Like A Rose

A rose is a rose is a rose,

A thorn is a thorn,

A pedal is a pedal,

Its extraordinary beauty,

Can not be compared.

The dew on the pedals,

Is just a sign,

Of freshness.

The thorns,

Are not there to be harmed with.

But to show,

No matter how safe you look,

No one knows the true self.

Your hair represents the red petals,

Your radiant eyes the soft stem and leaves.

Your strength represents the roots.

All in all,

You are like a rose, my princess.

A red radiant luscious rose.
