Size Doesn’t Matter – Chapter 5
Ginny stared in awe at what she saw. A large majestic white fountain marked the entrance to the Zabini Manor, delicate spouts of water shooting from the 5 tips of a shooting star.
The girl’s eyes traveled from the beautiful marker to the house itself.
The manor was fairly large made mostly of white stone, or like the stairs marble. A large lantern patterned with ancient symbols and designs hung in the middle of the porch area where the visitor was greeted by a large glass door, trimmed with gold.
The windows stood dark and lifeless as Ginny continued to gawk at the house.
Blaise smirked. “Like what you see, Weaselette?” He didn’t wait to hear Ginny’s reply however before rushing off after a grinning Draco.
Ginny smiled, shaking her head. The red-head then proceeded to haul the heavy bags inside. She stopped at the door however to find herself once again staring into the house.
A floor of glistening marble looked back up at her and a grand staircase painted in gold stood in the center, winding its way up to the 2nd floor like a snake.
Ginny sighed looking down at the two heavy trunks, debating whether to pick them up or leave them for Blaise. She blinked however seeing large turquoise eyes staring up at her. Large flesh colored ears protruded from the small creatures head and a pillowcase was wrapped around its small form.
“Please let Tammy takes those, Miss. Tammy no want the Miss to strain herself, or else Tammy be in big trouble.” And with a snap of the house-elves fingers she and the bags were gone.
The youngest Weasley stared in awe. That is until a grinning Draco streaked out of the kitchen covered in whip cream. The small child shrieked with laughter as he zoomed fast, a yelling Blaise hot on his trail.
“GET BACK HERE! I’LL TELL YOUR MOTHER! I’LL BREAK YOUR BROOM! I’LL – DAMNIT DRACO!”
The small blonde seemed to have run into what seemed to be a very expensive looking vase. The vase tumbled on its stand, wobbling dangerously, before falling.
Blaise gasped, sliding on his knees to a halt. His hands reached out with unmatchable speed, catching the falling antique.
Ginny stood dumbstruck. “Whoa.” She uttered in astonishment.
Blaise wiped at his sweating brow, placing the vase carefully on the table. “I’ll-kill- him, I’ll-fucking-tear him-apart-.” Blaise said through heaving breaths.
The Slytherin peered at the look of shock on Ginny’s face. “When he’s grown, I mean.” He added hastily. And after flashing her a quick smirk and ran off again, following the fading echoes of laughter.
Ginny sighed, tucking a few strands of fiery red locks behind her ear.
”ACK! WEASELETTE!”
Yes, this was going to be a long stay at Zabini Manor…
(A/N: Ack…the suckiness. I’m so sorry. I’ll try to post soon. Review please until then. - Iamme)
