Chapter 1: The Biker Queen

The day was crisp and hot as the sands of the desert of Nominlin whipped around in the whirling winds. it was the perfect day for a run. The blue blur himself was quite enjoying himself. He had stepped away from the good'ol life with Chris and stumbled upon this new terrain. Sadly he had to leave behind his friends but he knew some way they would find him again.

Sonic enjoyed the feeling of the warm sands on his face and legs as he dashed across the desert. The sun was getting to him though, using up a lot of his energy that he should of conserved. But, he didn't really care. He watched, through the speeding air, the scenerie that he passes. Great rock formations that stretched for miles, desert plants, green and in bloom, stood out amongst the orange, brown, and yellow of the ground below them. The sky was clear, clean, and blue, just one of those days for Sonic that he was happy to be alive.

He hadn't really heard of this place, Nominlin, but after being there for a good week he had gotten to know the terrain and the people that inhabited it. Mostly red necks that were a bit to friendly to the hedgehog. But there also was a good amount of bikers that patrolled the road ways. One thing he did like about Nominlin was that the people there kept to themselves. Hardly any had TVs so they couldn't watch the news, so hardly any of them knew who Sonic was. Which was fine for him, he wouldn't have to be tackled where ever he went.

He swiftly rounded a corner and dashed off the road to heighten his experience. He spun through some rock formations and toped some canyons as he closed in on a key biker hanging spot.

He had gotten to know a few bikers in the area but there was one he hadn't met that he was interested in. They called her the Biker Queen. From what he heard she was as fast as the winds itself. Her motorcycle, called the Purple Panther, was said to be powered by some new found energy source. People told him that she was so fast that not even the Biker Kings could come to a quarter of her speed. Upon hearing this from many a biker and red neck alike, it made him eager to meet this Biker Queen.

He stopped at the tip of a large rock formation to cool himself of and regain some of his energy. The sun beat down pretty heavily in the desert as he found out the very first day he arrived. He surveyed his landscape slowly, wondering if there was a pit stop near by. But something soon caught his eye as he looked below on the main road. There was a group of bikers that seamed to be roughing up someone. He decided that he might want to get a better look. Within a millisecond he had dashed straight off the rock formation towards the road way.

As he got closer he could see better what was going on. To his knowledge a group of bikers were causing some trouble with a girl. They didn't seam to be causing any real damage as they pushed her shoulder as if to give her a warning. It was odd though despite what they did she never spoke or fraught back. So Sonic decided that she needed an intervention, besides he was hopping something mildly exciting would happen sooner or later sense he arrived.

He got in fast and saw a guy readying himself for a charge. Sonic put his leg out in front of the guy and tripped him. The man landed smack dab on his face on the hard, hot, pavement.

"What the?" The woman looked on. Questioning what this new comer was doing.

"Why you little! How dare you!" Another male biker shouted and charged towards him.

As simple as side stepping, Sonic jumped into the air and landed a foot on the top of the guys skull pushing him forward. From his lose of balance the guy ran head on into another man that had charged from behind the hedgehog.

"Come on! Is that all ya got?" Sonic smirked, turning to them doing his trademarked rubbing beneath his nose.

That seamed to get the whole clan mad as everyone except the woman charged at him. He easily fought off the group, trying his best not to hurt them to badly. In about a minute there was a large pile of men right in the middle of the road with Sonic at its tip, smiling proudly to himself. But before he could stop his gloating he was pulled up by the scuff of his neck to face the woman that he had supposedly 'saved.'

She looked at him a little peeved. "What's your damage, hedgehog?"

"What?" Sonic really didn't know how to answer that. He couldn't make a quick get away because she has a surprisingly tight grip on him.

For th first time in a while he was able to get a good look at her. She was definitely tall, a good 6ft or so. Her hair was very long and smooth, with a black-ish blue tone to it. He could make out lavender eyes beneath her amber sun glasses, her face was smooth and beautiful. Surprisingly she wore no make up, but even if she did it wouldn't change anything. She was bulky but none of it was fat. She had curves, and full breasts, but the muscle tone she packed on masked everything. If it weren't for the face, curves, and breasts you would think she was a man.

"Do you know what you did?" She squinted at him, then finally let go of the back of his neck. "You're not from around here, are you?" She took off her sun glasses, probably to get a better look at him. She huffed and turned walking away from him. "I'll let you off now but if you get in my affairs again I'll let you know." She boarded a weird looking, custom, motorcycle, fitting her helmet on snugly. She started up the bike and turned to him to say. "Because no one messes with the affairs of the Biker Queen. Not even Sonic the Hedgehog." Then she took off like a strike of lightning, just as fast as Sonic himself.

Sonic looked on wide eyed. That was the Biker Queen he just meet? It Her bike was just like those other bikers described to him. One of a kind, the only one owned by the Biker Queen herself. It was called the Purple Panther and it was the strangest, new age, motorcycle in existence. It was an onyx black with a flicker of deep purple as it shined in the light. It was completely aerodynamic in every aspect. Low to the ground and almost completely narrow. The nose and hood were folded back over the driver to make a point, the back as well ending in a point. On the back of it, along its sides was an emblem of a panther sleekly circling a violet jewel, most likely an amethyst. But on the front Sonic noticed something. It wasn't likely that a motorcycle of that shape would have the proper motor to output that much speed. He saw on the front, a glass casing, inside of it, glowing, was a purple gem. From it streamed glowing, silver, metallic stripes that weaved themselves around the entire bike. Could that be the power source that he had heard about? And if so, could it be a Chaos Emerald that she was able to harness the power from? This interested him, and in a second he was off in pursuit of this Biker Queen with so called unbeatable speed.

A couple miles down the road was a rest stop, this particular one was a common hang out for the Biker Queen. It was old and run down but still up and running. It was box like with white paint ripping of its sides. The roof was tin and it clanged against the wooden sides as strong wind passes it by. Out in front was a small two pump gas stand where a portly man took care of an all to familiar motorcycle.

Inside it looked like a normal, clean, now a days pit stop/gas station. The floor was white marble, along with white walls and nice lights dangled from the gray ceiling. There were rows upon rows of snack foods, meals, tools, and souvenirs, and along the back wall was a large glass freezer where the beverages were displayed. Up in the front was the glass white counter of which a muscular man talked with the well know Biker Queen herself.

"So, so you be tellin' me tat you were 'saved' by noon oter tan, world remoun Sonic zee hedgehogo. Ha, now dis makes-a story Kate!" Most likely an Italian body builder, he adorned himself in a white apron but no shirt. He had a long black mustash but was completely bald. He held his hands out laughingly to the woman on the counter.

Kate took a sip of her energy drink and glared at him. She sat right on top of the counter, legs crossed over the side. "Hardy har har, laugh it up Mike. But I know it was him. You and I are like the only two people with TVs out here so I should know it was him." She took another sip from the can.

"Yes, well, I doun't dought your reasonable deducshons. But wat would Sonic zee hedgehogo be doin' all da way ot here?" Mike questioned.

Kate got down from the counter and rested her elbow on it instead, slouched over. "Don't know. Free spirits like him really don't have a reason for where they end up." She took another sip, enjoying its flavor.

"Funni, sounds jus like-a you, Kate." He smirked.

"..." Kate heard him full fell but payed no mind.

"Ha, yu know Kate, I woul be jus thrille to meet zee Sonic. But yu do nut seem so." He smiled.

"I'm quite partial to Tails myself, actually." Was all she answered.

Just outside, however, that figure of interest for the two had just arrived and slowly entered the shop. Mike turned and his smile grew wide as his eyes set upon the hedgehog.

"Well wha da ya know! Sonic zee hedgehogo himselv Ha, Ha!" He greeted.

Kate turned around and leaned against the counter with her elbows perched on it to keep her balance. "Fancy meeting you again in such a short amount of time. You come here just out of coincidence or did you follow me?"

Sonic smirked. "Great minds think alike I guess."

Kate laughed and watched as Mike ran from behind the counter to the stunned hedgehog and took Sonic's paws in his large hands starring at him.

"So zis is zee amazin Sonic. I never thought I'd meet you in ma life!" Mike greeted in his weird way, Sonic just sweat dropped.

"Ha, ha. Don't scare the poor guy Mike." Kate pushed off from the counter and headed towards the back wall with all the beverages. "You thirsty Sonic?" She asked, opening the freezer and taking out another energy drink.

"Oh, yea, a bit..." He answered, still starring at Mike who hadn't let go as of yet.

Sonic watched as she came up to him and gave him a fresh energy drink from the freezer. "Sorry about before. Those guys got me a bit angry back there and I took it out on you. Don't worry about it." She smiled. "Here. Trust me this is really good stuff and it gives you a nice boost too." She winked as Sonic's paws were released by Mike and took the drink from her. She passed the two but looked back to tell Mike. "Money's on the counter. My treat Sonic. See ya!"

She took one last sip of hers, crumpled the can and tossed it into the nearest garbage can while smoothly walking out the door.

"Hey wait!" Sonic ran out just in time to see Kate jumped on her bike and pop a wheelie out of the gas pump.

Sonic knew he had to follow her if he wanted the answer to his question about the jewel in her bike. So he popped open the can she had given her, took a big sip and headed right after her.

It took him mere seconds to catch up with her, she was right about the drink though. He was right next to her now, it almost seamed to him that she wanted him to catch up to her.

"So your Sonic the hedgehog, the fastest thing alive. My father told me all about you. How he couldn't even compare to you, even with his new rocket car you still managed to beat him." She spoke first, not taking her eyes off of the road before her.

"Wait, who's your father?" Sonic wanted to make sure they were both thinking of the same person.

"You should know who I'm talking about. Likes to call himself by a whole lot of names but his most common is Sam Speed."

Sonic tripped over himself as he heard this. "What?" After which he was speechless as they raced along side each other towards their destination.

It took about fifteen more minutes before they finally reached the very top of the alter. At the top it was as if a great jewel was reflecting the aqua light that poured over the pillar. As they set foot upon the flat top there was only one single thing there, set right in the middle. As they grew closer it became apparent that the item was a white cryo-capsule. They were used to transport Bio-Androids to Mobius by cryogenicly freezing them in a sleeping state. The same sort of capsule was used to put Shadow to sleep for all those years. The only difference was in design because this particular capsule was designed for a far greater purpose, and served it on the Moon Base.

Both were soon at its sides, seeing that it's glass front was completely covered in frost. Oasis took her right paw and swiped it across the barren surface to remove the white covering. After which the goddess of destruction's face was revealed.

Upon seeing this Eggman perked up. "What? This is the face of the Goddess of Destruction? You've got to be kidding me! She's way too... too..." Eggman couldn't find the word.

"Innocent looking? Or maybe kind was the word you were looking for. Never the less that's how she was created. To not look the part..." Oasis finished for him. Oasis then bent down to the side of the capsule. She then looked over the top and said to Eggman. "Look on the side of the capsule you'll see some writing. In order for the capsule to be opened a human must recite the code."
