Fate
By CharliesHoodie
She closed her eyes
Trying
to abandon the fear
Too
afraid to lose
The one
thing she held dear
As it
would turn out
He
would leave
“Please,
don’t go…”
She
tried to beseech
Lost in
her faith
An
outcast of love
She
boarded a plane
To a
place she knew not of
Fear
returned
It had
never left
On this
place she thought
She
would find her own death
A
product of hate
A child
of love
Believer
in fate
He was
sent from above
She
tried to forget
The
pain men had caused
To her
fragile heart
She was
broken…but she loved
He
cared for her truly
His
deeds never questioned
She
began to wonder
If this
was really what she had been missing
Love
had trampled her to the dirt
Like a
rose too fragile to stand
But now
she was replenished
By just
one young man
He
looked past her flaws
He
looked past her mistakes
She saw
in his eyes
He,
too, was a believer in fate
