Van x Merle! I watched Escaflowne like 6 or 5 years ago, and I remember maximum 6 characters- Merle isn't exactly one of my favourites; but she is one of the two female characters whose names I know (the other one is Hitomi, but Van x Hitomi is just eughhh )
