Chapter 1: Hayasugiru!

Satsuki samurai swordsmistress: heya mina-san! Minna doudesuka? And for those of ye who didn't understand that, it meant how 'is everyone'? But me hopes to the mother goddesses and samurai lords above that ye understood that! It's the most basic-

Ohjiro: Satsuki?

Satsuki: hai, Ohjiro-san?

Ohjiro: get on with the disclaimer!

Satsuki: ha-hai! Ohjiro-san! Mochiron!

Tamayo: since she's (jabs thumb at Satsuki) not going to say it, I will! Satsuki doesn't own Angelic Layer, CLAMP does! (glares around to challenge anyone who is willing to object)

Misaki: Naaa? Then, Tamayo-chan, if CLAMP owns us, who owns CLAMP?

Satsuki: makes ye wonder don't it…?

Tamayo: doesn't everbody just want to own us or what!

Satsuki: (shakes head at Tamayo and mutters) jesu cristo! (returns to normal voice) and before me forgets…(yes, me knows that the way me talks sounds strange!) this is me very first time writing a fanfic and posting it on the net! YAY for me! Anyways, on with the story!

Had it really been six months? Six months since she had won the Angelic Layer tournament? Six months since she had finally found and beaten her mother on the Layer? Suzuhara Misaki thought, when Icchan, in his trademark way popped out of what seemed like nowhere…

"Icchan is heeeeerreeee!"

"Naaa? Icchan-san! What are you doing here?" Asked Misaki, surprise evident on her small face.

Icchan laughed at how easily he could still surprise Misaki. She should have been used to my popping up out of nowhere by now, he mused as he studied the small face which looked quite the determined little thing.

After recovering from the initial shock of having someone pop out in front of her, Misaki, in her usual wondering voice asked, "How are things going with my mother?"

Now it was Icchan's turn to be surprised. Could Misaki have been spying on himself and Ohjiro as they were currently doing to both ladies (as both were far too shy to admit their feelings to the one they love)? Icchan wondered.

No, Misaki was too polite to do that to both guys, as was her mother, Shouko.

So Icchan did what any guy under those, rather nervous, circumstances would have done. He nervously laughed it off while asking, "What 'thing' with your mother?"

Misaki watched this with a rather bewildered look on her face. Luckily, at just that moment Ohjiro came around the corner whistling to himself and smiling, thus breaking the awkward silence that had ensued after the laughing.

Misaki, turning slightly to her left to see properly who had come around the corner, turned a rather interesting colour of red. 'Oh, for the love of kami-sama! Will I ever stop blushing when Ohjiro is around?' She thought, frustrated and in despair at the predicament fate had mysteriously put her in.

"I-I-I-I have to g-go home now, a-and make d-dinner for th-three." Misaki stammered, avoiding looking at Ohjiro. Ohjiro smiled slightly, knowing the exact reason for Misaki's stammering.

Misaki turned to go back up the street when Ohjiro caught her by the wrist, which abruptly turned her around to face Ohjiro. She wouldn't look up at him. Only stare at her shoe, wondering where Hikaru was. Then she remembered that she had left Hikaru in her mother's care that morning for 'more training' as Shuuko had put it.

"May I walk you home, Misaki?" Ohjiro asked.

"Naaa? Demo, O-Ohjiro-san, d-don't you have to be t-training at the Angelic Layer base tonight?" Misaki managed to strangle out of herself. Naze? She wondered, 'Naze, even after going out with Ohjiro-san for five months, do I still have to stammer around him!'

"Iie, at the present moment I'm not needed there, soudesho, nii-chan?" Ohjiro said, smiling at his older stepbrother over Misaki's head at the last words.

"Hmmm…hai, I s'pose so Ohjiro-kun," Icchan replied, rather reluctantly. Ohjiro smiled smugly. Icchan, noticing this almost immediately turned to glare at his younger half-brother.

Misaki, who was stuck in her own world of happiness and despair, didn't notice that a competition was slowly forming between the two males. But surely as the sun must rise, a competition was forming. A competition of who would get the dinner invite first. Icchan, who had only asked for a date with Shuuko seven times? Or Ohjiro, who had been going out with Misaki for five whole months?

Satsuki: this is as good a ending as any ne minna-san?

Tamayo: what sort of excuse is THAT?

Satsuki: (tiredly) what do ye mean by that Tamayo?

Tamayo: what I mean is…it's cheesy.

Satsuki:WHAT! Ye mean ye want me to go on?

Tamayo: Sousou! Datte where do Koutarou and I come in?(attacks with head lock)

Satsuki: (counterattacks head lock attack with pretzel lock) fine…(gasp)…me'll write on….but…ye and…Koutarou…don't…come in…till…later!

(Satsuki drops Tamayo from her merciless pretzel lock and walks away, leaving Tamayo to recover, and calmly keeps typing)

Three blocks away from Shuuko, Shouko, and Misaki's house, Ohjiro "accidentally" managed to snag Misaki's waist and scoot her closer to his own body to kiss her.

Point of View change

Misaki was just about to start running towards her house when she felt her wrist being grabbed and out of the blue she was suddenly turned around and found herself face to face with Ohjiro.

"I-I have to…must make…have got to…" Misaki stammered. Mou, she thought a bit annoyed. With her face just inches away from Ohjiro's, she couldn't exactly concentrate on what she was saying!

Before she could say 'ureshii!' Ohjiro had closed the mouth distance and was thoroughly kissing her.

At first, she was in absolute shock, so she didn't exactly respond, but after a while the message that her boyfriend, Ohjiro, was kissing her (and in the middle of the street where everyone who was anyone could see them to boot) somehow managed to get to her brain before she could even wrap her arms around his neck to start kissing him back.

Point of view-normal

Misaki became so engrossed in kissing him that she didn't notice that Tamayo and Koutaro had come sliding out of the shadows' of the walls to watch them with Tamayo leaning her head against Koutaro's shoulder as if it were the most normal thing in the world to do.

They watched for five minutes longer until Tamayo could no longer control herself "Oooo! Koutarou! Why can't you ever be like that?" while at the same time, putting him into a leg and neck lock.

"Naaa! K-k-koutarou-kun, T-tamayo-chan! Naze kokoni?" Misaki said in what seemed like a very stressed out tone of voice.

"oh. Well. Ummm…" Tamayo started forgetting why she and Koutarou were there in the first place and fumbling through the explanation. "uh…Koutarou and I thought we'd just go to the Eriol school library! Right Koutarou?"

"demo…"

"hai, Misakichi-chan? Nandesuka?" asked Tamayo

"ano…isn't Eriol school library the other way?" Misaki asked Tamayo who then swiveled her head around and back again.

"ah…etto…then, ummm…we were headed to your house!" said Tamayo brightening up at this sent-from-heaven-ready-made-excuse. "demo, seeing as you and Ohjiro-kun are already snuggling up to each other…I think that we'll just go home and watch telly!" she rushed on, finishing her sentence and with that, she made use of her words and rushed off in the opposite direction, dragging Koutarou behind her, who was still trying to recover from the earlier strangling he'd gotten from Tamayo.

Misaki just stood there looking extremely confused, and Ohjiro just sweat dropped.

"ano…ikimashouka, Misaki-chan?" Ohjiro said, a bright smile plastered on his face, as he brought her close to him again.

"ha-hai, Ohjiro-san! Ikimashou!" Misaki managed to stutter out as they continued walking to her Aunt Shouko's house, only just barely aware of how close they were together.

Several minutes later, they were standing outside the front door saying goodbye and goodnight when all of a sudden, out of the blue, his face got alarmingly close to hers, and her heart was suddenly going 200 miles per minute instead of the usual 90 miles per minute! Misaki knew he was going to kiss her. And a second later, his lips touched hers. At first, she was too shocked, as usual, to respond, even when she knew that he was going to kiss her, but then, she unconsciously kissed him back. The moment Ohjiro kissed her, her mind went blank. And she couldn't think of anything else but Ohjiro.

Her kareshi. Kissing her in front of her front door. Where everyone who was anyone might see them.

え, ch-chotto matte Misaki thought as the kiss deepened, this, all this is…hayasugiru!

Ohjiro felt the change in Misaki as she whispered, "gomen ne, Ohjiro-san, demo, all this is just hayasugiru for me…"

"ah… iie, it's my fault for going fast. Ja, oyasuminasai Misaki-san" said Ohjiro in his princely manner. He turned to leave but then, just as quickly, he turned back to Misaki, bent down and whispered in her ear. He then turned back around while Misaki was turning an interesting shade of beet red and said, "ja, mata ashita, Misaki-san" and with that, he went down the stairs and into the darkness.

Tamayo: sigh Satsuki is so hyped up it's not even funny at all-

Koutarou: and that's definitely saying something!

Tamayo: 0.0 narrows eyes at Koutarou are you, my own boyfriend, hinting that I'm hyper-active like that? jabs thumb to where Satsuki is now lying on the ground shaking with hyper-activeness, unable to control herself

Koutarou: glances at Satsuki and pales etto…smiles meekly I've changed my mind, so…maybe not…

Tamayo: flashes a sudden smile and starts choking Koutarou ooooo! Koutarou, you are the BEST boyfriend!

Koutarou: in choked voice changed…my…mind…blacks out

Satsuki is now doing a rather deranged version of 'Icchan is hereee!' and keeps bursting out with mirthless laughter every so often

Hatoko: suddenly walks in so sorry that you people reading this have to witness Satsuki being hyper-active. You see, it's now 3.15 in the morning and she has just finished reading autumnleaf16's as well as whitefirebird's works. On top of that she has finished reading appl3sauce's works, ryukansen's works…oh what the heck, telling you guys what works she's been reading would take a lot of time so I'll just give you the list!

Satsuki: suddenly shouts out ME FINISHED 'EM ALL! breaks into mirthless but rather random laughter once again

Hatoko: come on Satsuki, let's go…you two can come as well nods slightly to Tamayo and Koutarou
