Five years ago, in Montana, I watched a plane crash
And I cried

Five years ago, in Montana, I watched a second plane crash
And I cried

Five years ago, in Montana, I realized that this was an attack
And I cried

Five years ago, in Montana, I watched a tower fall
And I cried

Five years ago, in Montana, I watched the second tower fall
And I cried

Five years ago, in Montana, I realized that my brother officers died
And I cried

One year ago, in New York, I saw the site in person
And I cried

This year, in New York, I stand in NYPD uniform to honor my brother officers
And I cried
