A/N: I absolutely love getting feedback! It's like this warm, fuzzy feeling. Seriously. I enjoy writing, and after I finish with this one-shot, I'll continue with 'The Next Generation'. I love ya'll!
Disclaimer: Yeah. No.
Ginny Weasley was in her fifth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She was in Gryffindor, had a mane of long red hair and round brown eyes. It was late as she sat in the common room finishing some Transfiguration homework. Except for herself, the room was completely empty. She had a song stuck in her head. In her mind, she cursed Hermione for playing it. She looked un-necessarily around the room to make sure it was empty before beginning to sing quietly.
"Gotta find you inner strength
If ya can't then just throw life away"
Ha! Ginny thought. This should be my theme song.
"Gotta learn to rely on you
Beauty, strength and wisdom too"
Little did she know, Harry had come down, as he wasn't able to sleep. He froze when he heard Ginny's voice. It was beauty itself to him. Soft and gentle, yet firm.
"You're beautiful inside and out
Lead a great life without a doubt"
Ginny felt like crying. Even though Hermione advised her to loosen up around Harry, she still loved him with all her heart.
"Don't need a man to make things fair
'Cause more than likely he won't be there"
Harry could hear the sadness in her voice as she sang. Suddenly, maybe even subconsciously, something clicked in his brain. She was singing about him!
"Listen girl, gotta know it's true
In the end all you've got is you…"
She sighed and thought aloud, "Will Harry ever get it?" She started when she heard footsteps behind her. She wheeled around to see (much to her horror), Harry. He was looking at her as though he'd never seen her before. "Harry," she squeaked, "How much of that did you hear?" He grinned, a hint of mischief in his eyes, and said, "I heard you singing,(beautifully in my opinion) and then you wondered if I would ever get…something," he said, as his face got closer to hers. When they were about an inch apart, she smirked and asked, "Do you get it yet?" he grinned back, that sparkle still in his eyes, and kissed her. He replied, "I dunno. Do I?"
Ron had chosen this particular moment to walk in to check on Harry. His mouth dropped open. His BEST FRIEND and his LITTLE SISTER were KISSING! "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" he shouted. They looked up at Ron, whose face could rival his hair. They exchanged glances, grinning. "Well…" said Ginny.
A/N: Now back to the real world, all of you I must send, for I have only two words left, and they are: The End! (from Ella Enchanted)
