Sora and Riku are both sitting on the dock.

Sora raises his hand in front of him.

Riku raises an eyebrow. ''What're you doing, Sora?''

Sora tilts his head. ''Ever wonder why there are spaces between a person's fingers?''

''So.. we can move them?'' Riku responds.

''I think the reason that god gave us spaces between our fingers is so that another person's hand could fill it up,'' Sora says.

And Riku only laughs. ''That's stupid.''

Sora pouts in that cute childlike way of his, hurt written all over his face.

''It's not stupid..''

And Riku regrets saying that.

Sora leans back on his hands, but not before he's feel someone else's fingers intertwine in his own. He looks down to see it's Riku's hand.

''No, it's not stupid,'' says Riku. ''It's completely true.''

And Sora just smiles the way he always does. Except this time, his smile seems a bit brighter since Riku is smiling along with him.
