Author’s note: Congratulations to Rosawyn, who guessed that it was Lily Potter who wrote the poem (figuratively speaking, of course)! The riddle is over then, for all American and British (and whomever read this) readers. But you can still read it!
I hope you like the poem. I was feeling very… exhilarated the moment I wrote it.
Disclaimer: Harry Potter didn’t, doesn’t and won’t belong to me. And if you didn’t know it already, you shouldn’t be reading this.
To Harry:
Harry, I will sing,
As loud as no one ever sang before
Harry, I will laugh,
As freely as no one ever laughed before
Harry, I will run,
As far as no one ever ran before
Harry, I will cry,
As happily as no one ever cried before
Harry, I will smile,
As brightly as no one ever smiled before
Harry, I will sleep,
As wakelessly as no one ever slept before
Harry, I will wail,
As painfully as no one ever wailed before
Most of all,
Harry, I will love you,
As deeply as no one will ever love you.
