There are few people that have embodied what, to him, is honor. Most of them have been the men and women he's worked with over his career. His partners, his bosses, his squad. Police officers mainly, with a couple others he's met along the course of his life. Those who have gained his lasting friendship and respect.

The dictionary says honor is a noun, one that means high regard or respect; personal integrity. But his own definition is more than that, holding unknowing suspects to a higher standard. The few that have met his expectations he still keeps in touch with, and a couple he still works with on a daily basis, and they have seldom, if at all, failed him.
