Chapter Three: A Trip to the Hospital
Zenon Zap-Padded Nebula and Margie with the news.
"Proto Zoa is staying at Bayside Hospital."
"How are we going to get there?" asked Nebula.
"I could see if Daddy will let us take one of his shuttles," said Margie.

In Los Angeles, the three girls got a taxi ride to Bayside Hospital. Several reporters were gathered outside, and an almost equal amount of police officers were posted by the doors to keep the reporters out. Zenon, Margie and Nebula didn't have too hard a time convincing the police they were there to visit an old friend.

"Now, all we have to do is convince the receptionist we're Proto Zoa's close and personal friends," said Zenon, once they were in the hospital.
"Easy," said Margie.

"We're here to see Proto Zoa," said Margie, to the receptionist.
"And who might you be?" asked the receptionist.
Zenon stepped forward.
"Zenon Kar and friends," she said, "we're Proto Zoa's close, personal friends."
"Really."
She didn't sound convinced.
"Call his room," said Margie.
"I will," replied the receptionist.

"He says he knows you," said the receptionist, sourly, "his room is 313."
"Can we see him?"
"Yes," said the receptionist flatly, "but only one of you may enter his room at a time."
Margie and Nebula said at the same time, "Zenon."
Coming Soon: Zenon visits Proto Zoa, and Proto Zoa goes home.
