Out Of The Desert

Please, now

I’m calling out to you

I’m sorry

I hadn’t meant for that to be my choice

It wasn’t my real will

Just a desire to fulfill

But it didn’t last

There’s no doubt of that

And now I’m back where I began

Please take me hand

And lead me through this desert land

It’s so dry

It’s cracking my insides

Please carry me

Till we reach high tides
