"I've never seen so much drool." Rose shuddered, baffled that people would get cosmetic surgery to generate superfluous saliva.

"Different customs, Rose." Jack grinned. "Looks like the Doctor forgot that."

The Doctor folded his arms and glared at his companions. "I knew exactly what I was doing."

"You knew the woman drooling in your dinner was proposing marriage? And your reaction was an acceptance? Pull the other one. If me and Jack hadn't claimed you as our mate, you'd be not so happily married now."

"You owe us, Doctor." Jack linked arms with Rose. "Showing some appreciation would be nice."
