A/N: Yes, your right I should be working on my other story, but at the time my brain is dead, well when it comes to Meant to Live. I had meant to post this some time ago and I just remembered and decided to type it up now. However, I had planned on making this a really long one-shot, max of twenty pages, but I decided against it. So here you have it...
A/N2: You will notice mistakes, that’s because I’M IN NEED OF A BETA! MY old beta can’t help me since she is too caught up with her last year of high-school...yeah pretty hectic, especially with required collage work.

...!!!!Chapter 1: Summer Night!!!!...
Every year, during the last days of August the civilians of Konoha gathered at the Town Square to celebrate the approaching end of summer. Children ran around the streets chasing after alley cats while beautiful young ladies parade around the streets accompanied by their escorts; fathers or ladies-in-waiting. Luminous lights surrounded the Town Square engulfing the dark that shielded the moon. The town’s orchestra played fascinating melodies that occasionally blended with the light summer breeze which smelled of lavender. Flowers neatly decorated the town, bringing smiles to the elderly woman who appreciated such beauty. People strolled around open shops or tables that sold all sorts of luxury. The ladies were deeply fond of the jewelries that their companions bought for them. The best jewelry is put in display during this time of year. Towards midnight artificial lights brightened the sky signaling the festivities were approaching its end.
The following day the streets were deserted. Everyone who attended the previous night’s festival remained at home resting. The weather was excruciating which also added to the deserted atmosphere. It wasn’t until past noon when the sun started to set and the clouds changed the scenery that people started to leave their homes to make up for the silent morning, which was very strange in a town like Konoha.
Konoha is a very vibrant city. Be it night or day, people roomed the streets admiring the opens shops, posts or ran their daily errands. Young lads ran about without a care of the world while their mother tried as best as they could to keep an eye on them and complete their errands. During the nights even though the noise was reduce it was still vibrant.
Tonight wasn’t any different from any other night. The same three souls that roamed about each night were present at the usual gathering. In the east, past the forest and near the river banks sat a girl in her late teens. Pink strands of hair which lay past her shoulder swayed randomly with the light breeze that prickled her soft creamy skin. Her green eyes stared into the water that glittered under the moon. She thought of random thoughts, thoughts she was afraid of for her near future.
She would have to marry for the sake of wealth and public affairs. She would have to marry an old man whom her father thought eligible enough for his only daughter, a man that would take her away from her home land and her people. A man that could do what he pleased because she would be his, a mere object to satisfy her father and her husband’s needs.
She also thought of what to say when the occasion required for her to speak. After and hour of thoughts she was disturbed by ruffling of cloth. When she looked behind her, all the thoughts evaporated as she laid eyes on the man who was changing into his attire. After the activities which partook several hours ago, he had lain with her in his arms until she walked near the water. This wasn’t any different from previous nights.
Calloused fingers brushed pink strands of hair away from her face, the touch sending jolts of excitement down her spine while the man bent down for a brief kiss. When he was seated comfortably next to her he handed her the white undergarments that weren’t required during their activities. She took the fabric out of his hands and slipped them on and after a few moments she faced him.
His features fascinated her greatly. She could never resist the energy to just sit there and look at the man that has held her mind, body and soul captive. His black hair swayed lightly with the breeze. His expression was blank and his obsidian eyes stared into the water. They looked distant but yet she could see a flicker of sadness.
She took the liberty to let her eyes room past his perfect face and to his torso, which was visible since he hadn’t buttoned his shirt. He was well defined with the right amount of muscles in the right amount of places. Small beads of sweat rolled of down his chest and she instantly flushed at the memory that graced her eyes. This didn’t go unnoticed by him and he smirked at her antiques. He barely smiles but she knew that when he did it was meant for her. The only thing that would ever grace his perfect lips was a knowing smirk. That undeniable smirk she knew too well.
“What’s on your mind?” His voice reeked of authority, yet smooth and deep.
“.” She stared into his dark pools and wondered weather the flicker of sadness was because they’d have to part soon. Without a response he leaned into her and kissed her passionately, bringing her out of all thoughts but making her mind fuzzy with the heated kiss.
“What’s on your mind?”
“Nothing,” she meekly replied. She then turned from him got up and headed towards where her dress laid. He looked at her as she dressed into her light blue garments; it was a simple dress unlike her other elegant dresses. He got up and started to approach her, but stopped as he heard foot steps approaching their location.
“Mistress, I don’t mean to disturb you...but it’s getting late and we need to head back before the guards make their nightly inspection and notice that we are not there.”
“Yes Akina, give me a few moments. I’ll be with you shortly.”
The figure which had steeped from out of the bushes quickly disappeared and went to wait for her Mistress at her usual location. Amy was the Mistress’ private maid. She is the same age as her Mistress and is very loyal to her. Ever since this nightly routine started she has helped her Mistress escape the confines of her home to meet with her heart’s desire. The Mistress confines greatly in Akina, because if it weren’t for her she wouldn’t be able to meet with her love.
The man approached the girl’s turned figure from behind; once he had her encased in his strong arms he nuzzled her neck inhaling her strawberry scent. “I won’t be able to make it tomorrow night. I have to attend some business your father has asked me to do.” She went rigid in his arms. The thought of not seeing him was an unbearable one. Whenever her father requested for him to attend to any sort of business he was gone for quite some time, and during those days he spent away the ache in her heart and body would intensify each night for him.
He then turned her in his arms so she could face him. “I’ll be leaving tomorrow before dawn and won’t be back until two days timed, unless unexpected inconvenience.”
She didn’t say anything; she only nodded her head in response. She knew that if she spoke her voice would betray the composed image she was. She didn’t want him to leave, even if it was for two days. He was the only one who could make her forget about her impending future, even if it was for a couple of hours. During those hours they forgot about the rest of the world and the harsh reality of life. The only thing on their mind was the other.
She was disturbed from her trance upon feeling smooth lips on her and gentle fingers in her hair. The lips over hers coaxed her to give his tongue access to her mouth. Obliging she let him taste her as she did him. She let his expertise dominate her like any other time.
Wanting to stand as humanly possible to him she pushed against him, her breast crushing to his chest. Her hands glided from his chests to wrap around his neck as she let him angle their faces to deepen the kiss. In return she kissed him with the entire ardor she held for him. They stood there against each other, their fingers running through the others hair and their tongues swirling and caressing the other.
She was the first to break the kiss. Closing her eyes with a few centimeters of distance between their lips, she leaned her forehead against his savoring their closeness and breathing in his air. He gazed at her through half-lidded eyes. Her angelic face radiated serenity, longing and contentment. He was glad that he was the cause of those radiations, because she had done the same to him. She had showed him that there was more than loathing, loneliness, and work. She had been his light and he’s not willing to let her go. With one last look at her face he sought her pink lips in a chaste kiss before hugging her to him.
“We must go. Akina must bring you home before anyone notices that you’re gone, while I must ensure that I have everything needed for your father’s business.
“You’re right and besides we’ve had poor Akina waiting on us for quite some time.” He smiled and nodded at her, but his smile faltered as he saw the saddened expression on her face. “I promise I won’t take to long.”
“I know.” With another kiss she helped him button his shirt and once done he went to retrieve the rest of their belongings.
When both looked modest enough, he took her hands in his and walked her to Akina. Along the way she couldn’t stop thinking of whether telling him the news now or wait for a better occasion. When they reached the big rock near the small path towards the exit, he turned her to him and with another passionate kiss he let her hand go. “Be good.” He smirked knowing this would be a hard task for her.
“I’ll try.” She looked at his obsidian eyes and then his smirk. Before turning to Amy who stood by her side she gave him a chaste kiss. With a few paces she asked, “Two days timed, Sasuke?”
“Hai, Blossom.”
There, I got this out of my system. I was planning to write this right after my first story, but I had forgotten. This came from my original story which I had been working on two summers ago but never got passed chapter one. With slight modifications I have this. I am looking forward to this story. Now...I can’t promise the next chapter will be out quickly because I am debating between two ideas. THANKS FOR READING AND COMPLETE THE REST BY
