Author’s Note: This is dedicated to ketherandsandy4ever. I hope you enjoy it Amanda and everyone else. School is what is keeping me from updating my other stories. Boy is it hard to get on the computer. Anyway, please R&R. By the way, they’re ham-humans in this. This is my first oneshot.
Disclaimer: I don’t own any of the Hamtaro cast. Kether is owned by ketherandsandy4ever. Stitch Phantom owns Shadow. The only person I own is Blossom.
Movie Love
“Bijou, Pashmina, I don’t want to go to the movies tonight. Maybe tomorrow night, but not tonight,” Sandy whined.
“Come on, Sandy. Going to the movies will help you feel better,” Pashmina reassured her.
“But I’m not sad or mad. I just want to be left alone tonight.”
“Since Maxwell dumped you, doesn’t that make you feel sad and/or mad?”
“First of all, I dumped him. Second of all, it doesn’t bother me because that’s what he gets for caring more about books than me.”
“Whatever you say, Sands. She’s depressed.” Pashmina whispered the last sentence to Bijou so Sandy wouldn’t hear. They got to the movie theater and the first thing they noticed was that Hamtaro and Shadow were there too. Bijou ran over to Hamtaro and gave him a big hug. She almost knocked him over. Pashmina ran over to Shadow and kissed him hard on the lips, which he returned by kissing her hard back.
Oh great. Now I bet I’m going to have to sit through some romantic movie and either watch it or watch them all make out. Either way, I’m going to suffer. Sandy thought.
Unfortunately, for Sandy, she was right. The movie was a romantic drama/horror/comedy film. However, the main genre was romance. Sandy wasn’t even going to sit through the first few seconds of this. She was about to tell Bijou and Pashmina that she was going home, but saw that they were kind of busy and best left alone. (A/N: No I don’t mean busy busy. I mean that they were too busy kissing and that’s all. I would never make them do that in a movie theater.) So instead, she just left the theater but realized that it was too dark about for her to walk home by herself. Bad things do happen at night. She just decided to wait in the lobby until the movie was over. Not knowing how long the movie was, she asked the person behind the counter.
“Excuse me. How long does “The Loved and the Hated” last?” The person behind the counter was a girl with pink hair. It wasn’t bright pink but a nice shade for hair.
“I’m not sure. Let me ask. KETHER!” A guy came from the back. He had black hair and was wearing black make-up. I mean he had all the make-up: from eyeliner to lipstick.
“What do you want?”
“She wants to know how long does “The Loved and the Hated” last,” she responded, pointing to Sandy.
“It lasts for about two hours.”
“Two hours? I’m going to be stuck here forever and then I’m going to hear about it when it’s over.”
“Why? You don’t have a boy to watch it with? It’s mostly designed for couples, you know. I have someone to go with but he’s working and I’m working so it’s hard to find some free time. I can’t wait until we get to go,” Blossom said excitedly, especially the last part.
“How many times do I have to tell you that I don’t want to hear about your boyfriend?” Kether questioned angrily.
“Why not? Oh yea. I keep forgetting that you don’t like him because he’s tougher than you.”
“He is not. I don’t like him because he’s extremely cocky.”
“Whatever.” With that, Blossom walked away into the back.
“I can’t believe she accuses me of being jealous of her boyfriend,” Kether said to himself. “Why are you here by yourself?” He asked Sandy.
“Well, I was supposed to be here with my two best friends but then they ran into their boyfriends and went to see that movie. I wasn’t going to sit and be by myself, watching a movie that’s meant for couples.”
“How come you don’t have a boyfriend? You seem too pretty to me to not have a boyfriend.”
“Thanks. I had one but he didn’t really care for me that much so I broke up with him.”
“I can tell by looking at you that he made a big mistake. I’m sure that any guy who has you for a girlfriend would be the luckiest guy in the entire world.”
“You can tell that by just looking at me?”
“Yes I can. On the outside, you’re very pretty. I can tell that you’re modest which makes you look even prettier on the outside.” Sandy blushed a deep red at what he said. Kether blushed a deep crimson. He couldn’t believe what he just said to a complete stranger. After a moment of silence, Sandy broke it.
“How come you’re wearing make-up?”
“That’s quite a story, I’m sure you’d like to hear.” Kether explained his reason for make-up. Sandy talked about her friends and brother. Kether talked about his single status. Every topic led to another topic in some way. Before they realized it, two hours had gone by. Pashmina, Shadow, Bijou, and Hamtaro walked out of the movies.
“So, guys, how was the movie?” No one heard Sandy. They just kept looking at each other in deep trances. Sandy shook her head. “I guess I better get going before they leave me,” she stated to Kether.
“I guess you better.”
“Let me see your hand.”
“Why?”
“Just let see it.” She took out a pen and he gave her his hand. She started writing something on his hand. (A/N: Can you guess what she wrote?) When she finished, Kether looked at his hand then looked at Sandy, with a smile on his face.
“Call me,” she whispered with a wink and left the theater. Kether just kept looking at his hand.
“I thought you said that you weren’t dating anymore after you-know-who.” Kether spun around to find Blossom staring at him.
“I thought I was done dating too but there’s something about her that attracts me to her. I’m not sure what it is but it’s definitely something strong.”
“Welcome to the club,” she said while patting his shoulder. They went back to work.
A/N: How did everyone enjoy it? I hope you liked it, Amanda. I hope I used Kether right. Anyway, tell me what you all think about my first oneshot. –AA1 (AmyAddict1)
