Spring Fever

Ages: Ash-13/15, Misty-13/15, Brock-20/22 Team Rocket-20/22
Summary: Ash has received four Johto Badges so far. Him, Misty, and Brock are on their to Cianwood City aboard a ferry since Cianwood is Southwest across the sea from Olivine. They also need to get medicine for the Ampharos in the lighthouse. Ash and Misty are having a squabble the first one in a long time since they battled over Totodile. When things get drastic causing Misty to get lost in Cianwood City and eventually gets caught. Misty is taken to Cianwood City Team Rocket Headquarters where she is kept for two years. About one month after being captured, she gets tired of the cell and decides to join Team Rocket to get back at Ash by stealing his next precious possession(Besides her as a best friend which she doesn't know). Spring Fever does some strange things. Will Ash be able to get his best non-pokemon friend back and confess how he feels or is it too late for Misty. To find out read the story.
"The only reason that you got the Fog Badge is because Morty took pity on you." Misty said to Ash.
"HE DID NOT I WON FAIR AND SQUARE!" Ash screamed.
"IF I WASN'T THERE CHEERING YOU ON YOU WOULD HAVE LOST AND YOU KNOW IT!" Misty screamed back.
"WOULD TOO HAVE WON!" Ash screamed. "WOULD NOT!" Misty screamed back. "WOULD TOO!" Ash yelled. "NOT" Misty said. "TOO!" Ash screamed back. "NOT!" Misty screamed.
"DO YOU TWO HAVE TO FIGHT, I MEAN FLIRT ALL THE TIME!" Brock asked.
"WE ARE NOT FLIRTING BROCK!" Ash and Misty said in unison.
"It looks like it to me. Will you two lovebirds go make-out somewhere?" Brock asked, which was an extremely bad idea, for right then Brock was whacked on the head by two mallets. One of the mallets was from Ash and the other was from Misty. This resulted in two bumps on his head, knocking him out.
Our heroes have now arrived in Cianwood City and Ash and Misty are still fighting... I mean flirting. "
YOU WOULD NOT HAVE WON WITHOUT ME!" Misty said.
"I WOULD TOO HAVE WON WITHOUT YOU! WHY ARE YOU STILL FOLLOWING ME MISTY WILLIAMS? I PAID YOU BACK FOR THE BIKE THAT I DESTROYED WHY DON'T YOU JUST GET LOST!" Ash screamed he couldn't believe what he said. He just told Misty to get lost. He wished he wouldn't have because he loved her.
"WELL FINE THEN ASH KETCHUM! I WILL GET LOST GOODBYE AND GOOD RIDDANCE! COME ON TOGEPI!" Misty said as she picked up Togepi and ran away and started crying.
The reason she did so is because she was shocked at what he said.
She loved him but didn't think that he felt the same way so she ran away and sure enough she got lost.
Team Rocket then spotted Misty.
"Hey look guys that goil is lost with Togepi and the other twoips are nowhere in sight. Let's capture her." Meowth said.
"Not only that Meowth, she is crying. Her and that Hat-haired twerp must have had a major fight." Jessie said.
"If that is so, then she will be to weak to battle us." James said.
"Meowth, Precisely." Meowth said.
"I can't believe Ash said that and before I could even tell him how I felt. Oh well I guess it just wasn't meant to be." Misty said as she continued crying.
"Why Pikachu? Why did I say those things to Misty? I was so stupid!" Ash said to his very first Pokemon.
"Pi Pikachu Pika Pikachu. Pikachu shrugged.
"I do Love her Pikachu. She was right, though I may have earned that badge with my skill, I could not make it this far without her cheering me on. I can't get that badge without her. The reason I said what I said is because I was so mad at her for saying that the Gym Leader gave me the Badge out of pity that I just blew up on her without thinking." Ash said.
"Hey Meowth give me back my Togepi!" Misty screamed.
"He's my Togepi now, but you can have him back if you come with us Meowth." Meowth said.
"I will not come with you! Get lost!" Misty said.
"I'm afraid we can't do that red Arbok go use Glare on the girl." Jessie said.
Arbok did so paralyzing her. Team Rocket then took her to Cianwood Team Rocket Headquarters gave her paralyze heal and put her in a cell. Day after day past. Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into a month. Team Rocket kept on trying to convince her to join them to get revenge on Ash but she would not join.
She wouldn't join until Jessie came back a month after she was put in a cell with an irresistable offer.
"Ash, Ash Ketchum. Okay you win I will join you." Misty said.
"I knew you would see it my way eventually." Jessie cackled.
"Of course you do have to go through one year and eleven months of training now." James pointed out right before him and Jessie introduced Misty to Giovanni.
"Excellent work Jessie and James her training will start immediately. Put a Team Rocket Uniform on her!" Giovanni cackled.
"Yes Sir!" Jessie, James and Meowth said as they measured Misty for a uniform.
"I don't believe it. These two colors are perfect for me red and white bring out my Blue eyes." Misty said.
Over the month that Misty was imprisoned...
Misty has gotten rid of the Ponytail and let her hair hang down. Her hair had now grown to a beautiful Mid-back Length. She also matured quite a bit she is no longer a Tomboy or as scrawny.
One year and eleven months later Misty was now 15 and completed her training.
Ash is also 15 after he gave up on trying to find Misty, he and Pikachu took a boat to the Whirl Islands. Ash did some intense training and even caught some fighting-type Pokemon. He decided to join Chuck's Gym as a trainer because he knew without Misty he would never get his Fifth Badge. The Pokemon that Ash caught were Poliwag which evolved into Poliwhirl and then Poliwrath. He also caught Machop and Machoke the Machop are now Machoke and Machoke is now Machamp. He was the first trainer in the Cianwood Gym and never lost. As for Brock he went back to Pewter to continue his quest to be a master Pokemon Breeder.
"Congratulations Misty, you are now a full-fledged Rocket Member. I hereby pair you with Jessie, James and Meowth you are in command because you have beaten Jessie and James so many times that you are in charge and Togepi is your mascot and Meowth is under your command." Giovanni said.
"Yes sir Giovanni sir. Jessie, James, Meowth to Cianwood City I want my revenge on that twerp Ash." Misty said.
Misty was unsure about this because she still had feelings for Ash, but an order is an order.
Ash has grown quite a bit in 2 years he is now taller than Misty by 2 Inches. He also no longer wears his hat and is living in Cianwood City with Pikachu he calls Professor Oak and his mother every day to check on Noctowl, Bayleef, Quilava as well as his other Pokemon.
"Good match young man. You put up a great fight. Keep training and eventually you will beat me and move on to the next trainer." Ash said. He and Pikachu then went home for the night. They also looked at the memories that him, Misty, Brock, Tracy, Pikachu and Togepi had.
"Oh Pikachu I miss Misty and Brock." Ash said.
"Pi Pikachu Pi Pikachu Pikachupi Pi? Pikachu asked.
"You're darn right I do!" Ash said. Ash and Pikachu then fell asleep on their respective beds.
The Next Morning...
"Hand over your Pokemon or else!" Misty said.
"Or else what?" everyone asked.
"Or else Prepare For Trouble." Misty and Jessie said.
"And make it Triple." James said.
"To protect the world from Devastation." Misty and Jessie said in unison.
"To unite all peoples within our nation." James said.
"To denounce the evils of truth and love." Misty and Jessie said but Misty didn't say it very enthusiastically for she still loved Ash.
"To extend our reach to the stars above." James said.
"Misty." Misty said.
"Jessie." Jessie said.
"James." James said.
"Team Rocket blast off at the speed of light." Misty and Jessie said.
"So surrender now or prepare to fight." James said.
"toge togeprii." Togepi said with a frown.
"Meowth dat's right." Meowth said.
"Go Staryu go Poliwrath." Misty said.
"Go Arbok go Wobbuffet." Jessie said.
"Go Wheezing Go Victreebel." James said.
"Go Meowth go Togepi." Misty, Jessie and James said in unison.
"Pika Pika Pikachu!" Pikachu said.
"Team Rocket not them again after two years. Come on Pikachu lets go." Ash said.
"Pika Pikapi."
"Team Rocket. You never give up do you hey who is the third human member of your group she is beautiful." Ash said while blushing.
Twerp hand over the Pikachu." Jessie said.
"Never." Ash said.
"I think we can convince him to come don't you agree ma'am?" James asked the Leader of their group.
"I believe we can here Pika Pal." Misty said.
"Pikachupi?" Pikachu asked.
"In the flesh." Misty said.
"Pikachu that isn't wait a minute that is Misty I would recognize her beautiful face anywhere." Ash said.
"So Ash you finally admit I am beautiful after about 6 years of knowing me?" Misty asked.
"I have always thought that." Ash said.
"Funny you sure didn't say that to me when we were traveling. It is too late Ash Ketchum I am a member of Team Rocket now." Misty said.
"Misty how could you put me through the trouble I have gone through thinking you were dead?" Ash asked.
"What do you mean you thought I was dead? Where's Brock?" Misty asked.
"Well after I told you to get lost I never saw you again. I thought you were dead. I was worried sick about you and then you go back on the promise we made right before we started off to Johto." Ash said.
"What promise was that huh Ash what?" Misty asked.
"The promise that we made that no matter what neither one of us would betray each other just because of a fight." Ash said.
"In other words Ash?" Misty asked.
"Neither one of us would join Team Rocket." Ash said.
"So what Ash." Misty said.
"You joined Team Rocket you traitor." Ash said.
"Well Ash Ketchum you broke my heart when you told me to get lost." Misty said.
"I did not mean it Misty I never wanted you to leave. Y-you made that decision on your own. I didn't make it for you. Then to go and join our arch enemies that is beyond betraying that is stupid." Ash said as his eyes started to tear up.
"What made you say those things?" Misty asked.
"You made me extremely mad when you said I got the Fog Badge out of pity and that I never would have done it without you cheering me on." Ash said as he continued crying.
"Calm down Ash. I didn't know how sensitive you were. One of those parts is true isn't it though." Misty said as she patted Ash's back.
"The second part is true. If it weren't for you and Brock cheering me on I would not have gotten that badge." Ash said.
"After I left you had Brock didn't you?" Misty asked.
"Yes I did but he never cheered as loud as you did, he was to busy going ga ga over Officer Jennies, Nurse Joys, as well as female gym leaders and Janette Fisher in the Fourth Round of the Indigo League." Ash said while drying his eyes.
"You mean that I was the one that helped you the most?" Misty asked.
"Misty aren't you supposed to snatch Pikachu?" Jessie asked.
"Oh yeah throw the rubber net and don't forget your rubber suits." Misty said.
"Why, Misty why are you stealing Pikachu?" Ash asked starting to cry again.
"It is Giovanni's orders." Misty said also tearing up.
"Misty that is even further beyond betrayal." Ash said as he continued crying.
"An order is an order Ash. If I don't carry it out I don't get paid." Misty said.
"Is getting paid worth losing the best friendship you ever had huh Mist?" Ash asked while trying to stop his tears.
'Mist he called me Mist. He hasn't called me that since he was preparing for the third round of the Indigo League.' Misty thought.
"I'm sorry Ashy but I am a Team Rocket Member now." Misty said.
'Ashy she has never called me Ashy before.' Ash thought.
"Misty I don't want to do this. I don't want to fight you so please give me Pikachu back." Ash pleaded.
"I'm sorry Ash but in order to get Pikachu back you have to fight me and I will win this time ha ha ha ha!" Misty cackled.
"I wouldn't bet on it Misty, you may have Pikachu but I have my other Pokemon as well." Ash said.
"Poliwrath return go Staryu." Misty said as she sent out the star.
"I guess you will never know how I really feel about you. Ivysaur, I choose you." Ash said.
"So Ash, your Bulbasaur evolved. Well that won't help you much Staryu Swift Attack." Misty said.
"Yep, Ivysaur dodge the attack with your vines and use Sunny Day followed by Solar Beam." Ash said as Ivysaur eliminated Staryu.
"Great job Staryu return. Ash you won again fair and square." Misty said.
"Thank you, Ivysaur use Razor Leaf to cut Pikachu free as well as Jessie's, James', and Meowth's Rubber suits." Ash said.
Ivysaur did so.
"Pikachu Thunder Attack Jessie, James and Meowth, but don't hurt Misty I need to talk to her." Ash said. Team Rocket was paralyzed so they couldn't blast off.
"Togepi use Ancient Power." Misty said. Togepi was about to, but then remembered the good times that he and his Mommy(Misty) had with his Daddy(Ash) so it didn't attack.
"Togepi why didn't you attack Ash and Pikachu?" Misty said peeved. "Toge Toge Togepriii." Togepi said as he shook his head no.
"Daddy why did Togepi call you Daddy Ash?" Misty asked.
"Very simple Misty, Togepi saw you first making you his Surrogate Mother. He then saw me second which makes him think that I am his surrogate Father." Ash said.
"Oh I see. Ash what did you want to talk to me about?" Misty asked.
"Oh I just wanted to apologize to you for saying get lost. I also wanted to make up." Ash said.
"I accept your apology Ash, but it is too late to make up." Misty said as she was about to turn to walk back to her team but Ash stopped her.
"Here Misty here is some Paralyze heal, give it to Jessie, James and Meowth and tell them to head back to their balloon." Ash said.
"Why Ash?" Misty asked.
"Because before we say goodbye to our relationship as friends and say hello to our relationship as enemies, I want to buy you dinner. For one last time." Ash said.
"Okay I will Ash." Misty said as she started toward her new Teammates. "Jessie, James, Meowth take some of this and go back to base in the balloon." Misty ordered.
"What about you?" James asked.
"I will catch up to you later, afterall I just caught a Pidgeot so I will be back to base shortly." Misty said as she turned around and headed back to Ash.
Ash and Misty went to the Pokemon Center for dinner. Nurse Joy was about to call Officer Jenny since Misty was a member of Team Rocket now and was on the Pokemon World's most wanted list, but Ash stopped her.
"Nurse Joy, Misty is not going to commit any crimes right now. We are just having dinner as friends." Ash said.
"Oh okay." Nurse Joy said as she hung up the phone before calling the Police.
"So Ash did you ever get your fifth badge?" Misty asked sitting across from him.
"No I didn't Misty. After you disappeared, I gave up my quest for the fifth Johto Badge." Ash said.
"Why?" Misty asked.
"Well because even if I would've won it just wouldn't be the same without you congartulating me. I can live without Brock congratulating me but it isn't worth even competing without you." Ash said.
"So what did you do?" Misty asked.
"Pikachu and I went to the Whirl Islands to train. I caught some fighting Pokemon. I have been keeping them in my team ever since. After a while, I joined Chuck's Gym as a trainer and that is where I have been ever since." Ash said.
"What about your dream to become a Pokemon Master Ash?" Misty asked.
"I put it on hold until I found you. Pokemon Mastery would not be the same without your best friend, Non-Pokemon. I was surprised when I found you and found out you were a Rocket now." Ash said.
"I joined Team Rocket to get revenge on you for breaking my heart. I was about to get it but I couldn't fight you, I purposely lost that match." Misty said with a smile.
"You mean I didn't really beat you Misty?" Ash asked.
"Jeez Ash I was just joking I fought my hardest. You were just better than me." Misty said as she smiled harder and blushed beet read.
"I-I could tell that you have improved when you battled me. You are an excellent trainer." Ash said blushing beet red.
"Ash your face is beet red." Misty pointed out.
"So is yours." Ash also pointed out.
"Well I guess I better get back to my team goodbye Ash." Misty said as she kissed Ash on the cheek.
"Misty please don't go back to Team Rocket it just doesn't suit you." Ash said blushing even redder while grabbing Misty's hand.
"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't Ash Ketchum. Give me just one you heartbreaking twerp." Misty said angrily as she looked at the hand that Ash was holding also blushing.
"I hope this is good enough for you Mist." Ash said as he wrapped his arms around Misty and passionately made-out with her.
"What was that for Ash Ketchum? Why did you kiss me passionately?" Misty asked.
"Three reasons, one I don't want to lose you again, two I Love You, and three as an apology." Ash said while blushing at the second reason he stated.
"Could you please repeat the second reason again Ashy?" Misty asked.
"Gladly Mist, I L-O-V-E Y-O-U, I LOVE YOU Mist, I seriously do." Ash said blushing even redder than before.
"Okay, Okay I get the idea I will turn in my resignation from Team Rocket to Giovanni tomorrow." Misty said.
"I'm glad Mist." Ash said.
"So am I Ashy. I never liked those three or Team Rocket anyway. I just did it to get back at you." Misty said.
"Now what do you think of me my beautiful Mist?" Ash asked.
"I Love You very much Ashy and have since we first met. I was just too afraid to say it so I hid it by fighting with you. In other words Ash I wasn't really fighting with you, I was flirting with you." Misty said as she blushed yet again.
"I also have loved you since we first met Mist. I was too afraid to tell you so I covered my feelings up by fighting with you. In other words Mist I never really was fighting with you, I was flirting with you." Ash said.
Ash and Misty stared into each other's eyes for the longest time. They eventually tilted their heads sideways brought their lips closer parted them and Passionately Frenched-Kiss each other.
"Together Forever right Mist?" Ash asked.
"Together forever Ashy." Misty responded.
The new couple got one room with two beds for the night. Misty was about to get into her bed, but Pikachu and Togepi have commondered the bed so Misty had to sleep in the same bed with Ash.(No Lemon intended this is only rated K+) Ash and Misty wound up sleeping on Ash's bed with their arms around each other.
The next morning...
Misty turned in her resignation to Giovanni.
Since Misty was such a good Team Rocket Member she got to keep her uniform.
Giovanni also let her take another uniform that was exactly like James' for Ash in case they ever wanted to trick Jessie and James as well as Meowth and other Team Rocket members into think that they were Teammates. Giovanni was glad to do that especially since he didn't really like Jessie, James, Meowth, Cassidy or Butch.
Ash also found out that Giovanni was his father surprisingly. He had divorced Delia because she didn't like the fact that he was leading a criminal gang.
After doing that stuff, Ash went into the Cianwood Gym again this time as a Challenger for the Storm Badge and he won against Chuck.
"Well Ash, I am glad to see that you finally got Misty back. No matter where your journey goes you will always be a member of the Cianwood Gym Trainers. Good Luck you two. One more thing Ash, you have earned this Storm Badge and this technique called Dynamic Punch. Teach it to a fighting Pokemon. Here is also one for you young lady." Chuck said as he finished talking to Ash and gave the Dynamic Punch technique to Misty as well.
"Thanks Chuck." Ash and Misty said in unison as they walked hand-in-hand out the Gym Doors. Ash did not do his victory pose this time because he was happy that he had won the badge and won Misty back from a life of crime and evil.
Ash and Misty continued their journey as a couple.
