Chapter 13

It’s November before the wedding, the red and black rangers have been busy planning their wedding.

“Okay it’s settled then, V will be the Maid of Honor and Xander is Nick’s best man” said Chip.

“And Daggeron is giving the bride away” said Madi.

“Yea, since my real father, of course, isn’t here. And Daggeron treated me like I was his daughter.” said Katie.

“So do you have any idea of how you want your bouquets?” asked Madi

Katie thought for a moment then replied “Sort of, I want the rose Nick gave me in the center.”

“You mean it’s still alive?” asked Xander

“Yea I put an everlasting spell on it, a plant only spell.” replied Nick. “With Dad’s help of course.”

An hour passed and Katie was hanging out with V, Madi, Leelee, and Clare in town. They were in the park discussing what Katie’s dress should look like.

“Maybe you could use the dress you wore to the party.” suggested Clare. “I sure it could be magically turned white.”

“No, I want a different dress, something unique” replied Katie “If possible maybe something oriental.”

“Like a kimono?” asked Leelee.

“Something like that.” said Katie

“I think I saw a dress around what you’re looking for at the dress shop.” said Leelee.

“Really, let’s go”

The five girls walked over to Katie’s car and got in. About ten minuets later they pulled up in front of the dress store. They walked in and went over to the sales woman.

“Excuse me” said Katie

“Yes, how may I help you” asked the sales woman with a kind smile.

“My friend said you had a kimono style dress here. I was wondering if you still had it?” replied Katie.

“Yes we do, you are the first person that has asked about it.” said the sales woman. “I’ll go get it”

She walked off then returned with a covered dress.

“You can try it on in there” she stated as she pointed to the dressing rooms.

Katie nodded and took the kimono in to the dressing rooms. She came out a little while later and looked at herself in the mirrors.

“Kawaii” she exclaimed (cute in Japanese)

The kimono was white with silver trim around the sleeves, the “y” opening and the bottom. A gold under dress and obi (sash). On the skirt there were silver cherry blossoms.

“That is so cute” exclaimed Madi and Leelee

“It’s sold” said Katie.
