Sorry for the long update! I’ve been busy with school and haven’t been on the laptop in the long time. But don’t worry, I’m still updating Tainted Desire. Anyway, moving on to the story!

Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto or the plot of this story. I am just borrowing the plot because the real version of this was fascinating and just wanted to share it in another version. So please get this right: this story is NOT mine. (But I will be slightly changing some parts.) The real plot was actually girls going to an All-Boys school, so I reversed it. I’ll be giving out the real link once the fifth chapter is out. (which is going to be a long time… o.o)

Beyond The Eyes

Chapter II: Luck

Lee couldn’t believe it! He was never this excited in his life! But with the others…eh…

“We are going to an ALL-GIRLS SCHOOL!” Lee gushed out for the umpteenth time, “I just can’t believe it! I feel like the luckiest guy in the WORLD! How awesome is this going to be?!” Lee’s eyes beamed in happiness.

Neji, who was looking out the window didn’t bother to turn his head at Lee, “Calm down, Lee. Sheesh, it isn’t that exciting.” Lee stared at Neji in disbelief. Who was he kidding?! No boy gets a chance like these.

“Where’s your sense of adventure?”

“Sense of adventure? Sense of adventure with GIRLS? Do you have ANY IDEA how troublesome it’ll be?” Shikamaru retorted, who was sitting at the other side of the window. “And besides, our ‘sense’ of adventure died the millionth time you keep mentioning ‘oh how exciting’ it is. It’s embarrassing, girls will stare at us.”

“Yeah really, I mean why us?” Sasuke butted in, “They could’ve just given us a place in a normal public school and send five girls in our place. I would even prefer a catholic school over an all-girls school.”

“ICK! A catholic school?” Naruto finally spoke, “I am NOT going to wear a damn uniform every day!”

“WOAH! And miss out on all the fun? Miss out on this rare opportunity to be around girls?!” Lee asked in mock-horror, “NO THANK YOU.”

“Fun is being able to listen to music to drown out the annoying voice of yours repeating about ‘how fun’ this’ll be.” Neji drawled.

Lee pouted, “You’re a party-pooper, y’know?”

This time, Neji looked away from the window to smirk at Lee. “Well someone needs to be.”

Lee rolled his eyes to look out the window as Neji asked Hiashi, who was driving, how many more minutes they will reach the school.

“We’ll be there in a few more minutes.” Hiashi answered to Neji.

Sighing and sort of nervous, Neji resumed looking through the glass window. There wasn’t a lot to see. It was just lots of trees…that belonged to Konoha…well the All-Girls School of Konoha that is…until the forest began to thin out, giving them a clear view of the school. As the boys neared the school, they couldn’t help but be impressed at its sight. The grounds were immaculate and the school itself was very nice. The building strongly reminded them of a medieval castle. And they had to admit, the school was much more elegant and nicer and bigger than their school. Maybe because it was a girls’ school, after all, girls are known for their elegancy. Boy schools…not so elegant and pretty since boys are rowdy and all. There was a circular driveway in front of the school and at the center stood an elegant fountain. Hiashi drove around and pulled up in front of the school’s huge double doors.

“You boys can handle the rest of yourselves, can you?” Hiashi asked.

“It’s fine, Hiashi-sama.” Neji replied, “We can handle it ourselves. All we have to do is walk in and…we’re good. We all got each other’s backs anyway.”

Hiashi looked unsure, “You sure you boys okay with this? It is awkward to consider you’re the only boys in the entire school.”

“Arigatou Hiashi-sama,” Neji sighed, “But we’ll be fine. It’s only for a month at least. I think we’ll be able to survive for a good 30 days.”

“Yes, I know that.” He sighed, “If you need any help, just look for Hinata. I know she’s around the school somewhere.” His eyes took in the five boys as they got out of the car, and there he pulled off.

“Just so you know, Neji,” Naruto started, “Your uncle scares me. He always looks at us bad…he didn’t even say bye!” Naruto stated.

“Bah, he’s like that.” Neji said.

The boys gathered in front of the school. The school was incredibly tall that they had to lift their heads up.

“Hmph, it’s not that bad.” Neji shrugged.

“It’s HUGE,” Naruto’s eyes widened.

“Course it is dobe,” Sasuke coldly said.

“EY, I didn’t do anything to you yet!” Naruto yelled at Sasuke, annoyed.

“Eh.” Was all that Shikamaru said, his own way of agreeing.

“I can’t wait to see the inside! Let’s go in!” Lee cheered as he dragged everyone and took them inside for their first step in Konoha’s All-Girls Academy.

---

The bell rang as their luck would’ve. The five boys stopped short as girls poured out of the classrooms, cutting them off, filling the hallways with laughter, talking, and conversations about make-up and boys. There were a lot of them, which made the boys nervous. When the girls finally noticed them, the hallway was filled with silence, and no more movement. Sheesh, how rude it is to stare.

Not able to handle the embarrassment, the boys dared themselves to stare right back. They most definitely saw that most of the girls were checking out Neji and Sasuke, as they were giggling and blushing. How obvious.

Immediately, the soon giggling, blushing girls’ whispers fill the hallway. The boys caught conversations here and there.

“They weren’t lying—”

“—I wonder what she’s gonna—”

“—so the rumors were true—”

And many of that stuff, but the boys caught some of ‘this’ too.

“The one with the black-bluish hair is cute—”

“—I think the one with long hair is hot—”

“—isn’t that the heartthrob of the village—”

“—isn’t he the Hyuuga genius—”

As the compliments of the Uchiha and Hyuuga kept continuing, Shikamaru sighed, “Told you this was going to be a bother.”

“Hah, I feel like a celebrity already!” Lee exclaimed.

“Psh, you wish. Sasuke-teme and Neji are the celebrities…” Naruto sweatdropped, “I don’t know how you can be so happy. It’s…uh, let’s see—MORTIFYING.” Naruto said to Lee.

“Get used to the attention! It’ll last for, oh, let’s see: about a month!” Lee grinned.

“Meh, shuddup I hate the spotlight.” Shikamaru said.

“Don’t worry! You’ll get used to it! I get it all the time!”

“Eh…right…” Naruto sweatdropped as Lee went to a bunch of girls and greeted them as they just walked away. (Aww poor Lee ;.;) As soon as the girls walked away from Lee, he walked back to the others.

“Eh, maybe I won’t get as much attention as I usually do…” Lee sweatdropped as the boys sighed at him.

A girl shoved her way to the front as the crowd parted for her so she could get through. She stopped walking in front of us with a too-sweet smile. The boys examined her as she did the same to the boys, especially to Sasuke.

She was definitely good-looking, combined with her short pink hair, emerald green eyes with such an attractive slender body.

“Hello,” She smiled, “Welcome to the All-Girls Konoha Academy.”

“Aww, we have a welcoming committee! Aww shucks, that’s so nice of you!” Lee said sarcastically. His sarcasm was so obvious and was revealed in his tone.

The girl giggled at Lee’s sarcasm, and then soon immediately ignored Lee and focused her eyes on Sasuke, who just rolled his eyes. Though her eyes were on Sasuke, her words were focused on everyone else, “You boys are making history. Especially you.” The girl tugged at Sasuke’s collar who quickly flinched. The girl smirked, “How cute.” She thought.

Lee noticed her expression on Sasuke, who secretly felt a little jealous.

“Who wouldn’t want to be here?” The girl asked with a smirk still glued to her face.

“Uh, let’s see…” Sasuke started, “Us.” He said as he pulled away from the pink-haired girl. The girl giggled.

As Lee was being jealous at Sasuke; Naruto, Neji and Shikamaru were highly uncomfortable with the attention. Thank goodness Naruto didn’t melt to a pile of mud on the floor.

The girl, who still hasn’t given her name, grinned with obvious amusement, “You don’t want to be here?”

“Not really.” Shikamaru mumbled grumpily.

“Oh yeah,” The girl turned to the crowd, “You guys can go now,” She said raising her voice, “If you want to be late for class, and you know how mad Tsunade-sama gets when she finds out her students are late for classes.” And with that, the crowd dispersed. The girl seemed to wait until the hall was empty.

“Anyways,” The girl turned back to them, “Fine, I’ll let you guys go now also.” The girl pointed down one way to the hallway, “The main office is down there. I’ll escort you boys there if you’d like.”

“Hn. Thanks.” Neji muttered.

“Oh, by the way,” The girl smiled before adding, “My name is Haruno Sakura.”

Lee introduced everyone to her, and when they reached to Sasuke’s introduction, the girl interrupted, “Oh yes, and you are The Uchiha Sasuke.”

“Hn.” Was all that Sasuke said.

Sakura’s eyes then turned away from Sasuke and swept her gaze over the rest of the boys, “You’ll like it here.” She said.

Shikamaru shrugged, “We don’t have any other choice.”

The corners of her mouth lifted slightly, “You boys have any reason you were sent out of all the schools?”

“Ehh, data transfer got effed up?” Naruto scratched the back of his head.

“In other words, an accident.” Neji translated.

Sakura gave the boys a grin, “Don’t worry, I got that! My friend, Ino sure is a lot like your friend there. I get used to her way of speaking.” Sakura’s eyes turned to Naruto, who raised an eyebrow challengingly.

“And HOW do you know what I’m like?” Naruto pointed an index finger to himself.

Sakura shrugged, “A guess??”

Naruto didn’t respond, but he was suspicious of the Haruno girl though.

The boys were in front of the door to the main office. Sakura opened the door for the boys and held it until the boys were all in.

The black-haired secretary glanced up at the boys and Sakura, “Ohayou, how may I help you?” The secretary asked the boys kindly.

Being open, Lee spoke up, “I’m Rock Lee,” He introduced himself, “And this is Uzumaki Naruto, Nara Shikamaru, Uchiha Sasuke, and Hyuuga Neji. We were transferred here from the All-Boys Konoha Academy.

The boys easily sensed Sakura’s presence behind them and knew she was listening and observing them from behind the door.

“Ano, sumimasen, but what do you mean by transferred?” The secretary asked, “For reference, this is an All-Girls school. To get to a public high school, you have to keep driving forward and make a left at the stop sign—”

“No, we were transferred here. To this school.” Lee said.

“Gomen, but that is not possible.” The secretary said gently, “All-Girls Konoha Academy doesn’t accept boys.”

“Check the school’s database for their transcripts and records if you want to verify it, Shizune-san,” Sakura spoke up.

The secretary known as Shizune looked at Sakura, “Haruno-san, aren’t you supposed to be in class? I don’t think Tsunade-sama or Tachibana-san would be pleased to see you are late.”

Sakura flashed that too-sweet smile, “I decided to be nice and show the boys around.” She said sweetly.

“New boys.” She muttered to herself, “That doesn’t happen nowadays.” After a moment of silence, Shizune’s eyes widened, “I cannot believe this. Their records are here…”

Sakura raised an eyebrow, “Something wrong, Shizune-san?”

Shizune shook her head, “No, it’s just that…”

“We’re boys?” Neji said coldly, “Yeah, I think we already know that.”

The secretary was kind and didn’t seem too strict or mean, but they certainly didn’t like how the secretary reacted.

“So they can get their schedules right?” Sakura asked. It seemed that Sakura wanted them to stay.

Shizune had no choice. Shizune opened the bottom drawer of her desk, and shuffled through numerous files until she found what she was looking for. “Here are your schedules,” she said, handing them to them, along with envelopes. “They’re room keys,” she said curtly, seeing their questioning looks. The boys thanked Shizune and turned to take their leave but before they could, Shizune spoke in a gentle voice, “Don’t leave, boys.”

Sakura stopped in the process of opening the door, but Shizune continued, “I said boys, Haruno-san. Please wait patiently outside the door until I am finished speaking with them.” And with that, Sakura took one more glance at the boys and then walked out and closed the door behind the boys.

Shizune sighed, “I know this is very awkward, but I know what the girls are like in this school. Please be careful. A lot of things go on around here that shouldn’t, and I don’t want you boys to interfere in the crossfire.”

“What can girls do something bad here?” Lee asked.

“Many things.” Shizune replied with an enigmatic smile, “Even though I was a young girl, it’s more than I know of. So please, don’t do anything rash.”

The boys nodded.

“And if you need anything—and I mean anything—then don’t hesitate to come to me. You know where I am.” Shizune smiled, “And don’t hesitate to speak to Tsunade-sama either.”

“Who’s Tsunade?” Naruto asked, remembering the conversations he caught the girls were speaking of.

“Tsunade-sama is the principle of this school. But, she’s sort of ‘busy’ (napping) right now.”

“Oh, we see. Arigatou.” Neji said, and this time with no coldness in his voice. The secretary was actually really kind.

Shizune flashed a gentle smile, “Now shoo, you go and have fun.”

The boys grinned as they stepped out of the office. Sakura was waiting outside, “What did she want?” She asked when she saw them step out.

“To wish us luck.” Shikamaru shrugged.

Her emerald green eyes flickered. “Oh…so you want me to show you your rooms?” She quickly flashed her super-sweet smile.

Neji spoke up. “No, we can find it ourselves—”

“If you don’t mind, that would be nice.” Lee interrupted Neji who gave him the ‘wtf?’ look, but Lee ignored his expression as Neji rolled his eyes. Sakura nodded to the boys.

“Your room number is 107,” Sakura said shortly after looking at the boys’ schedules, “So you will all be sharing the same room.” The five boys exchanged delighted smiles to each other. Things were getting better and better for them: better that they were all together and weren’t with any girls!

“Great,” Shikamaru said, “What about classes?”

“Classroom numbers are on your schedules,” Sakura replied.

There was a big gap of pause as the boys followed the pink-haired girl and tried to remember the turns and twists in the huge school.

“You knew we were coming,” Sasuke suddenly bluntly. It wasn’t a question, it wasn’t a statement; it was a fact.

To her credit, nothing—no surprise, no curiosity, no anything—registered in Sakura’s face. “Yeah,” she said quietly, but didn’t offer anything more.

“How?” Sasuke asked coldly. How could she know? Shizune didn’t even know that the boys were transferred here.

“We…all have our ways in this school.” Sakura said passively.

“We?” Naruto questioned, picking up the plural in her sentence.

“How many people know?” Neji pressed coldly.

“Pretty much the entire school I guess.” Sakura said without facing them.

“How? And who told them?” Neji once again asked coldly.

Sakura’s green eyes flickered in amusement, “Let’s just say that curiosity in this school can get you in deep trouble. You know what they say: curiosity killed the cat.” Sakura was trying to discourage them, but she didn’t know how easily deterred Neji was.

“Is that a warning or a threat?” Neji narrowed his eyes.

Sakura smiled, “A friendly warning! Our school is…very different from many other All-Girl schools. Very different.”

“We don’t even know who the hell you are. Why should we trust you?” Sasuke said in his usual aggressiveness.

Sakura’s eyes beamed at Sasuke, “You’ll have to trust someone eventually.”

“Well, I don’t trust you. I’ll trust my cousin who goes here.” Neji spoke up. He was clearly annoyed by this girl.

“Oh, Hinata-san?” Sakura asked.

“Yes, Hinata-sama. Now I’ll go find my way to our rooms.” Neji said as he walked past Sakura. With that, no one said anymore, with Neji in the lead this time with his fists stuffed in his pockets. He clearly didn’t like the pink-haired girl. Whenever Sakura told Neji where to go, Neji’s presence was filling up with annoyance. It’s easy to tell when he gets annoyed and more annoyed. He actually didn’t like her from the start. No one didn’t say anything any farther and resumed walking. At this time, Neji took the chance and examined Sakura. She seemed the type who gets a lot of attention. She probably belonged to the “popular” clique in the school, if one even existed. Did they even have stereotypes in this school? Neji was wondering whether or not he should ask Sakura, but decided not to for he was already annoyed by her already. Suddenly she stopped walking, making the other boys stop too.

“Turn around,” Sakura instructed.

“Why?” Naruto asked, confused, “Did we go the wrong way?”

“Yeah, wrong turn sorry.” Sakura replied. She didn’t sound sorry or look sorry. She didn’t seem the type to make such a simple mistake. Neji sighed in annoyance.

“Then let’s go.” Neji said, making a move to turn around back to the other way they came from, but voices were heard from the corner which made the boys stop in their track. Someone was swearing viciously to someone else.

A mocking laugh followed the stream of curses, “Watch your language, Akako.”

“What happened to the honor code?” Spat another voice.

“Fuck the honor code. You broke that when you got the others to jump Kameko.” The voice answered coldly. “You deserve what you’re getting.”

“I’ll tell.” The other voice threatened.

“Oh really now?” Cloth rustled and was followed by the sound of a fist striking something hard. There was a muffled cry of pain.

“What the hell is going on?” Neji hissed, whirling on Sakura. She was leaning against a row of lockers and had an unreadable expression on her face.

To reply to Neji’s question, Sakura only nodded her head, “Stay out of this. It isn’t your business.” Despite her words, her tone was placid and not malicious in the least.

“Do you know who they are?” Naruto questioned. Sakura paused for a moment and then nodded. “Why aren’t you stopping them?” Naruto asked again.

“Like I said, this isn’t your business. This is just between Akako and Etsu. No one needs to get involved.

“Are they like enemies or something?” Lee asked, knowing his curious side.

“I guess you can say that.” Sakura said simply.

“Then who the hell is Kameko?” Shikamaru finally spoke, inferring to the name that one of the girls mentioned. He seemed impatient and wanted to get to his room. But then again, Shikamaru always thought that women were troublesome, that’s the main reason why he didn’t like the fact that their formal school burned down.

Sakura paused, hesitating to tell or not, “Aomori Kameko, one of Etsu’s friends. Shikamaru opened his mouth—no doubt to ask another question—but was cut off by a loud voice from around the corner.

“Holy fuck—what the hell are you—what the fuck did you do to her?!” The voice was new, and Sakura seemed to recognize it because her eyes widened.

“Shit.” She breathed out. It wasn’t hard to guess that something was wrong.

“What is it?” Lee asked, but his reply was Sakura motioning him and the other boys to keep it quiet. They heard the voices clearly from where they were standing.

“Fuck off, Leiko,” The first voice snarled. It was followed by a commotion as if several people were fighting.

“Let’s move. Now.” Sakura ordered the boys, and this time, the guys didn’t hesitate. The boys followed Sakura in silence until they reached their room. “Your room,” She said, stopping. Her flashy smile was gone, and her eyes didn’t beam. “Tomorrow you will start your actual classes. You need to unpack today and get used to this school.” And with that, she turned to leave.

“Wait,” Neji said in his usual emotionless voice. Sakura stopped in her tracks, but didn’t bother to turn around.

“You owe us an explanation. What happened back there?” Neji crossed his arms. Sakura’s shoulders tensed and then relaxed.

“Don’t worry about it,” She said, turning around to look at Neji. Her smile was back, “It’s just a small fight. Happens all the time. You’ll get used to it.”

Neji didn’t believe a word of it, “Tell us anyway.”

She sighed, “You want names? It’s Aomori Kameko, Iwate Etsu, Hoshiwara Leiko and Miyagi Akako.”

“Names are useless and don’t mean anything.” Neji quickly replied, “We want the story.”

Her lips tightened, “Sorry I don’t think so.”

“We’re going to find out sooner or later.” Shikamaru pointed out, “Even all-girls school spread rumors and gossip…knowing really chatty girls…”

Sakura shook her head, “You’re wrong.”

“Don’t bother denying it,” Sasuke finally spoke, “I know girls gossip a lot. I would know.” And Sasuke does. After all, he’s always being stalked every day. Almost.

“I don’t plan on denying on anything.” Sakura said, a small smile on her lips, “I was about to say that those rules don’t apply on our school. Sure, girls gossip—I do—but when…certain people…don’t want news to spread, you’d be surprised how fast the news drops.”

“So are you going to tell us or not?” Naruto demanded, “You can either tell us now or leave and go back to your classes and then we’ll find everything out by someone else.”

Sakura shrugged, “What exactly do you want to know?”

“Why they were fighting.” Sasuke simply said.

“So why were they fighting?” Lee asked.

“They’re in rival groups. Etsu and Kameko are in one group and Akako and Leiko are in the other group.” Sakura replied.

“Woah, so this is like a gang thing? Like…a rumble?” Naruto asked.

Sakura shrugged, “Well…I guess you can say that…”

“So…whose gang are you on?” Neji asked, his eyes holding no more annoyance, but more like curiousness now.

“I’m with Kameko and Etsu.”

“And are all the girls in this school separated into two gangs?” Lee questioned.

“No, not all of us,” Sakura retorted, “But I’m in one of them. Some girls are involved, some girls aren’t. I can’t help it if I’m involved. Guilty as charged. It’s Konoha All-Girls High, y’know.”

“Alright, now it makes sense.” Sasuke stated.

Sakura giggled, “You guys are getting in way over your heads.” She said, “Just one advice: be careful. This school isn’t like any other All-Girls school. There are no rules in this school.”

“There has to be some rules.” Shikamaru commented.

Sakura’s grin only grew at Shikamaru’s comment. “Well, it’s sure not the school’s rules. Here at Konoha All-Girls High, we play by our own rules. The school’s restrictions don’t apply to us.”

“Sounds fun,” Neji smirked.

“Oh it is.” Sakura assured him, “But not if you get too deep. Because if you do, you’ll be in deep trouble.”

“Warning acknowledged, Haruno.” Neji said.

Sakura’s emerald eyes sparkled, “Welcome to Konoha All-Girls High.” She turned to leave, but turned back, “Oh by the way, good luck. You’ll need it.” She said and left. After she left, the boys entered their room and started unpacking.

“Finally!” Shikamaru plopped down on his bed, “I thought that girl would never go away!”

“Yeah, and what does she mean to be careful! We’re guys!” Naruto said, plopping down on another bed.

“Well, those girls seemed really tough.” Lee stated.

“Yeah, what is this? A bitch school?” Sasuke asked.

“Probably…” Neji said, “But Hinata-sama never told me about this…shit, I hope she’s alright.” Neji muttered.

“Oh right, I forgot. You’re cousin’s here. Is she like tough or anything?” Sasuke asked as he lied down on another bed.

“Tch, she’s the most innocent thing you’ll ever see, but I think she do okay. She ain’t that weak.” Neji said. “But in case, I think we should watch our backs…something’s telling me we will need luck.” And with that, the boys resumed unpacking.

End of chapter 2! I’ll quickly get started on chapter 3 and will upload it as soon as possible! And yeah, there’s only been a slight hint of LeeSaku and a very tiiiiiiiiiny bit of SasuHina hint in here, and the other girls have not appeared yet. Have no fear, they shall appear in the next chapter and there should be hints of the other pairings in there! Well, stay tuned! Please review Thanks!
