Hmm, as for pairings. I’m not too sure yet. But it will be yaoi. A few guys want to be with Naruto, but in the end, it’ll be one pairing.

Summary: When Naruto is thrust into another world, where he’s the hero Yondaime wanted him to be, he’s happy. But when he finds out the darker things in this world, all he wants to do is go home. And what's up with Sasuke in this world? Yaoi

“Itai, my head, oh man, why does it feel like I fell off of a cliff?” Naruto groaned as he slowly opened his eyes. At first, everything was extremely blurry, and the world seemed to be spinning around and around, causing Naruto to close his eyes again. He felt really nauseous, and opening his eyes certainly didn’t help, in fact, it made it worse. So, he decided he’d keep them closed for a little while, waiting for the nausea to end. Which he hoped would be very soon, because he hated this feeling.

“Hey! He’s awake! Naruto, how do you feel?” A person asked. And Naruto recognized the voice very well, it was Sakura’s voice! Slowly, he opened his eyes once again, and felt someone’s hands at his back, helping him sit up.

“Sa…Sakura-chan? What happened? Why do I feel so dizzy and nauseous? And why does it feel like I fell off of a cliff?” Naruto asked, his vision finally cleared up, and he opened his eyes completely. Looking around quickly, he immediately realized that he was in the hospital. Hmm, maybe he did fall off of a cliff.

“I’m, not completely sure Naruto. I was actually going to ask you. Kakashi-sensei said you were in the forest, training, and then there was suddenly a bright red light, and you came crashing down to the ground. You passed out.”

“Kakashi-sensei? Oh, yeah. I was training with him and Yamato-taichou.” Naruto responded, rubbing his eyes.

“Naruto, what are you talking about? Who’s Yamato?” Sakura asked, confused.

“I think he may have hit his head or something, he fell from high up in the ground.” Kakashi said.

“Eh? No, no, no! Come on sensei! You were training me with Yamato-taichou, so I can get strong to go and save Sasuke!” Naruto said, and both Kakashi and Sakura gasped.

“Save Sasuke? Why in the world would you want to do that Naruto?!” Sakura asked, her voice seemed as if it were laced with fear. But no, it couldn’t be, why would Sakura be afraid of Sasuke?

“And how do you know who Yamato is?” Kakashi asked.

“Wh…what’s wrong with you!? Why wouldn’t I want to save him? He’s my best friend!” Naruto said, feeling offended. How could Sakura talk like that, after everything they’ve been through! She had wanted to get Sasuke back just as much as Naruto did. And now, she was being a hypocrite, saying she didn’t want to get Sasuke back.

“Best friend? How could you say that Naruto? After everything he did? He hasn’t even been in the village for a long time.” Kakashi said.

“I know that! Do you think I’m stupid? Come on! What’s wrong with you two? You’re acting weird.” Naruto said.

“No Naruto, it’s you who’s acting weird.” Kakashi said, sighing. He stood up and walked over to Naruto, and sat on the bed next to him. He placed a hand on Naruto’s forehead, in order to check his temperature. Naruto squirmed slightly, not used to the fact that his sensei was touching him like this. After a few moments, Kakashi pulled his hand back.

“You do have a slight fever, and you are flushed a bit. Maybe you just need some rest. I’ll have Kabuto check you in a little while.” Kakashi said as he stood up, and made his way to the door.

“What?! Kabuto, why would I want him to check on me!?” Naruto asked, shocked.

“Why not? He is the Hokage’s subordinate, and son after all.” Kakashi said as he left the room.

“What?! NO! How? I don’t…I don’t understand! Sakura-chan, what’s going on? Who’s the Hokage, where’s Sasuke?!” Naruto asked. He had no clue what was going on. And he had no clue why Kakashi and Sakura were acting the way they were.

“The Hokage? It’s Tsunade. Come on Naruto, you already know that. About Sasuke, you know that too.”

“No, I don’t! Where is he? What’s going on?” Naruto asked. Sakura was about to open her mouth to speak, but suddenly, someone ran into the room.

“Naruto-kun, you’re ok! I was so worried about you.” The person said as he walked up to Naruto and hugged him, causing Naruto to widen his eyes and let out a squeak. Why in the world was this person hugging him?

“Uh, Sai…heh, are you ok?” Naruto asked as Sai pulled back.

“Of course. It’s you who isn’t. You’ve been out for four days!” Sai said as he took a seat in Naruto’s bed. He grabbed Naruto’s hand and caressed it gently with his thumb. This really freaked Naruto out.

“Uh, Sai, what are you doing?” Naruto asked as he looked down at Sai’s hand. He hadn’t really heard anything that Sai had said, because he was concentrating on what Sai was doing.

“Hmm?”

“Sai, leave him alone, I’m sure the last thing Naruto wants right now is you harassing him.” Sakura said.

“Awww, but it’s so much fun!” Sai said as he leaned forward and kissed Naruto on the lips ever so gently, before pulling back and leaving the room, leaving Naruto stunned.

“Naruto, are you ok?”

“GAH!!!!!”

“Naruto! Calm down! He just kissed you! I know he does it all the time, and I know you don’t really like him like that, but don’t overreact, ok?” Sakura asked, rushing over to him.

“What did you say?” Naruto asked, not believing what he had heard.

“You heard me Naruto…”

“WHAHA! What’s wrong? Nothing’s right Sakura-chan! There’s something wrong about all this! And I know it’s not amnesia!” Naruto said, grabbing his head. He wanted everything to be back to normal again!

“Naruto, I’m not sure. But, I think I have some sort of idea. But I need to go to the library to check up on it first. I’ll be back in a little while. Will you be ok?” Sakura asked as she stood up.

“Yeah, I’ll be fine. Thanks.”

“Oh man. Something weird is going on. I don’t like this! I don’t like this at all. It’s as if I’m dreaming or something! Ahh! I don’t remember Sai ever kissing me…or Kakashi-sensei touching me like that. And how can Kabuto be Tsunade’s son? And what’s up with Sasuke? Why don’t Sakura-chan and Kakashi-sensei want to rescue him anymore? And how come Sakura-chan doesn’t know who Yamato is? AHAHA!” Naruto groaned and took his head into his hands. He was getting a headache from all the stress.

“Talking to yourself Naruto-kun?” Kabuto asked playfully as he entered the room. He walked over to Naruto slowly.

“You! What are you doing here?!” Naruto asked, pointing an accusing finger at Kabuto, who looked at him strangely.

“I’m checking to see if you’re ok.” Kabuto answered.

“That’s not what I mean! Why aren’t you with snake-bastard?!” Naruto asked.

“Snake-bastard? Who are you talking about?” Kabuto asked, thoroughly confused.

“Orochimaru of course!” Naruto answered as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

“Why in the world would I be with him Naruto? He left the village years ago!” Kabuto said, surprised that Naruto would even ask such a thing.

“I know that baka! But you’re supposed to be with him! Not Tsunade!” Naruto responded, folding his arms and puffing his cheeks in a childlike way. He was angry that everyone was acting weird, and not listening to him. Instead, they all said he had amnesia, and Naruto knew for a fact, that he didn’t have amnesia!

“Naruto-kun, I think you may have amnesia. Maybe you should rest a little longer.” Kabuto said, pushing Naruto down so he could lie on the bed.

“NO! I don’t have amnesia! Why won’t anyone listen to me? Why is everyone acting so weird?” Naruto asked, he felt like crying because no one would listen to him, and they all dubbed him to be crazy.

“I am listening Naruto-kun, but you aren’t making any sense.”

“Yes am I! It’s all of you who aren’t making sense! I know! It’s a dream! Only a dream!” Naruto said, and Kabuto pinched him on the left forearm, hard.

“ITAI! What the hell was that for?” Naruto asked, rubbing his abused arm in exaggeration.

“Well, you can feel pain, so this is a reality.” Kabuto said.

“Then, well, I…damn it! Where’s Ero-sennin? Maybe he’ll know what’s going on.” Naruto said matter-of-factly.

“Ero-sennin?” Kabuto asked, confused. Naruto sure had interesting nicknames for people. But ero-sennin? Who could that be?

“Jiraiya!” Naruto yelled out as if it was the most obvious thing in the world, and Kabuto frowned sadly.

“Naruto-kun, Jiraiya died three years ago.”

Heh, and that's only the beginning of the many things that are different in this world. Poor Naruto will go through so much. I have so many twists and turns in this. Heh.
