Seashells

Yaya gazed at her cute little Hikari, and her heart began to flutter.

She looked absolutely perfect in her bright yellow dress, the skirt settling softly at her knees. Her hair was fluffed from running back to the dorm, a smile stretched so wide across her face, she was afraid it would fall off.

Yaya stared at the seashell she was holding out to her, a wealth of emotion welling up inside her. She'd promised to protect her friend, and she'd promised to keep her happy, despite her own feelings. Every hint she'd made at a romance had been brushed aside as carefully as possible, so she'd backed off, letting her lean towards Amane, even start a relationship with her. It had hurt her, just a little, like something clamping down on her heart, but that was it. She would let her little Hikari go, if it would make her happy.

The tiny pink seashell was sparkling in her eyes, and suddenly, Yaya could no longer control herself.

It was a simple movement. She leaned forward, pulling Hikari forward, and their lips touched.

Yaya's body tingled, and she was almost afraid she was kissing back.

We all hope she is. I don't like anime Amane. I want Yaya/Hikari. I demand it!
