A/N: It's the sequel to "Thoughts Of Axel!" Yay. Anyway, a lot of my friends have a theory that Larxene actually saw Axel before she faded away. Soooo, I decided to make another fluffy one-shot about Larxene and her undying love for that crazy pyro we all love! Well, most of us anyway...

Title: Death by Dreaming

Warning: This is a lot darker than my other stories, and there's lots of blood referances, so if you're squeamish, you might wanna go read a story about happy, bouncing moogles... Kupo. And this is so totally random, but brownies are fun! So go read a fic about them too. And ONLY read this if you are ready to cry, because even I was crying when I wrote this.

Larxene, using almost all of her power, (what was left of it, anyway...) warped into her library. She had to drag herself into the room. And luckily, there he was.

"Axel..." Larxene looked totally awful. Her neatly fixed hair had fell down to its natural part. She had bruises and a huge gash on her lower leg. Blood trickled down into her boots.

"Are you...fading?... Larxene?" Axel reached to help her, but she angrily smacked his arm away and looked at him with a small glare.

"I don't need the... assistance of a traitor. Namely, you." Larxene muttered while wiping her mouth, considering that she just coughed up a large amount of dark-colored blood on the floor of the library. Axel grabbed her by the waist, and pulled her up. He put his hand on her chin.

"You don't always have to be so independent..." He slid his hand across her cheek and strocked some of her fallen hair behind her ear. Larxene took her trembling hand and put it on Axel's.

"This is real. This is actually happening. I-I never thought I'd be the first one to die." she collapsed in his arms, and settled her head on his shoulder.

"It isn't over. We don't exist. Therefore, there is no end for us." Axel whispered, gently holding her next to him, feeling her nervous trembling, feeling her so close was heaven to him.

"Axel, do you hate me? For betraying the Organization?"

"No. I don't."

"But... why? Look around, can't you see what's happened? I mean, Vexen's gone, and...he's still out there."

"What do you mean? Who'-?" Axel released Larxene from the embrace and put his hands on her shoulders.

"Marluxia... I was promised myself I'd get rid of him after our plans had suceeded, but looks like that's not going to happen. Unlike going on a manslaughter like he wanted, I had a dream. A dream that's never going to be fufilled. I wanted my dream to come true so badly, that I risked my life. "

She stepped back from Axel. Her body was slowly deteriorating into the darkness. "Axel... Don't let your dreams take control of your life..."

Larxene was gone. Axel stood in silence for what seemed like forever.

"That's it? You're just letting it happen like this? You're not even going to try to save her?" a mysterious voice behind Axel muttered. "You used her, Axel. You let her go. She loved you... And you didn't even care!

Larxene practactally died for you!"

"What are you talking about, Demyx?" He didn't even turn around to face Demyx. He...couldn't.

"It was either you or her. You were Marluxia's first target. He was going to kill you before he killed anyone else. She lived for you! And you act like it was nothing."

"Shut up. Just shut up. You don't know anything."

Axel shoved Demyx away from the door and left. But when Axel walked past, Demyx noticed something slip down his cheek. Was it? Or wasn't it?
