During missions I can see your eyes. The same color as my enemies as their blood flows out. And just as lifeless.
When it’s dark out I can see your hair. Black strands of shadows. Moving only when the moon shines down on it.
When the wind blows I feel your touch. Sometimes light an unnoticeable. Sometimes it feels hard and fast. Cutting threw me. Making me tear. It’s always cold.
When the wind blows hard enough, I can hear you whisper.
As lightning strikes down on the ground and leaves an intense burn mark on the earth, I think of you. Your speed and blinding power. Leavening all your opponents scarred.
I wonder… when do you see me?
Still looking up, I would see the different shades of blue. Whether they were cloudy or clear. I knew what you were feeling.
Village after village. I heard your voice in the sounds of children laughing, cheerfully. What used to bring me disgust would now bring me joy, as I’d know that you are laughing along with them.
When it rains… I see you tears. It beats own on me like the sinking feeling when I would see you cry for me. For him. For everyone. Everyone but yourself.
The feeling of grass feels so much like you; soft and luxurious. Almost like silk.
Only then I’d realize you feel so much better.
“Itachi…!”
Both their hearts beat faster as their eyes clashed. Others moved away in seeing the dark cloak with red striped clouds. Naruto stood still as he peered into the seemingly endless orbs.
They both didn’t see the Shinobi around them. Circling around the two others that were still in their place. Their weapons ready and out, the hand seals being made.
“Say goodbye.” Itachi said as he grabbed hold of Naruto and transported them outside the skirts of Kohona. The only thing left from the two was Shodaime’s necklace and the Akatsuki coat left in a pile on the ground.
Beta anyone???
This doesn’t have a beta either, but I did edit some of the obvious mistakes.
