I have cancer.

Three words I never expected to hear myself say.

Yet here they are, spilling out of my mouth. I have cancer. Terminal cancer.

What do I do? Am I just supposed to sit here waiting for death? I should be out there, helping to find WHY I have this disease, finding a way to fight this. Laying in a hospital bed isn't going to help me survive.

I know Mulder's trying. He's looking for a cure, a reason. He's looking for truth.

And for the first time, I know exactly where the truth is. It's in me.
