Meredith woke up to her two daughtesr sitting on her, staring at her. She blinked twice and sat up a little.

"We wanna see daddy at the hospital." Her oldest said bluntly.

"Ummm...o-okay why don't we go and get dressed and see if daddy can have lunch with us, okay?"

"Okay!" They said happily.

They both ran off to get dressed. She laughted a little since this was one of her days off and yet she was going to hang around the hospital. She had two more days off, Friday through Sunday. Dr. Webber and her came to an agreement. Well since he did owe her. But she understands why they want to see him, it was like when she was little her mother never being home. She understood. While she was lost in her thoughts her two girls ran up to her.

"We're ready!" Her oldest said happily.

"Uhhhh...okay...why don't you go brush your teeth, okay?"

They nodded and ran off. Her girls looked so like him. Her oldest, Anna, had his black wavy hair and his dimples, but her grey-blue eyes. Her youngest, Hallie, had her blond hair but his clear blue eyes and nose. She sighed and got up and got dressed she had a blue long sleeve shirt and some jeans, and head out of the master bedroom and to the kitchen. There were Anna and Hallie sitting at the kitchen table sitting and talking to each other. Meredith got the cereal out and poured it for them and for herself. After breakfast they got into her car and drove the very familiar road to the hospital. She passed her mom's house where Izzy, George, and Callie live. Even thought Derek and her bulit a house on his land she didn't want to sell the house or make them find a new place to live, so they still live there. She pulled up to the parking spot and got the girls out and head to the front of the hospital.

"Dr. Grey?" A famillar voice call to her.

"Dr. Baliey. How are you?" Meredith ask politey.

"This is your day off you know. As in you don't come here to this hospital." She said bluntly

"I know but the girls wanted to see there dad." Meredith explianed.

"Oh..I se-" Dr. Bailey was cut off by a tug at her lab coat."yes Miss Anna?"

"Is Will here today?" Anna asked.

"Yes, he is." Bailey said sweetly.

"Okay. Can I visit him?" The little girl asked.

"Sure you can if it's okay with your mom." She looked up at Meredith and she nodded. "Well then you can."

"Do you know if Derek has any surgeries today?" Meredith asked.

"Do you think I track your husband everywhere he goes. Check the board." With that she walked off with her charts.

Meredith took her girls hands and headed to the board, but before they got to the board, Anna left her mother's hand and ran towards her father. Meredith walked towards Derek and watched her daughter run towards him.

"Daddy!" Anna shouted as she ran down the hall.

Derek instinctively looked up to see his little girl. He smiled and walked towards her. It was like a miniature girl version of him, well, except for her eyes. Anna ran and jumped into her dad's arms. As soon as she jumped he dropped his chart and caught her. She giggled.

Addison watched this seen fold out. She smiled, but with a little saddness. She always hoped to have a moment with Derek like this. A small tear dropped down her face. She quickly dried her tears and she moved her hand down to her growing stomach. Her and Mark have been married for four years and they were having a baby boy that they dicided to name Sean.

"Hi daddy!" Anna said joyously as she hugged her favorite person.

"Hi pumpkin how are you?" Derek asked happily as he hugged her.

"Mommy, Hallie, and I wanted to see you!" She told him.

"Oh really? And where is mommy?" He asked as he kissed her on her head and put her down.

"She's over there." She said pointing to Meredith and Hallie walking up.

Anna walked over to her mom and sister and stood next to Hallie. Meredith hugged Derek and kissed him on his cheek. Hallie walked up to Derek and opened her arms for a hug. Derek hugged her almost squeezing her.

"Hi daddy." Hallie said through the hug.

"So what are you guys doin' here?" He wondered aloud.

"Well the girls wanted to see you, and see if you could have lunch with us. "She told him.

"Oh. Okay I just finished surgery so let me change and I'll meet you at the nurses desk. Okay?" He half asked and half stated.

"Okay we'll be there." Meredith agreed.

As Meredith and the girls headed towards the desk they ran into Addison.

"Oh...um...hi Dr. Montgomery. H-how are you?" Meredith stammered.

"I'm good, and how are you Dr. Grey." She asked coolly.

"I'm good. How's the baby?" Meredith asked trying very hard to make small talk with her husband's ex-wife. It was very uncomfortable. Well she had really no right to say that, because for Addison talking to the dirty ex-mistress who isn't the dirty ex-mistress but the woman who is married to her ex-husband is very that still qulified ask her to be the dirty ex-mistress that won. But what it sums up to be is she doesn't have the right to be uncomfortable.

"Oh he's good. Chief is making me go on leave soon though." Addison said uneasily.

"Oh..and how is Mark." She asked still having no right to be uncomfortable.

"He's good." She answered. Addison was about to say something but she was cut off by her pager. Addison said her goodbyes and walked away.

While all the very painful small talk was taking place, she didn't realize that Anna and Hallie wandered away somewhere. 'Great. Just great' She thought.'I have a 7 year old and a 4 year old wondering the halls of Seattle Grace. Great. Just great. She pondered where they could be and it hit her. The daycare center. She headed towards pedactrics and the neonatal wing. As she headed into the daycare she saw Izzy who now spends a lot of time there since she's in this wing most of the day. Now that she's working with Addison. Izzy turned arounded to see her friend standing there a little uneasy but okay.

"You know, you shouldn't let them just wander around the hospital like this. Not Mom Of the Year Award material." Izzy half joking and half serious.

"I couldn't help it I got caught up talking to Addison." She retorted.

"Okay well they're in there playing with Will. Well I'll see you later?" Izzy said walking away.

"Yeah. See ya later." Meredith replied.

Meredith walked over and got the girls go get lunch. As they walked back down to the desk the met a rather nervous Derek.

"Where have you guys been it's been ten minutes." Derek asked very concerned.

"Well..um...I was talking to Addison and well the girls walked off to the daycare to see Will. That's all." Meredith said calmly.

"Okay then...let's just go eat okay?" Derek said a little confused.

After buying their lunches the headed outside and sat a the nearest table. They all talked about their day and ate. Derek told the girls about his surgery. Derek was interupted by Mark and Addison.

"Can we join you?" Addison asked coolly.

"Uhh...sure." Meredith said while scooting over.

"Hi Auntie Addie." Anna greeted Addison.

"Hello Anna and how are you?" Addison asked sweetly?

"I'm good. I lost a tooth yesterday!" She said triumphantly and showing Addison where her tooth is missing.

"Oh wow very cool." Addison exclaimed. There was a long period of silence. Then Meredith broke the ice.

"So...um...Mark how are you?" She asked uneasily.

"I'm good and you?" He asked.

"Good. I'm good." She replied.

"And Derek how are you?" Mark asked coolly, as if nothing happened between them. No betryal. No being the dirty mistress. He didn't answer. Meredith hit him under the table and gave the look.

"Just fine." He answer coldly.

Anna and Hallie looked very very confused. They couldn't understand why their dad hated Mark. They also couldn't understand they never saw Mark when Addison came over.

"Well...uhh...Mark I think the Chief wanted to...um...see...you." Addison said.

"Yeah you're...I gotta go I'll see you later Addie." Mark said and kissing her on her head and walked away.
