Ring around the REVENGE!

Summary: Demyx, Roxas and Axel take it too far with the flower jokes… Stupid little one-shot… Horror because it analyzes the rhyme "Ring Around the Rosie"

Author's Note: I was bored and wanted to write something new. Yeah… When I have fifty other stories I need to update… I have got to start writing more slash.

The resident idiots had gone too far this time.

Marluxia stood, rigid, as the last bit of his dignity was blown away in the wind. The eight other members of Organization XIII watched on; at this point, even the more stoic of members- Xemnas, Xaldin, Saix, Zexion- were snickering violently behind their hands. The other four- Xigbar, Lexaeus, Larxene and Vexen- were out-right howling with laughter.

Marluxia felt his self-respect drop another few notches.

As for members VIII, IX, and XIII- well… they were currently playing the antagonizers. They skipped in circles around the fuming Marluxia, throwing flower petals at him as they did. "Ring around the rosie, pocket full 'o posies!" they sang mockingly.

Oh… if only they knew the origins of that song. The Plague… The Black Death… The thought of the mass hysteria these diseases gave Marluxia a brief, inner moment of bliss. The "Ring around the rosie" part referred to rosaries used by monks during the plague- the "pocket full of posies" referred to people putting flowers in their pockets to lessen the smell of death in their towns…

"Ashes, ashes, we all fall down!"

Ashes, ashes… Marluxia mentally sang along, sadistically recalling sketches of burning bodies… And the "we all fall down" part… Well, does that part really need to be analyzed, or can you figure it out on your own? Under the cover of his musings, Axel, Roxas and Demyx got away with two more choruses of "Ring around the Rosie". Until, finally, Marluxia spoke up.

The three stopped- they were unnerved to see a suddenly sweet look on Marluxia's face. "Would you three like a vaguely similar demonstration on how that rhyme originated?" He asked. The three looked at each other. Just then, the hundreds of flower petals they had thrown on Marluxia suddenly sprang up and formed a giant rat. Marluxia smirked.

"Meet the Black Plague, boys."

(Stares at story) I have NO idea where that came from. Well… It's 1:30 AM… And I'm on a caffeine and sugar high… so that might have something to do with it.
