Author's note: for people who cared, I was on a short brainstorming vacation from writing. During that time, I was reading a walkthrough I found for banjo-tooie, and then I got an idea for a great fiction. Hope everyone likes it.

In an empty field, two people were facing off. One was a teen that looked to be about 16 or so, the other looked to be around 20. Both dashed at each other, a weapon in their hand. When the weapons connected, a blinding flash erupted. When the flash subsided, both combatants were gone.

-Chapter 1: a world away from our own-

It was a special day for the isle of hags. Today was the third year since Banjo bear and Kazooie breegull defeated evil witch gruntilda T. winkybunion. To celebrate this day, a huge festival was being held in Jinjo village.

Everyone from the isle of hags was there. The rulers of Mayahem temple, Glitter gulch mines, Witchyworld, Jolly Rogers lagoon, Terrydactyland, Grunty industries, The Hailfire peaks (fire and ice sides), and cloud Cuckooland. A few of each of their subjects (aka the enemies of that area) were also around.

The stoneys, Jinjo's and moles had organized a kickball tournament together. Honey B. and her bee's had brought some of their famous honey for everyone to enjoy, and Banjo, Kazooie, and the others got together and played a song (for anyone who's played Banjo-Kazooie, the song is the same one they play during the opening, only with Bottles, Jamjars, and humba helping as well).

Also, Mumbo and humba had put aside their differences over the years and completed a spell to bring back the white jinjo's. For an opening they used the spell to resurrect the whites and rebuild their house. After, the fun began.

The Jinjo's also did a dance to celebrate the rebirth of the white Jinjo family. Everyone enjoyed everything. From the pizza chili-Billy and chili-Willy ordered, to Honey B.'s honey.

And for a final act, Bottles and Jamjars also unveiled three new moves for Banjo and Kazooie. One for Banjo, one for Kazooie, and one new team attack. Then it was time for practicing.

"First up, Banjo!" king jingaling announced from the Jinjo kickball arena. Banjo stood in the middle of the arena, with every seat filled with a member of the celebration.

"Banjo's new move is known as the pack punch," Bottles announced. "With this move, Banjo swings his backpack from his side out in front of himself, whacking any enemies around him."

"Now Banjo will demonstrate on the gruntlings that Mumbo Jumbo and Humba Wumba created," Jamjars announced.

Several gruntlings appeared from one doorway in front of Banjo. Banjo swung his backpack around and knocked all of the gruntlings out with one blow. They all disappeared in a puff of white smoke afterwards.

Banjo walked out of the other side of the arena and Kazooie came in.

"Next up is featherbrain…I mean, Kazooie" Bottles announced. Kazooie glared at the mole as she walked into the center of the arena.

"Kazooie will be demonstrating the talon shredder," Jamjars announced. "She jumps into the air and slashes downward with her talons to shred anything in her way."

More gruntlings appeared from the gate in front of her and charged. She jumped into the air, and slashed the first gruntling with her talons. The gruntlings all fell in a heap and disappeared in a puff of smoke.

Banjo came out and Kazooie jumped into Banjo's backpack.

"Finally, the new team move for Banjo-Kazooie is known as the Breegull spear" Bottles announced. You could hear Kazooie gulping nervously at the name.

"Banjo pulls Kazooie out of his backpack and holds her by her feet," Jamjars explained. "Then Banjo thrusts outward with Kazooie's beak out front to stab enemies in front of them."

"Banjo can also spin around with Kazooie's beak in front of them to slash every enemy around them if they get cornered," Bottles added.

More gruntlings came out of the gate, headed for Banjo and Kazooie. Banjo pulled Kazooie out of his backpack, and thrust forward with her, stabbing the nearest enemy into the others. More came and surrounded them, and Banjo spun around, knocking all the gruntlings away. All of the gruntling disappeared.

Tons of clapping and cheering erupted.

Suddenly, a bright flash erupted from above the field. Everyone shielded their eyes from the light. Once the flash subsided, everyone looked into the arena to see a teen that looked to be around 16 or so lying on the ground.

-Later-

"So, where do you think this guy is from?" Tooty, Banjo's little sister (who was oddly absent from Banjo-tooie) asked as they watched the guy.

"Well, he doesn't look like he's from around here, that's for sure" Kazooie said as she stuck her head out of Banjo's backpack on the coat rack near the bed.

"Mumbo wonder where kid is from" Mumbo said.

"Yeah, this is big heaps confusing" Humba put in.

"Well, we can quiz him when he comes to" Banjo said. "Till then, anyone want to go outside and just have fun?"

"Sure" everyone replied, and they went outside with the same question on their minds 'Who is this kid, and where did he come from?'

Well, the plot thickens. Who is this kid who suddenly appeared? What happened to the other guy? Will Mumbo ever stop talking in the first person? And will Bottles and Kazooie ever get along?

One simple answer to that right now…who knows? Most of this stuff will be answered in the next episode of dragon ball z…I mean…crystal adventure.
