His Glasses

The Doctor was having one of those days. No, not one of those arrive on a new planet, discover a friendly bunch of aliens, discover said aliens aren't so friendly, grab Rose's hand and whisk her back to the safety of the TARDIS. Nope, today was one of those unusually annoying domestic days…

'Rose!' The Doctor called from his station at the TARDIS console, 'Have you seen my glasses?'

'No, why would I have your glasses?' she called back from her room. (The TARDIS had amazing acoustics thus allowing for shouted conversations to be carried out easily)

'I'm not saying you have them, I'm just saying they were right here and now they're gone,' he barked gesturing at the console.

'Well I dunno, maybe you left them in your study,' she answered as she started for the console room, 'Or you dropped them when we running away from those- ' she stopped short as she walked up to where the Doctor stood. She grinned widely.

'What?'

She looked pointedly at him.

'What?' he whipped his head around.

Sighing exasperatedly she walked up to him and tugged his glasses down from their perch on the top of his head.

'Wha-! How did they get up there?' he questioned astonished and bemused.

'I have no idea,' she laughed, wandering off down the corridor back to her room. As she settled down into her novel she wasn't surprised to hear, 'Rose! Have you seen where my sonic screwdriver has got to?'
