Dobe meets Teme
xxxxxx
With a startled “EEP” Naruto jumped up and made his way out of the office, crashing through the door and into the open campus quad, looking over his shoulder as an angry blonde principle stomped out after him.
“NARUTOOOO!”
Quickening his pace he ran down an unmarked hallway leading into a small corridor, lined with blue worn-out lockers. Stopping for a moment to catch his breath he turned his eyes to a door that read “Room 13.” with the words, “Science: Dr Hatake.”, right under it and rushed in, smirking to himself.
“Ha! Baa-chan won’t ever find me here and best of all Kakashi-sensei isn’t here either. That lazy jerk is never on time.” Snickering, Naruto placed his hands behind his head and turned towards the front of the room, grunting as he hit something solid and fell back, landing heavily on his ass.
“Ow!…What the hell was..” Looking up, Naruto found himself staring into a pair of stunning coal black eyes.
Staring back at him had to be the most gorgeous boy on the planet. With ink black hair framing pale features the boy looked as if he had been carved from ivory. ‘He’s…so hot.’ Taking a long appreciative look down the boy’s body, Naruto saw that the other was stylishly dressed in khaki slacks and a tight blue shirt, which seem to hug every curve and lined every muscle of that lean body.
Bringing his eyes back to meet the others, Naruto paused.
‘Wow…’ Breath caught in his throat Naruto watched, frozen, as those dangerous obsidian eyes narrowed and glared down at him coolly.
“Watch where you’re going…Dobe.” A dark voice fell from pale lips, shaking Naruto from his thoughts.
Growling at the insult the blonde jumped up quickly and moved forward, face just inches from the other. “Don’t call me that you bastard!” Receiving only a glare for his comment, Naruto flushed darkly, hoping his skin color hid it well. Swallowing his nervousness he moved forward again, scowling at the other boy.
“Che, whatever…Dobe.” Feeling heat rising into his stomach he watched as the strange boy with dark eyes pushed past him and walked out of the classroom, leaving a seething Naruto behind. “Why you…” It was a pity someone so good looking was such a bastard.
“UGH! TEME!”
Hearing the yell the blonde woman stopped and turned back towards the Sceince classrooms, walking down the hallway quickly. Smiling to herself, Tsunade made her way over to the first door on the right.
Peering inside her eyes glinted evilly as she watched an angry Naruto bang around the classroom, muttering something or another to himself. ‘Now you’re going to get, Naruto.’
Yanking the door open, she calmly walked in and cracked her knuckles. “Time for pay back, brat!”
“EEP!”
“Tch…Room 18 with Mitarashi-sensei? Where have I heard that name before..?”
Shaking his head, Sasuke pocketed his schedule again and moved silently down the hall, eyes scanning each door.
Stopping minutes later he turned his body fully to an overly decorated door and stared at it with mild appreciation.
Littered over the whole span of the door was photo on top of photo in a slightly bizarre collage. Mostly pictures of snakes, a detail Sasuke found slightly disturbing, he noticed that they ranged from black and white to full color, some upside down and in any direction.
Stepping back, he looked at the door as a whole and noticed that the photos seemed to be arranged in a sort of optical illusion. As if every one was shifting slightly into the next.
With a shake of his head he closed his eyes and waited till the light dizziness wore off, turning instead to look out over the quad, eyes narrowing as the fell on a group of girls farther off to the right, pointing and staring at him. He hoped he never had the misfortune of coming face to face with any of them.
Turning back to the door he suppressed a shudder and took the handle, jerking it open and stepping calmly into the air condition room. ‘Ugh…Fan girls..’
A quick look around the room told him that he was not alone.
Taking in the aristocratic looks, dark brown hair and pale skin and eyes, of the other body and his regal position against the counter Sasuke guessed he probably wasn’t going to like him very much, but the other boy paid no attention to Sasuke. He seemed to be rather absorbed in the book he had resting delicately in his hand.
Catching a glimpse of the cover, Sasuke smirked to himself. ‘I, Lucifer, eh?...At least he has good taste.’
Ignoring the other boys presence now, Sasuke walked towards the back, passing the teachers desk while scanning the rest of the room, taking in the rows of seats, artful billboards decorated with, what seemed to him like, student artworks and counters piled up the all sorts of art supplies and materials.
He noted that the teacher must have some weird obsession with snakes as he passed several pictures and statues of them on his way.
Moving to the last row he slid gracefully into the second to last seat and dropped his pack down onto the ground next to him, placing his elbows on the desk and lacing his fingers together to rest his chin on his hands lightly.
Leaning forward, Sasuke let himself relax and closed his eyes.
This school seemed interesting to say the least...The Principle was kind, but he made a mental note never to anger her. The campus was clean and organized, ‘Thank god.’ He could tell though that he was going to have trouble with the girls here. He always did..
Scowling, Sasuke cursed mentally as his mind traitorously brought up am image of the boy that had bumped into him earlier.
Now that was someone he knew he wasn’t going to get along with. He had been dressed horridly in orange pants and a tight black t-shirt. His voice was annoying and grated quickly on Sasuke’s nerves. All in all, the boy just seemed too bright. His voice, clothes…Even his hair.
There was something about the blonde boy though.
Sasuke could appreciate beauty and it wasn’t hard to see that the boy was handsome. The boy was about an inch shorter than himself and unlike Sasukes lean and somewhat more slender build the other boy was slightly more muscular, with hard muscles that rippled beautifully under golden skin.
But the boy’s most striking feature had to be his eyes. They were so full of emotion. The aura surrounding the blonde boy was wild almost fierce, but his eyes shown with innocence, something Sasuke found suited the boy.
Opening his eyes again, Sasuke leaned down and retrieved his notebook from inside his pack along with a black pen. ‘It’s a pity that someone so good looking sounded so annoying.’
Shaking away his thoughts on the other boy, Sasuke noticed the room filling up quickly with other students and watched as each seat was taken one by one until the room was full.
Glancing to his right, Sasuke took interest in the boy that took the seat next to him.
The boy was slightly taller than Sasuke with spiked brown hair. Dressed in brown slacks and a high collared jacket, the boy gave off a mysterious aura…Or maybe it was just the sunglasses?
Shrugging it off, Sasuke looked to his left and saw that the other boy from before was also taking a seat next to him.
“Name’s Neji. Neji Hyuuga. And you are?” The boy turned pale eyes to Sasuke, looking calm.
Startled to have been caught looking, he answered. “Sasuke. Sasuke Uchiha.”
“It’s a pleasure to meet you. That’s Shino Aburame, by the way.” Neji motioned to Sasuke right and he turned, nodding to the other boy. Shino nodded back before bringing his attention back to the front of the class.
They both seemed nice enough. God how he hated to be wrong, but at least he wasn’t making any enemies.
Sasuke nodded to them both and listened as the chatter in the room died down, watching as the teacher, a smallish woman with purple/grayish hair, appeared from behind a door that read “Snake Pit.” and walked to the front of the room.
“Hello there, maggots! I’m your Photography teacher, Anko Mitarashi and for those who think that this class is where you get to slack off and play with cameras tough luck. With every picture you take I expect a full page summary on it so be wise.” Groans across the room could be heard.
Sasuke smirked and took a green sheet of paper from the pile handed to him, before passing the rest to Neji.
“Being sent back to you is a syllabus with all the rules for this class plus a list of projects we will be doing this year. Make sure you follow all my rules or I’ll feed you to my snakes. Got that?” Turning her back to the class she took a marker from a cup on her desk and moved towards the white board, writing something across it.
Moments later she moved away and the class held back a collective gasp, looking at the bold black words written in front of them in mild horror.
‘WELCOME TO HELL!’
Turning the corner, he walked down to the end of the hall and stopped eyes scanning for his first class. “Room 312…314..Aha! 316! Mr. Ebisu. God..I hope he’s cool. I’d hate to have another asshole like that perverted snake from last year.” Taking the handle the door, Naruto allowed himself a mental shudder before pulling the door open and walking inside.
All eyes turning towards him, Naruto gave a nervous smile as he walked down to the front of the class and up to the teachers desk, where a tall man in his late twenty’s was sitting, looking very absorbed in his work.
“Excuse me, sir. Sorry I’m late, but I was talking with the Principle.” Naruto winced as the man’s eyes lifted up to study him.
“Do you have a note?”
Giving his teacher a nervous smile, Naruto rubbed the back of his neck absentmindedly. “Does a bump on the head count?”
“No.” Turning back to look at a file on his desk the teacher picked up a sheet a paper from a pile at the end of his desk and handed it to Naruto, addressing him without looking up.
“I’m Mr. Ebisu your new Algebra I teacher. This is a syllabus of my rules and the things that will be covered this year. Please be don’t be late again or you will receive Detention. Now please take a seat and follow the instructions that I’ve written up on the board.”
Nodding, Naruto made his way back, looking around for an open place to sit.
“Pssst..Naruto! Over here. I saved you a seat”
Recognizing the voice of his long time friend, Naruto walked over to the back of the room quickly and took the desk next to a wild looking boy with unruly brown hair.
“Thanks, Kiba.”
“No sweat, Foxy. So why were you late?” Pulling out his notebook and a pen, Naruto glanced up at the board and scribbled down the assignment before answering.
“I was here on time, but I had a nasty run in with the schools new asshole and almost got in a fight with him. It’s a shame really. He’s such a babe….”
Shaking his head Naruto continued, ignoring the weird look Kiba was giving him. “Anyways, after that the old lady found me and gave me a ten minute lecture on why I shouldn’t put water balloons on her chair on the first day of school..”
Snickering, Kiba gave his friend a hearty pat on the back and grinned. “You’re an evil, evil man, Naruto.”
“You know it. Now c’mon lets get to work. The faster I finish this the quicker lunch time will come around.” Laughing, both boys turned back to there work, thoughts a food in mind.
Rising from their seats at the sound to the bell, Shino, Sasuke and Neji shouldered their schoolbags and walked out of the Photography classroom, pausing at the teachers desk only to hand her their completed assignments before stepping out into a crowded hallway.
As they walked, Sasuke reached back into his pocket and pulled out his schedule, scanning the page before responding. “Calculus with Kuzunoha-sensei.”
Neji smiled. “We can walk together then. I have that next as well.”
Turning the corner, Neji waved as Shino made his way down the opposite side of the hallway. “See you at lunch then.”
Falling into step they walked together towards the Math department, staying silent the entire trip.
Reaching their classroom minutes later, Sasuke went to open the door, frowning as he was stopped by what he could only describe as a ‘Pink Blob’.
Shuddering at the horrid smell of cheap perfume that invaded his nose Sasuke stepped back and glared, hoping to scare the thing away. A girl terribly dressed in way too many bright colors and showing way too much skin, left Sauske feeling rather nauseous. Her bubblegum pink hair, standing out more than anything else, sent Sasuke back another step.
“Hello there! I’m Sakura. Are you new here? What’s your name?” God it sounded like nails against a chalk board…
“Move.” Gritting his teeth, Sasuke grabbed the door handle again and pulled the door open, walking in around the girl, followed by an amused Neji.
“You’re a real ladies man aren’t you?”
“Hn.”
In Sasuke’s opinion women were just plain insane. Worst of all were the fan girls. Squealing and grabbing at him like man hungry monsters. It wasn’t even lunch hour yet and he’d managed to gather quite a bit of attention for classmates; girls and boys. ‘Ugh...I doubt today could get any worse.’
Suppressing another shiver of disgust, he walked with Neji to the back of the room where they seated themselves in the last two open desks in the row.
Already sitting in one of them was a redheaded boy with pale green eyes, the Kanji symbol for ‘Love’ tattooed in red on his forehead. He looked rather dangerous sitting there, arms crossed over his chest, leaning back against the seat with a blank expression on his face.
Neji dropped his bag and smiled, grabbing the attention of the redheaded boy and motioning for him to listen.
“Oh let me introduce you guys, Sasuke this is-.”
An arm around Neji’s waist stopped any further introductions as the redheaded boy pulled Neji backwards and into his lap, grabbing his chin to pull their faces closer. Neji gifted the boy with a small smile before bringing their lips together, wrapping his arms around the other boys neck.
Small noises of appreciation reached his ears as Sasuke sat back and watched the open display of affection with mild curiosity.
Neji’s fingers laced into thick red hair as the other boy’s hands found there way under a white shirt. A flash of tongue and more noises caused Sasuke to blush lightly, shifting in his seat uneasily.
Minutes passed before Neji took pity on him and eased back from the kiss, sending the other boy another smile.
Breathlessly, Neji turned. “Sasuke-kun this is my boyfriend, Gaara Sabaku.”
“Gaara this is Sasuke Uchiha, he takes Photography with Shino and me.” Sasuke nodded to the boy, receiving a nod back in greeting.
“Hello class!” A voice from the front of the room caused all three boys to snap their attention forward, turning their eyes to a good-looking man that stood professionally at his desk. “Please, everyone to your seats.”
Standing up from Gaara’s lap, Neji took the open seat next to him and crossed his arms over his chest.
“I’m Raidou Kuzunoha your Calculus teacher.”
After a short speech from the teacher on the course and its requirements the class was instructed to talk quietly among themselves.
“Uchiha-san? Would you care to join us for lunch?”
Turning, Sasuke graced his new friend with the barest hint of a smile and nodded.
“Sure. Sounds good.”
P...The book Neji is reading is I, Lucifer by Glen Duncan. Really good, but not for anyone who doesn't enjoy reading a lot. It's language is kinda..difficult. Still very awesome and a keeper if you ever get your hands on it.
