that completely revolting be any good for them?

Inui's lips moved in a barely perceivable smirk.

"No."

Inui turned back to the bathroom door as Oishi stood, blinking. "Then why do you make him drink it?" At least the noises from the bathroom had quieted.

Inui closed the notebook, and smiled at Oishi with what might otherwise have been a perfectly innocent smile coming from anyone but him.

"To work on his gag reflex."

Oishi spent the rest of the afternoon in the infirmary with a nosebleed.
