Chapter I—Everything Burns

Sunrays glared of the magnificent palace spires. July 31st, 1985, was a day to be remembered for the people of the highly inhabited, flourished planet.

“Oh, I see the head my Queen, keep pushing!” The doctor urged.

Dimitria of Inquiris, now of Eltare, threw her head back and gave a grunt as she pushed as hard as she possibly could. Seconds later, she heard the satisfying sound of a baby’s cry…

She opened her eyes, her husband Zordon smiling warmly at her and holding her hand firmly.

“Well, it looks like you have yourself an Heir of Eltare: a boy!” the doctor informed them happily as he disposed of the umbilical cord.

Dimitria smiled as she held her son.

“We’re still going with Hunter, right?” Zordon asked hopefully.

Dimitria nodded, “Hunter Andrew Zeta.”

A little over a year later, Dimitria found herself in the exact same position, on the 15th of December. Zordon had been satisfied with Hunter, no doubt. He paraded him around like a shining trophy, which he was in a way. He was the hope of their planet; their heir. No doubt he would become a powerful warrior and wizard like his father.

Blond hair, green eyes, and weighing in at 7 lbs, 12 oz, Nike Elizabeth Zeta became the princess of Eltare. She resembled her father with her hair color, but the green eyes were a new thing, as Dimitria had brown eyes and Zordon blue. Nike’s brother, Hunter, however, was a striking mirror image of Zordon…only much younger. Nonetheless, the dirty blonde hair and icy blue eyes were unmistakably inherited from Zordon.

Zordon had a complicated back story. He’d been imprisoned by Rita Repulsa up until two years before Hunter’s birth. He was able to free himself from her spell, and was able to resume his youthful form. Once he found his corporal form, his advisors informed he should hurriedly find a wife to procreate with in order to secure the Royal Bloodline and ready a place for the Heir of Eltare. Dimitria of Inquiris was a perfect choice, so when she came to visit on a Delegate Meeting, Zordon wooed her immediately, and the two married a year later.

With the way things were going for Zordon and Dimitria, things couldn’t have gotten better. When the King and Queen needed a break, Dimitria’s sister Diva was ready to take Hunter and Nike and spoil them until the two returned. Life was truly paradise.

So when Dimitria ended up in the middle of another child birth, she thought to herself “No more.”

She loved her children dearly, but the pain that came along with their arrival was something she no longer wanted to deal with. Besides, one Grand Duke or Dutch, depending on the sex of the baby, was enough to rule Eltare for a while.

September 22nd, 1987, Andrea Erin Zeta popped into the world at 7 lbs even, and a little under 14 inches.

Paradise resumed, increasing in enjoyment over the years.

Then it happened. December 31st, 11:59 PM, just before the start of the year 1990, Rita’s Space Dumpster went in orbit over Eltare. With one final vengeful spell, Rita managed to lock Zordon in his Time Warp once more. Eventually, she ended up on the moon of Earth, where she waited to be set free.

All of Zordon’s royal counsel attempted to free him from his time warp, but to no avail. In a prophetic dream he had, Zordon realized what was to happen in the next several years. He spoke with his wife, his children, and his closest friends, then took an Alpha Unit to Earth with him and set up base in Angel Grove, awaiting danger.

His patience served him well, as two bumbling space men accidentally uncovered Rita’s Dumpster and set her free, where she set up her palace on the moon and began her assault on Earth.

Simultaneously, Dark Specter set his plan into motion. With all his power, his brother Maligore and he opened a portal that allowed the Chrominites to enter the 3rd Dimension.

The Chrominites were fiercest beings known to the universe, comprised of 18 different deities well known to Earth. The Olympian Chrominites: Zeus (God of Gods), Hera (Goddess of the Stars), Poseidon (God of Water), Demeter (Goddess of Life), Artemis (Goddess of Nature), Apollo (God of Light), Athena (Goddess of Wisdom), Hephaestus (God of Fire), Ares (God of War), Aphrodite (Goddess of Love), Hermes (God of Guidance), and Hestia (Goddess of Earth). The second, less-known group of Chrominites, was the Omagnas, composed of Hades (God of Death), Helios (God of Sun), Eos (God of Dawn), Selene (Goddess of Moon), and Dionysus (God of Herbs). And, somehow, an Infernal God by the name of Belial (God of Demons), struck up an alliance with Zeus.

Once they were allowed to enter, they began to conquer all outer lying planets, aiding Zed, Grumm, and villains the rangers would face in later dates, against the forces of goodness.

When the Chrominites reached Eltare, they easily wiped out the Eltarian army, and began to assault the palace. In a last ditch effort, Dimitria gave her children to her sister Diva LaViva and sent them to Zanzibar, a different dimension she often visited for meditation.

Dimitria, after painfully departing with her children, fought hard against the Chrominites, and eventually managed to take the Chronus stone and shatter into 12 pieces. However, one fragment was stolen from her before she could cast them all to Earth. She managed to send the rest away to Earth where she knew Zordon would guard them, before she was finally defeated and forced to retreat.

Diva thought the children were safe in Zanzibar, but the Chrominites, which in English meant “Gods” or “Goddesses,” found a way to Zanzibar, and began destroying it. In an effort to keep her promise to her sister, Diva sent the children to Earth, but Hunter was accidentally separated from his sisters, and landed somewhere outside of Angel Grove. The city’s name…Blue Bay Harbor.

He would grow up adopted as Hunter Bradley, and would later become the Crimson Thunder Ranger.

Nike and Andrea would grow up on their own, never contacting their father, thinking he was probably dead and that risking contact could completely obliterate the Royal Eltarian Family.

Not much later after the Zeta children arrived on Earth did Aisha Campbell become part of the Power Rangers. When she left to find her Zeo Sub Crystal in Africa, she stayed there to help the animals.

Zeus, the leader of the Chrominites, disguised himself as a human and tricked Aisha into falling madly in love with him. After he impregnated her, he took the unborn baby from her, and stored him in his splinter. Zeus, being the all powerful god he was, needed to create a splinter every near hundred years. His splinter for that particular period of time just happened to be another of Zordon’s trusted Rangers: Thomas Oliver.

After storing the baby into Tommy in a seed form, Zeus waited, knowing that whoever Tommy lost his virginity to would be impregnated with Zeus’ child. That woman also happened to be a Power Ranger.

Kimberly Ann Hart moved to Florida to participate in the Pan Global Games. Not long after, she wrote Tommy, explaining she had ‘another man’ in her life. A horrible lie as it was, Kimberly felt she needed to raise the baby on her own. She didn’t even stop to wonder why the child had a tan complexion, almost black hair, and orange streaks running throughout her hair.

This baby, her name Natasha Demidiosa, the demi-goddess warrior of Time, was taken from her by a “gracious” Zeus who convinced her Natasha was destined for greatness. So, having no foreknowledge of Zeus, she accepted willingly. Zeus, however, did not plan on Kim being pregnant with twins.

Her second child, Thomas Jason Hart, had brown hair and green eyes, none of those traits belonging to Zeus. Natasha, however, bore traits similar to Aisha and Zeus, which set her aside from Thomas, nicknamed “Hercules” for his inexplicable strength.

Now the Chrominites have set their sights on Earth, and they plan to take it through extreme force after the downfall of Lothor and Mesogog. Nike and Andrea have been preparing for such an occasion and have gather 11 of the 12 Fury Stones, and harnessed their powers into morphers. And they wait for the predestined rangers to come and utilize the power of nature to stop the dimensional and universal threat known as the Chrominites.
