Summary: Scully and Mulder are sent to Maryland to investigate the kidnapping of a married couple. But, they're in for a surprise when the psychopath takes special interest in them. He'll put them to the test, and find out how far they'll really go to save each other. MSR.
Flight: 417. Destination: Annapolis, Maryland.
"Mulder…Mulder wake up!" said Scully, shaking him gently awake.
"Wha…where am I?" Mulder slurred sleepily.
"You're on an airplane Mulder. Skinner sent us to Maryland to investigate the suspicious kidnapping of a married couple," replied Scully patiently.
Mulder rubbed the gunk out of his eyes wearily, "What time is it?" he wondered.
Scully glanced down at her watch, "It's 4:06 in the morning," she answered.
"But I don't wanna wake up Scully, I hardly slept a wink on this damn plane" he whined.
Scully leaned across and placed her hands on his shoulders, "There, is that helping at all?" she asked as she rubbed his shoulders.
"Oh…my…God, Scully have you ever considered being a masseuse?" Mulder said between rubs.
"No. But, I'm glad you like it Mulder," Scully smirked.

Scully leaned back in her chair as the plane descended, but Mulder hadn't heard the flight attendants warning.
The sunflower seeds flew out of his hand as his head slammed against the back of his seat with a thud.
"Dammit!" Mulder yelled loudly.
The people sitting around him shot him lethal glares. Scully smiled an apology and turned to face Mulder with a grin.
"Shh…" hushed Scully, "Mulder you're disturbing the other people on this plane," she said.
Mulder lifted his head and stared his dark-circled eyes towards her, "Scully, I haven't slept, I haven't eaten, and now I have a god damn headache!" he whispered angrily.
She couldn't help but laugh.
"Oh, so you think this is funny Scully?" he asked.
"No…well, you have to admit Mulder, it does seem like you're having a bad day!" she replied.
He grinned sarcastically and turned his head away as a smile escaped him. He didn't want her to see it.
The plane came to a halt on the ground, and the two federal agents walked down the stairs with their carry-on's; one smiling and one holding his throbbing head.
They walked in silence towards the rental car.
"Scully?" mumbled Mulder.
She turned around anxiously, "Yeah, Mulder?" she asked with concern.
"You're driving…"
