Haruno Sakura was an average high school student

Haruno Sakura was an average high school student. She did her work. She doodled through most of her classes. She had dozens of sketch books with little people and animals in it not to mention stories she wrote on her spare time. She lived in a small apartment where her mom lived as well. Her mother was a private interrogator until her dad passed away. She quit her job and decided just to be in a simple patrol unit.

Sakura never talked too much since the kids around her bugged her so much. She was a very bitter child…Wait. Hold on, hold on. Bitter?

I suppose so. Most of the kids talked about her strangely since she never talked to any one. She always had her head in the clouds on in a note book. She might have been top in her class in both athletics and school work but all in all she preferred to drift off into her own little world where everything was exactly the way she wanted it.

Now, let’s get to the present time. Konoha High: A place where kids could be who they wanted. Go after their ambitions. And most importantly not care who thinks what about you…Ya right.

A bell rang as the extra classes were over. (In Japan, the kids must take an extra class AFTER school hours) A pink haired girl sat there in the music room and scribbled in her notebook.

“Hey, what are you writing?” a brown haired girl asked from over Sakura’s shoulder. She peered down at the book as Sakura covered her thoughts with her hand.

Looking up blankly at the brunette with buns, she commented a fact that everyone should have known about her.” I don’t like when people look over my shoulder.” She said and then a huge, creepy, almost too happy smile, spread from ear to ear.

“O-oh,” the girl said and backed up a bit retreating to get her flute.

Letting her lips sink down into a frown, Sakura stuck her bottom lip out and gave her tongue a good clack. Picking up her things, book bag, clarinet, and note book, she headed for the door.

“Hey, Sakura! Great game today in gym. I still can’t believe you ran that fast,” said a girl with red hair jogging up next to her in the hall way.

“I know. Go figure!” Sakura exclaimed and nearly cracked up. The girl’s smile faltered a bit but it stayed in place.

”Well I hope to play another round with you later,” she mentioned awkwardly and parted from her.

Sakura’s huge grin immediately dropped into a scowl as if gravity itself wanted it on the floor.

Her eyes were glassy. She was being ‘friendly’ with me so she could say she’s my friend and gain popularity. She really thinks I’m creepy. Sakura thought and raised her eye brows casually. Clacking her teeth together twice she hurried to get out of the school before her mom started questioning why she was home late.

Sighing, Sakura shook her head and chuckled a bit. Her mom sure was messed up. Strapping her instrument to her bag and placing her note book in her bag, she strapped her carrier onto her back like a back pack and headed down the streets.

Sakura was too busy thinking of what to read or draw after she finished with her home work that she didn’t realize where she was going until she heard a bird squawking. Looking with a raised eye brow and apathetic eyes, Sakura saw she was by a strange black shop with a crow sitting on the top of the open door.

The Black Caldron? Since when did a voodoo shop get built here? It wasn’t here last night,” Sakura said and walked inside. There were many shelves with different bottles, book, models, body parts, etc…All in all it was very gross.

“What sicko would want to work in here?” She smiled looking at some shrunken heads next to a pickled mouse in a jar.

Walking at the end of the aisle she saw a small squirt bottle. Staring at it for a while, she reached for it.

”Ah, I see you have an eye for liquids like that.” Immediately Sakura withdrew her hand and turned around to see and old lady hunched over in a black robe.

“What is it?” Sakura asked as if it were something completely horrible.

The lady smiled her crooked smile and went to go over and pick it up. She attempted to reach for it but was too short. Growling she jumped but missed as well. Sakura watched in lost interest as the lady went over to grab a stool. Bringing it back she picked up the bottle.” One spray of this in the eyes will leave you blind for a long time,” she grinned.

“What is it?” Sakura asked again. The old woman cackled and squirted Sakura on the arm.

“What are you doing?!” she yelled irritated and immediately started wiping it off her arm.

“Calm down girl, it’s just Windex,” said the woman and hopped down from the stool.

“Hey granny, aren’t you a little too old and out of shape to run such a popular shop as this?” Sakura asked sarcastically following the lady back to the counter.

“Old? Why, I’m young at heart,” she smiled and flung the cape over head and inside out. Sakura’s eyes widened upon seeing a lovely woman no older than 26 with sparkling silver hair.” See?” she grinned at her.

“How did you do that?” Sakura asked in awe.

“I told you wench, I’m young at heart,” she smiled and rested her chin in her hands while her elbows were on the counter.” Now, can I get you anything?”

“Ya right. It appears nothing good can come from black magic. They always have a catch,” sighed Sakura turning around to leave.

” You seem like the cocky, no friends, my life is mine and I don’t want you in it kind of person,” commented the lady.

Sakura looked over her shoulder.” No shit?” she asked the lady and continued walking.

“Then I suppose you’re creative as well,” she chuckled playing with the necklace on her neck. Sakura didn’t answer.” Sigh…so I guess you’re just going to leave you’re note book here with me with all your deepest thoughts?” Sakura’s eyes widened and she looked back to see the woman flipping through the pages.

Snatching it out of her hands Sakura glared at her.” Don’t touch,” she spat.

The woman smiled.” Sakura, a beautiful name. Doesn’t fit your personality, hun,” she said and gave Sakura’s chin a squeeze.

“I—“Sakura started.

“My name’s Kishikodokoroko. You can call me Ko though,” she smiled.

“Child? You’re kidding me old woman,” Sakura said making Ko’s smile fall.” And I never asked your name.”

“Oh, but once you know me it can be quite useful. How would you like a note pad? Hm?” she said pulling a purple note book out from her robe.

Sakura stared at it.” Why? I have a million.”

The woman only smiled so much bigger.” This one is…special. I’m sure it would become quite useful for all that bitterness bottled up inside your heart.”

Sakura glared and puffed her cheeks out. Snatching the note pad out of the lady’s hands, she stormed off.

“Remember. Ko. Don’t forget or you will be in trouble,” She laughed as Sakura slammed the door making the crow scream in a fit.

When Sakura got home she immediately went to her room to do her home work. When she finished she leaned her back against the wall and shut her eyes. Just sitting there taking a break from the world she heard something smash. Opening her eyes she saw her cat Futoi on her shelf. On the ground was a trophy she won in fourth grade broken. Glaring, Sakura threw a pillow at the cat.

“Stupid cat!”

The cat hissed and jumped off the shelf making a dictionary fall off and land on her dresser causing her bag fall to the ground. The latch opened and the purple note book landed straight at her feet.

Sakura sat there in awkward silence just staring at the book. Hesitantly she picked it up and flipped through it. Every page was purple.

“Psh…I hate purple,” she mumbled. In the back of the book were some words.

Those who desire are considered selfish

Those who seek pleasure are considered spoiled

Those who imagine have great talent

Put it to use here.

Your wish is this command

Be specific or it could change everything

Irreversible

Sakura kept reading the lines over again.” This is so gay,” she finally declared. Taking out a freshly sharpened pencil Sakura decided to test this.

“So you’re saying whatever I want I can get if I put it in here? That could be useful.” Sakura started laughing not being able to control her joy. Of course she didn’t believe it, but if there were such thing, this would be exactly what she would have been looking for.

“Ok then…” Sakura started to draw a boy in all black. When she finished the sketch she began to color it. When the sketch was done she wrote stats down.

“Name…Gaara. Unstable murderer who drinks the blood of his high school victims. His only victims are girls, for they are more pure.” Sakura smiled seeing what she wrote.” Now, if you’re so powerful purple-chan, then do something,” she announced and threw the note pad in the center of the room. Staring at it for ten minutes and seeing nothing happen Sakura smiled in triumph.” Looks like I was right like I usually am. Now if you’ll excuse me oh so powerful book, I must eat dinner with my mother.” Shutting her room light off, she went down stairs.

Sakura went down stairs and ate a quiet dinner with her mother.

“So…how was your day?” her mom asked popping a green bean lazily in her mouth.

“Good mom…” Sakura said and continued chewing her meal. When they finished they washed the dishes. Sakura went over and turned on the T.V.

”Sakura-chan, I have a late shift tonight. Be sure to lock the door and go to bed soon. Sakura? Are you listening?” asked her irritated mother slipping on her coat and watching her half dead daughter watch television. Sakura waved her hand making sure it was a good enough response for her mom. When the door shut, Sakura took it that it was.

After watching T.V for a couple hours it was around 10:00 pm. Sighing Sakura went up the stairs. Opening the door to her room she clicked on the light to get the biggest surprise of her life. Sweeping her hand through her bangs she stared wide eyed at her drawing, sitting there glaring at her on the carpet. Sakura had a smile creep on her face.

“It worked…It actually worked!...Heh….Hehehehe…” she exclaimed and watched the sickly pale boy stand up.

“I have a murderer of high school girls created from my imagination in my room,” she said and grinned at him.

“What’s mom going to say?”
