With nothing but our Courage

Summary: Kinda AU. PostKH2. The Corner Stone of Light has been shattered, and the pieces are scattered through the different worlds. Now Sora and his friends have to find the pieces. But Xemnas and Xehanort haven't finished with the universe yet, and don't intend to make their mission easy… MASSIVE CROSSOVER.

Author's Note: Okay, this'll be a little different from the KH series plot line. First of all- Everyone from Organization XIII is alive. And so is Xehanort's heartless (Which will simply be referred to as Xehanort). I'll have a few OC's, which will be explained throughout the story. If anyone wants to know who Riot is, I have a few other one-shots posted with her in them.

Disclaimer: Oh, this'll be fun. I don't own Kingdom Hearts, Full Metal Alchemist, Fruits Basket, Pocahontas, Lord of the Rings, or anything else you recognize. I own Riot, Ralene, Ludor, Ais, Amaril, and several other OC's I choose to put in. I don't own the title, either, which comes from yet another "Dear America" book. I'm gonna get sued eventually…

Darkness is like a cockroach.

You can fight it, stomp on it, burn it, hate it, but it never really dies. It's a sad and hope-killing fact… but it's true. There will always be the smallest amount of darkness in each heart, so it will always endure. Unfortunately, darkness takes many forms. Sometimes, even the forms of normal people. "Normal" people that could tear your eyes out if you challenged them to. Bad people. Evil people.

Xemnas and Xehanort were examples of this. They were two halves of a whole- a Heartless and a Nobody, which had once been combined in a real person. A real person that had ensured the total destruction of many, innocent worlds and the people that lived on them. They were two examples of darkness in its purest form, or close to it.

They had harmed many innocent people separately. They had single-handedly ruined lives. Trampled dreams and the people who dreamed them. And they were never satisfied. They were thought to have been killed by the key-bearers. But everyone was wrong. That was only the beginning. While the five key-bearers- Sora, Riku, Roxas, Kairi and King Mickey- recuperated, so did Xemnas and Xehanort. And they didn't come back empty-handed.

They brought back the twelve other members of Organization XIII. The dangerous associates of Xemnas. But, unknowingly, they also brought back some of the people that some of the Organization members had once been. The people they were before their hearts and bodies were separated into different forms. And none of these people are quite normal.

The Originals have the power to control the Nobodies. But, luckily for the Originals, not many have been captured by the Organization. They linger in the other worlds, wandering in a daze, wondering where they are and how they got there. They don't know that dangerous people are after them. And until they learn to control their Nobodies, they are all but helpless.

And to top it off, the Corner Stone has been shattered. That which protects the Disney Castle has, mysteriously, been smashed, its pieces scattering throughout the many worlds in the Universe. The Organization is after them- should they steal all the pieces of the Corner Stone, Disney Castle will be totally defenseless. The pieces must be retrieved, or all the worlds will fall to darkness.

The worlds are blinking out.

Time is running short.

Short, crappy and melodramatic, I know, but I'm milking as many chapters out of this as humanly possible.
