Friends

No Monk-ing Around!

A/N: Wow, is this REALLY the first pre-iceburg out there? I hope not...That'd break my "Nothing-I-Do-Is-Original" role. Anywho, I didn't get enough reveiws, so lets do this again!

Somehow, the two boys had gotten Aang out of his room without being caught. Now came getting him off the mountain. Yay. Aang couldn't wait till his bison, now named Appa, was big enough to ride. But that'd still be a couple years.

"Aang, will you quit daydreaming and help me?" Bumi waved a hand in front of his face. "You still alive buddy?"

Aang blinked and looked from an annoyed Bumi to an amused Kuzon. "Oh. Heheh, sorry."

"Thinking about your girlfriend?" Bumi teased.

Kuzon rolled his eyes. "Okay you two, can we go before your big mouths wake the whole temple?"

After much tiptoeing and ducking around corners, they were out. Between Bumi and Aang, they were able to get down the mountian faster than if they'd walked.

"Nice glider." Kuzon commented as they touched down. The Fire Nation boy looked the glider over as it changed back into a staff. He grinned mischieviously.

"Don't even think about it, Kuzon." Aang monotoned. He knew his friend enough to know that that look was bad. "Now lets go. Bumi, have you remembered where Nimune said she'd meet us?"

"Uhhh..." The Earthbender blinked. "If I said no, would you be mad?"

Kuzon shook his head as Aang sighed. "Bumi, you're terrible."

"Thank you!" He beamed. Both of the other boys laughed. "I remember something about a tree..."

"Wow, that helps." Aang mumbled. "Only about a million of them around here."

"Okay, you two behave." Kuzon cut in before Bumi could snap back. "Lets just go."

"Fine." The other boys grumbled in unison. Kuzon rolled his eyes again.

"Which way?" Aang asked, looking around.

Bumi shrugged. "I'm all for closing our eyes, spinning around a few times, then running as fast as we can."

Kuzon blinked. "Remind me why I'm friends with you?" In responce, Bumi 'bended a rock over his head and dropped it. "Hey!"

Aang was almost falling over laughing. "You two- hahaha- are so -hahahaha-rediculus!"

The two stopped arguing long enough to look at Aang like he'd grown another head. "Yeah well...you're bald!" Bumi shot back.

Kuzon smirked. "Ohh, nice one." His sarcasm wasn't lost on the Earthbender.

"Guys!" Aang half-whined. "Let's go!"

Shrugging, they just stood there for a second before Bumi asked. "Go where?"

Kuzon smacked himself on the forehead. "That wouldn't be an issue if you'd have remembered the message."

"Of course I remember! She said to meet her by the old tree by that pond she likes so much." He smirked.

Aang just stared at him blankly. "And you didn't tell us this before, why?"

"Didn't want to."

Aang and Kuzon shared a look then sighed

Aang had decided a long time ago his friends were insane.
