(A/N: Because they way that they portray getting hit with a Thunderbolt time and again with little to no lasting effects in the anime really pisses me off. Triple drabble; 300 words exact.)
Team Rocket were the bad guys; that's how it had always been. And to Satoshi, it seemed like it would be this way for the rest of his life at this rate…
"Prepare for trouble!"
"And make it double!"
Satoshi growled lowly under his breath in frustration. It had been over six years since he had first encountered Team Rocket, and yet they were still trailing him, causing trouble and trying to steal his Pikachu.
Well, he was about sick of it.
"Pikachu, give 'em a full-force Thunderbolt!"
The small yellow Pokémon, trusting his trainer to a fault, let out all its electric power upon Kojiro, Musashi, and Meowth.
The screams that came from the three as the bright flash of lightning hit them were nothing that Satoshi and his companions hadn't heard before when it came to defeating Team Rocket.
But in truth they weren't- this time they were the screams of someone who was in agonizing pain.
Takeshi yelled for Satoshi to stop his Pokémon; the Pewter City gym leader knew that Pikachu was doing lethal harm. Pikachu's Thunderbolt ceased at Satoshi's reluctant command.
He was just making sure that Team Rocket got the message that he was sick of being trailed and bothered; so what if he had made Pikachu go a bit harder on them than before?
What he didn't realize was that a full-force Thunderbolt from a level ninety or so Pikachu, was the equivalent of frying someone in an electric chair submerged in salt water after more than ten seconds of exposure…
There wouldn't be a "blasting off again" this time.
For Satoshi, this had always been a fact.
But if they were the villains… then what did that make him?
