Chapter 1
It was a dark and stormy night. Lighting flashed in the sky illuminating a large two story house. It was an odd place for a house, being out in the middle of no where. The second floor window was lit. Inside sat a man all in black. He looked very young, hardly past the age of twenty. He was sitting in a large chair reading a sports magazine. The corner of it dipped down and you could see the Glamour logo. Yes he was sexy and masculine enough to read Glamour, but he did hide the fact that he read it. Not like anyone could see him way out there in the middle of Texas.
This man’s name was Murtagh. Yes he was the same Murtagh that was featured in the Inheritance books. He personally hated the books because they did not tell the true story. The fact was Galbatorix and the Varden got along great. A kid named Eragon never exited and Arya was a butt ugly witch. Murtagh has moved to Texas after the death of his father, Morzen, whom he loved dearly. Thorn went with him but was soon to big to hide even in the Middle of No Where Texas. So Thorn moved the Scotland. He lived near a lake named Loch Ness. He had been seen a couple times and photographed, but no one believed he was there.
Anyway, Murtagh was reading the article that featured the top ten most sliming jeans when the power suddenly went out. He looked up at the sky and scowled. He hated storms when they knocked out his power. He sighed and got up to find a flashlight and wait out the power outage.
Meanwhile, down near the fuse box, a girl wearing a Darth Vader mask cackled manically before going to join her sisterhood at the back sliding glass door. As she approached so saw three other girls. They were all wearing black cloaks
“All systems breath go.” She told them.
One of them, a blonde, nodded and slid the door open. She entered. The girls followed. The came and stood at the kitchen door, black cloaked terrors. Murtagh was going through a kitchen cabinet muttering to himself. He had not seen them. They stood starring drool running down their chins. One girl, with black eyes, looked around. Her eyes landed on a large frying pan lying near by. She silently grabbed at and snuck up behind the object of her affection.
“Bang,” the frying pan hit his head, “Thump.” He fell un-conscious to the floor.
“He better not be dead, Dragonflame.” The blonde said coming to stand next to her team mate.
“And risk being banned and tortured, Arthryn?”
“Now all we need is to drag him out. Help me, Mindi.”
The girl in the Darth Vader mask nodded, “Sure DuSeithrArget, breath do you mind if I call you Sophie?”
“Nah, it’s easier for Dragonflame to spell anyway.”
The two girls bent down. Mindi grabbed his arms and Sophia is legs.
Arthryn was babbling, “I can’t wait. The leather, the chains, the screams, the-”
“This is PG-13,” Dragonflame interrupted, “We should hurry.”
The girls nodded and lifted. Suddenly the front door was thrown open and a male voice was heard, “Is anyone here?”
“Damn it! It’s them.” Arthryn gasped.
“We should get out of here,” Sophie prompted, “Lift, Mindi.”
“We don’t have time,” Dragonflame interrupted, “We’ll come back for him.”
With a sad sigh the two girl released him.
“Hurry.” Dragonflame hissed. They exited the way they came, getting lost in the shadows just as two boys ran into the kitchen.
“They were here, Sly.” Ominous music began playing in the background. It sounded like the Darth Vader theme. The boy looked on the counter so see a book box. He pushed the stop button and the music stopped. “Mindi.” He muttered.
Sly was inspecting Murtagh’s body for any fatal wounds. “They knocked him out,” he saw the frying pan, “with this.”
“They’re mad!”
“Yes, codeman we have established that already. Now find some water and throw it on him. I’ll try to get the power on again.” With that Sly left the check the fuse box. Codeman was searching the cupboards for a cup when the power flipped back on. Another boy came into the kitchen. He glanced at Murtagh, then the frying pan and shuddered.
“Hey, Du, help me find a cup.”
Du opened the cupboard next to him and pulled one out. Sly returned just as they threw the water on Murtagh.
He sat up coughing and sputtering. He looked at the two worried faces starring at him, “Are you ok?” Codeman asked.
“Yeah. What happened?”
“They came.” Sly said.
“They?”
“No, They. Italicized.” Du said.
“Ok. Who are They.”
“They, are your fan girls. Devoted to you.” Codeman answered for his friend.
“Huh?”
“They’re from the fan club of SF3. Their leader is named Dragonflame05, but we call her Dragonflame or DF.” Sly explained
“She’s the leader.”
“Well she really answers to Arthryn who is twice as evil as she is.” Du answered
“They have a fan club.”
Sly nodded, “Do you have a computer?”
“Upstairs.”
“C’mon then.”
They went upstairs and Codeman logged into SF3. There was silence as Murtagh skimed the 30+ pages. After a while, “Leather, huh.”
“Yup.” All three boys said.
“Who are you, guys anyway?”
“I am Du Hljodhr Elbrithil, but most people call me Du. He is codeman and the other is Slyfearus, but we call him Sly.”
“Why are you here?”
“To protect you from, Them.” Sly said.
Murtagh nodded, “Do you think I will need it?”
“You don’t know Them. They will be back.” Codeman told him.
“How many are there?” Murtagh asked.
“As far as we know there is: DF, Arthryn, Mindi, Sophie, and MurtaghRider.”
Murtagh gasped.
“Don’t worry we have established her name does not mean that…we think.”
Murtagh gulped. “Anyone else?”
“There might be two girls named Shadow and EL, but we are not sure. Nor do we know how many will be recruited before this is over.”
Now, Urgals did not scare Murtagh, nor did Shades and Dragons, but crazed fan girls were a different story. He needed help and he knew it, but he ventured the comment, “You’re out numbered.”
Du looked grim, “I know. Feanor refuses to help, but we hope he will come around. Hopefully there are others who share our cause.”
Murtagh nodded, “So does your group have a name.”
The three boys paused. “Murtagh Boys?” Sly asked.
“Sounds gay.” Codeman said.
“Yeah I know.”
Silence.
“The Tremendous Trio?” Du asked.
“What is this a Lemony Snicket book?” Sly snapped.
Silence.
“Let’s not decide on a name right now,” Du finally said.
“Now we have to safe proof the house. We don’t want Them getting in.” Sly added.
As for those who get it. Arthryn, Mindi, Sophie, Murtaghrider, Du, Sly and Codeman, don't forget to drop a review with ideas. They some how need to get into the house and They some how need to kidnapp Murtagh with out getting caught by the unamed. I hope you all like. Don't let me abandon it.
