A/N: Hey people! This is a new fiction I made during my spare time. See here: I based this on the novel The Clique. You know, the ongoing cliche that people should be stereotyped and classified into popular, jock, brainy, geek, etc. Hope you like it:)

Oh yeah, I’ll give credit to the movie First Day High. Well, I got the idea of a university where people dress in colors from that movie. Credits to them!

Clich University

Clich University is popular for one thing: its students dresses only in five main colors. They are purple, red, yellow, black, and blue.

The purple stands for the popular people. They’re often called sosy, high-class, elite, popular, and cool. They wear designer/signature clothes. They most likely have foreign or royal blood mixed in and they have large mansions. They came from elite private schools in Europe. They are classy and effortlessly gorgeous. They look like they couldn’t care less about what others think of them or the fact that everyone think they’re cool.

The red stands for the sports-loving guys & gals. Their life revolves on two things: their sport and their girls. They have competitive spirits and a chill personality. They are second in the popularity ladder, like the upper middle class. If it weren’t for their sport and team spirit, they must have been in the color blue as normal floaters. They are most likely jocks or cheerleaders. In summation, they are the sports-loving people and the sports-loving people’s “loved ones”. The stars of the team (the quarterbacks, the rookies, etc.) who are good enough for the Purple team ends up being guys of the Purple group.

The blue stands for the floaters. They are often just there because they study at the university. They are the “passers-by” or “crowd” of the two upper classes. They never stood out. They never rock the boat. They were simple clothing. Most blue girls are wannabes. They try wearing skimpy “expensive-looking” clothes to be “purple”, but they suck.

The yellow stands for the brainy geniuses of the school. They are considered outcasts since most of them don’t have any social life anymore. They have the same level of that of the blue. They spend most of their time: 1) watching Grey’s Anatomy, 2) reading comic books, 3) inventing some cloning machine or something scientifically whacked like that, 4) interaction via the internet.

The black stands for the rebellious artists. It’s either they write, they act, they play music, or they paint. The lowest class of all, they are the outcasts of the social ladder and they knew it. They are “different” but they were more likely seen as “odd”. They are always “misunderstood,” so they wear black and does body piercing, tattoos, hair-dye, thick eyeliners.

Tagline: Clich University. Do you belong?

Characters:

Katrina Erica Miller-van Walsum: The French/Chinese/American/British hottie is a practically perfect socialite. She reigns as the most popular girl in her old school aka the Queen Bee. With her perfectly glossy brunette hair, snowy white flawless skin, and aquamarine eyes, she has Daddy’s credit cards to buy her anything from Dior to Juicy to YSL. Don’t say whoa yet, this girl can kick butt with her best dance moves and tongue (she speaks in six different languages!). Who is to not be jealous of her? And now, swinging single (she broke up with quarterback boyfriend after graduation), she’s leaving Constance Billard High School (an elite school in England) entering Clich University, ready to make heads turn and boys say Ai, Mommy!

Aaron James Dy-Parks: The cool quarterback of Briarwood High School (private school in New York) is going out of his high school court/field. He’ll be playing ball in the Clich University soccer/basketball field now! His sense of style range from sporty to vintage classy. With his killer looks, he’s now saying bye-bye to his Rearwood High School fans and saying “hello” to the girls of Clich University! If he weren’t a basketball/soccer player, he would most likely be in Purple, nonetheless!

Patty Charlize Olsen-Moore: The preppy class valedictorian had brought home bunch of medals and ribbons every year for her academic standing. The Ponds High School (an academically enhanced school from an unknown state) genius can play the piano, whip up a sumptous meal and a formula to heal headache, and does computer programming. What can she not do? She’s pretty in a plain sort of way but will she fit in Clich University? If only she can make an abort-first-day machine! Will she gain friends?

Jorge Victor Moynahan-Mendes: The rebel hottie is finally out of the “prison” Zwitsal High School (a public school in New York; he could totally afford private--they’re RICH--but his parents did it as punishment for getting kicked out of school thrice). He’s off to college where he can finally unleash his innermost feelings. Anything can happen where self-expression is legal that is college. He can form a band. He can paint all day! He can write poetry. And he can finally get out of a school where self-obsessed model-looking posse, sports-obsessed jocks, moronic wannabes, timid sissies, and weird geeks dwell. Clich University is paradise, or is it?

More info:

Clich University is a known elite school, located in its own island near Malibu. It’s really near Malibu--only a boat ride/underwater subway/underwater high way away. It’s a boarding school, actually. Students are classified according to their social standing and they wear different colors to represent them.

BTW, Purple group only consists of girls of the Delta Nu sorority and the prep guys who are just like Sebastian Valmont from Cruel Intentiosn--you know, heirs of European priceless family fortunes who only play high-class sports like polo, golf, etc. The girls of Delta Nu either goes out with the prep guys, the stars of the Red group--those who are good enough to be at Purple if not for their sport, or the guys from outside the school.

A/N: So, what do you think? Should I continue it?

Warning: Some names (of bands, of people, or whatever) are used in this fanfiction that is factual in real life.
