The Hardest Thing to Say
Miss Apple Pie
Arya walked away, tears sprang in her eyes.
Why did she tell him no? She had feelings for him. She stared at him as he walked by. She dreamed of him at night. She wondered what it would be touch his lips with her own. She wrote poems about princess marrying the handsome knight with them as the characters in her head.
She had to tell him no, it was the best for him –for them. She knew she to old for him, she would get in the way of what needed to be done. They lives would be wonderful together, if they were simple peasants. There were both in difficult spots in the government to be filtering. People would use her to get to him or vise versa.
Her heart keeps screaming for Eragon, her mind tells her no way. It's like the devil and angel on your shoulders, it deciding which is the devil and angel.
For now she must say no- for now there love must only excites in poems and dreams. Maybe in the future they would love. Maybe they would move on and find new lovers to hold. She knelt down on the ground putting her head in her hands, crying for an image that was not real.
How can she cry so much for a man she never held? She wanted the pain in her heart to go away, she wanted to turn around and run into his arms reveling her love for him in the form of a kiss.
Sometimes the hardest thing is to say no- even if it is the right thing.
