Sakura blinked comprehendingly.

“I will take your place in the other world, Sakura-sama. You can stay here. But after 15 years, you have to supply me with power.”

Sakura smiled hurtfully. “No. There is no need for that.”

“But why?” Natsume asked with a rather quizzical look.

Sakura looked back down, then back at Natsume. “You see.. I have no reason to stay here anymore.” Then jokingly, she said, “You were too late.”

“I’m very sorry, Sakura-sama. I had a lot of interferences while I was on my way from heaven. I really am sorry. But you have the right to stay here. And where is Keroberos? And also Yue?”

“They both don’t want to go back there, Natsume. That’s why I’m going there alone.” Sakura said. "I don't want to make it harder for them. Kero-chan wouldn't accept it.. and maybe he really deserves to stay here.. with Eriol-kun and everyone else."

“Sakura-sama..”

“I.. am not needed here anymore.” Sakura said as she hugged her mini simulation. “That’s why I’m leaving.”

“Wait!” someone said, from behind her. It was Syaoran, who was trying to catch his breath.

And it surprised Sakura so much. “W-what are you doing here?”

Syaoran revealed his own mini simulation to Sakura as he stood straight. “You.. you are needed here. But.. I don’t think I can change your mind anymore. From the cold attitude I’ve shown you..”

“Syaoran-kun..” Sakura said.

Syaoran handed her his simulation. “He.. had been lonely for a while. Without a hand to hold, or someone to stick on.” He began. “He deserves to be with her.. since you and that jerk couldn’t get together anymore.”

“W-what are you saying?” she asked out of confuse and pleasure.

“I’m a jerk. I’m the jerk.” He continued. “I didn’t want it to end this way.. but.. at least.. have them (the dolls) not alone for the rest of our lives.”

She trembled for a second.

“I still love you,” he mouthed. “Sakura.”

And it slowly drew a smile on Sakura’s face, which made Natsume comprehend.

Just then, Tomoyo and Eriol went out the car, Eriol supporting Tomoyo.

Tomoyo smiled when she saw Sakura running into Syaoran, and threw her arms around him.

“What you told Syaoran-kun.. which you never told me.. were all lies weren't they? What exactly were you up to?” Tomoyo asked Eriol

Eriol smiled. “It was a test for lovers.” He simply said. “And I’m happy with the result.” He gave Natsume a final look.

Tomoyo smiled at him. “I must have figured out.”

“That’s why I didn’t tell you. I only asked Li-kun, since he was the most gullible person in elementary next to Sakura-san. I just told to tell you about everything. But of course, he wouldn’t do that.”

“Saving me from the pain?” she chuckled.

“You can say that.”

Now back to Sakura and Syaoran..

They fell on the ground, Sakura on top of Syaoran, arms around him. “I’m so happy! I won’t be alone!”

“You’ll never be alone. I’ll always be with you.” He said.

He fulfilled both his promises. He did not forget about Sakura, and kept the world safe for the past years. Even though Sakura wasn't sure if he only remembered now or he never really forgot at all, she didn't care. He couldn't take lying anymore. And so did she. And so after a long wait, she found out that maybe she had to suffer for a good thing, and not because she was being punished.

When was the last time she was this happy? As far as she knows, this was the first time.

And maybe, not just that.. she also found out that she wasn't the only one suffering. He's been with her all along. After all..he was also lonely.

---

“KERO-CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!”

Keroberos awoke his sleep. And in front of him was a brown haired girl in pigtails. Sort of angered.

“S-SAKURA?! WHY ARE YOU YOUNG AGAIN?!” he cried. “DON’T TELL ME THAT WAS A DREAM! NOO THAT WAS TOO GOOD TO BE A DREAM! You were twenty or something then! And you had long hair! Aww! NOO! That couldn’t be a dream! Hoe?” he was stopped when he noticed that.. “Why is your hair longer than what it’s supposed to be when you’re in sixth grade? And.. why is your hair darker? Almost like that kid’s hair.. did you dye it? And why are you in low pigtails?”

“I’m not Sakura, Kero-chan. Sakura’s my mom. I’m Shizuka.”

“What’s wrong here?” An older version of Sakura appeared between the open door.

“Hoe?! An older version of Sakura?!”

“Mama!” the younger one ran into the older one. “Something’s wrong with Kero-chan. Like.. he’s been left out for fifteen years.”

“He should be.” A guy, unmistakably Syaoran, appeared beside Sakura. “That’s your punishment for eating my chocolate yesterday.”

Kero arched an eyebrow (he doesn’t have an eyebrow, but you get the point, right? (: ) “I’m lost..” he admitted, probably the first time in his entire life..

“You should be.” Syaoran muttered.

“Don’t be so mean.” Sakura said.

Shizuka walked into Kero’s bedroom. “Before I go to Aneka’s place.. why is the Dream Card here?”

“I don’t know. Why is it there?”

Shizuka shrugged. “Anyway, I’ll go now. Aunt Tomoyo is waiting downstairs. Bye!”

“Take care,” Syaoran said as his daughter strolled away.

Sakura arched an eyebrow. “Did you dream of anything, Kero-chan?”

“Ahh.. I dreamt of..” He slowly remembered. “Ohhh! Yeah! Sakura! Do you remember Natsume?”

“Yeah, I do..”

“She said.. in fifteen years, right?”

Sakura gasped in comprehension. “Oh yeah.. I have to hurry up then.”

“Are you sure you can do it? It’s hard to transfer powers, Sakura.

“It’s okay.” She smiled. “You’re with me, right?”

Suffering.. always misconcepted as a fruit of bad doings, or karma for short.. sometimes it could also be a blessing. It will actually make you think that you're needed.. and that many other people care for you. Although that's not everyone's case. For those who really suffer, and just suffer, are probably very bad people. But virtually, in Sakura's case, she found something to last forever. Her suffering was temporary, but necessary. And she found real feelings, which she knew that this test wouldn't be the last, but was enough to prove that they will last forever, this time. And no doubt about that.

--------

And so I conclude.. it’s a happy ending! Yay! For the spirit of Christmas :D

In case you didn’t get the part with the Dream Card.. Kero knew about all those things with Natsume because he dreamt about it. He wasn’t in that scene with Sakura almost leaving, right:D

It's short, I tried to make it longer by putting the after 15 years part with kero and sakura and syaoran's kid. and you can assume that aneka is tomoyo's kid. (with guess who.)

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

And sorry if you weren’t satisfied with this ending. I really suck at endings since I loose track of words.

merry Christmas!
