The next few days Luke gradually returned to normal. Kayland kyp still watched over him though. He found it amusing and somewhat touching that they cared so much for him. He tried to avoid her a few times so she cornered him and forced him to deal with the situation. She wasn't one of the strongest Jedi here but she and kyp made the perfect couple.

She trained to be a Jedi, at last agreeing to it as a show of trust. She made Luke agree to be her teacher however despite there rocky starts. A friendship gradually formed and Luke forgave himself for his actions. While Kayla fought her own demons in the form of spice addiction at the same time. Kyp was her source of support and in turn she supported Luke.

It was no surprise when Kyp decided to marry her just five years after she joined the order. It also came as no surprise to the order at least when Luke and Mara finally tied the knot. Nor did Kayla expecting kids a year later, though kyp's involment in the yunzon vong war almost kept him from seeing them. Kayla stayed with Tione and Kam to help with the other children.

Kayla closed up the holobook a set it on the shelf behind her."I don't get it who was stronger then the emperor or Luke" said one kid she was reading to. "Luke was, because only the strong can forgive" said Kayla the chime buzzed and she shooed them off to their next class.

"I've always liked that story" said Kyp he leaned down to kiss her. Several younglings said eew behind his back and Kayla bit back a giggle. "So did I" said Kayla.
