Chapter 5: Turmoil

Sasuke’s blood was boiling with rage, his older bother was in front of him and in his arms was Neji, deep lost in an artificial sleep, Sasuke clutched his fists an his eyes turned into sharingan, Itachi’s expression did not changed.

“He is not yours, give him back” repeated Sasuke.

Itachi chuckled softly and looked over Neji, something caught his attention then, a black string on his neck, he kneeled slowly and not letting go of Neji’s back he used his other hand to take the black string, he narrowed his eyes at the Uchiha fan pendant.

“Your Uchiha necklace…” Itachi said softly, standing up with Neji still in his arms, Sasuke saw a smirk on his brother’s face “And you actually give it to the person you shouldn’t, how foolish of you, Sasuke”

“Shut up!”

Sasuke ran towards Itachi, who dodged his little brother’s attack, Kisame then interfere in the attack, Itachi passed Neji to the swordsman, and he backed off after got a firm grip of the Hyuuga.

“Neji!” Sasuke was about to run to Neji when Itachi stopped him, kicking him in the abdomen to send him to the ground.

“Not so fast, Otouto”

“Bastard…” Sasuke stood up and took a fighting stance, he ran towards Itachi who dodged him with no trouble, the older Uchiha then stared to punch and kick Sasuke, to finally send him against a tree.

Sasuke got up in clumsy moves and shaking a little, after getting a hold of himself he stared to charge a Chidori, Itachi saw this with a plain expression, while Kisame was watching the battle.

“Neji…is…mine” Sasuke said between his clutched teeth, Itachi narrowed his eyes and jumped, landing in front of Sasuke before he could react, taking the boy by the neck and pushing him against the tree.

“I’ll show you how wrong you are about that, foolish little brother” Itchi’s sharingan became the magenkyo, Sasuke fell in the effect of Tsukiyomi just like his last encounter.

But this time was different…

Sasuke was in a world of red, black and white, but he was not being tortured by the constant repetition of the massacre of his clan, he was in a room, he couldn’t move, and in front of him was Neji, looking younger than now and the Hyuuga was not alone, a younger version of Itachi was with him.

Itachi blindfolded the boy and smirked.

“What’s the meaning of this?” asked Sasuke, the shadow of his brother was behind him, smirking dangerously at the sigh of his brother’s disbelieve.

“Watch, Otouto, just watch… for the next 24 hours you are going to watch this…”

Younger Neji took his cloths off and Itachi was touching him, the Uchiha embraced the little boy, moving his hands all over the younger body.

Sasuke’s eyes got wide, his mouth was open, he was trembling, he wanted to run and take Neji away from Itachi, but he couldn’t move, Neji’s soft moans were like daggers all over him, killing him from inside out.

“Stop, stop this!” screamed Sasuke, but no one heard his voice. “STOP!!” but his words got missing in the darkness.

In the plain outside the Tsukiyomi, Itachi was smiling in satisfaction just by watching his brother’s tormented mind, he let go if him, Sasuke’s body collapsed onto the floor.

“Itachi, we have more company” Kisame was walking near him, the Uchiha took Neji in his arms again and saw the road, Kakashi and Gai arrived and immediately got into a fighting stance.

Both jounin saw that Sasuke was trapped in a psychological attack while Neji was unconscious in Itachi’s arms; the older Uchiha saw both of them with a bored expression.

“I do not have more time to lose, let’s go, Kisame”

“Yes”

“Stop right there and let go of my dear student!” said Gai, Itachi ignored him, Kakashi jumped and Gai fallowed him, but when they were about to reach Itachi, Kisame draw his sword and hit both of them.

Kisame went back to Itachi’s side and did a series of hand seals, moments latter both of them disappear in a cloud of smoke.

Kakashi got up and ran towards Sasuke, the boy was trembling, his fists were clenched, and his nails had made him bleed already.

“Those criminals took Neji” whispered Kakashi, he looked over his shoulder, Gai’s distress and rage were evident, after all one of his students had been just abducted, Kakashi shared the feeling.

When Gai gave the notice to the Hyuuga Family, Hinata nearly fainted, the girl’s hands were over his mouth and she was whispering words that made no sense to him, Hiashi asked for one of the maids to take her to her room, but two were necessary to drag the girl, since she did not move.

“Niisan, no, no, it can’t be true, Niisan, why Niisan?…” Hinata’s voice got less and less perceptible when she was taken into the house, Gai saw all this with sadness and even guilt, after all, his duty as sensei was to take care of his students.

Hiashi’s expression was of pure disbelieve and distress, the man tried to regain his composure and then looked at Gai again, he asked the same question that his daughter.

“Why Neji?” asked dryly, Gai shook his head.

“We don’t know, the only that could know something is Uchiha Sasuke and he is still in the hospital, tomorrow, if he wakes up, I’ll talk to him” Hiasha nodded and returned to the house.

Gai made his way to the Hokage office, where Tsunade was having a hard time, the woman was in her third bottle of sake and had destroyed to previous two in frustration. She had to send both Gai and Kakashi into a mission right away and now she had this problem, both Gai and Kakashi asked her what she was going to do or they will not leave. Short after Gai arrived, Kakashi joined them, since he was in the hospital with Sasuke.

The fifth Hokage sighed, she needed to send a party to rescue Neji before it was too late, but everything was so difficult at the moment, many of the jounin were injured because the attack of Orochimaru and all the AMBU were currently protecting Konoha in the defense lines.

Tsunade made a decision.

“Shikamaru, come in” said boy entered to the office, Shikamaru was the only one that became Chuunin that year thanks to his great strategies. Gai and Kakashi looked at him, the new chuunin sat besides them.

“As you had heard, Hyuuga Neji was abducted by Uchiha Itachi – or rather the Akatsuki, we are not sure – the reasons are unknown to us, the only witness we have is Uchiha Sauke, but he is under the effect of one of Itachi’s attacks and is currently at the hospital… his condition is… unknown”

“What do you mean by unknown, Godaime-sama?” asked Shikamaru, Tsunade sighed.

“We had to bound his wrist to the bed since he was delirious, throwing punches and hurting himself in the process, he had been screaming the words “Stop” and “Not again” over and over randomly, I gave him a sedative to let him sleep, hopefully in the morning he will be able to tell us something”

Tsunade observed the jounin in front of her, she wished they did not asked more about Sasuke’s condition, since she avoided that the Uchiha had also scream “Stop, Itachi don’t touch him!” several times and what shocked her the most was to hear Neji’s name in a soft whimper after a rather emotional scream of begging that to stop.

“Shikamaru, I want you to lead a squat to locate Neji” declared Tsunade, giving him the papers of the mission “And after that, send a message to get back up” she added, knowing that even if she trusted the genin, they were no mach for S-class criminals.

Shikamaru took the papers and while reading them was thinking of the persons he could ask to assist him in this mission, he did not dare to say it was too troublesome because the situation just did not feel like doing it, especially with Maito Gai, Neji’s sensei, there.

“I understand, Hokage-sama, I’ll reunite a group and be leaving as soon as possible” the chuunin stood up, getting out of the room.

Kakashi looked at Tsunade, the woman had her eyes closed, regained her composture, the copy ninja looked at Gai, who was waiting for an explination.

“The most important thing to do at the moment is to not lose track of those who took Neji, you know that those boys are not to be underestimate” she said.

“Yes Godaime-sama, but still…” Gai sighed

“I’m sorry, this is the only thing I can do for now”

Both jounin looked at each other and then at Tsunade, the painful silence in the room was consuming the three of them.

Outside, Shikamaru was walking down the halls and he chuckled softly “Neji could have chosen a better moment to be kidnapped, but no, it had to be now, were Konoha is a nice example to the definition of disaster”

“And you like to do this because?...” Neji asked not looking at Shikamaru, who was laying on the floor watching the clouds.

“It’s relaxing, try it” he answered, Neji sighed and went down next to him.

“Just watch the clouds?”

“Just watch the clouds” Shikamaru smiled, Neji blinked and looked at the sky.

Shikamaru narrowed his eyes and started to run, his expression had changed to reflect his concern.

“You better be safe, stupid genius…”

Neji opened his eyes slowly, his vision was blurry, he blinked several times in order to regain a clear view, he pushed himself of the ground, feeling very weak for some reason, the boy finally regain his vision, he was laying on a some kind of sleeping bag inside a tent, his hitai-ate was besides the mattresses, the boy was about to reach it when a voice was heard.

“Neji-kun” the boy frozen by hearing his name, he pushed himself a little more of the ground and saw that in the entrance of the tent was Itachi, sitting there making sure he did not went out of the spot.

“Itachi-san, what…how...” Neji was not sure of what to ask first, he sat up and clutched his head a little, he had headache.

The elder Uchiha crawler over him and sat in front of the smaller boy, he knew it was simply matter of time until Neji realize that he was not in Konoha anymore.

“I came back, as I said I would” Itachi said, his eyes were closed and his face showed no expression, Neji looked at him.

“As you said?...” the boy clutched his head again, he couldn’t remember Itachi saying something like that, his memory was still blurry and lost “I can’t… I don’t remember…” he whispered.

Itachi crawled to finally be behind the boy and embraced him softly, Neji’s eyes widened and by instinct pushed Itachi away, but since he was very week the Uchiha did not move.

“What are you doing!” the Hyuuga’s voice was filled with surprise; Itachi narrowed his eyes and hugged him closer, whispering in his ear.

“You don’t remember our last encounter, don’t you?” Itachi said this as a statement more than a question, Neji shook his head slowly.

The Hyuuga was not sure what was causing his internal turmoil, the fact that was in an unknown place with an S-class criminal or that he criminal in question was Itachi.

Said missing nin nuzzled his head in Neji’s neck and suddenly stopped, his eyes turned even darker, he took Neji by the shoulders and roughly turned him around to face him.

“You were with Sasuke…” he said dangerously, the Hyuuga tried to said something, his mouth opened a couple of times but no sound was made “You have his scent all over you…what else you two did?”

Neji did not answered, he tried once again to push Itachi just to end being slapped hard by the older Uchiha, Neji fell on the floor, he placed his right hand over his sore cheek and glared at Itachi.

“Answer me” Neji just send him an angry glare, Itachi was not patient and he showed it to Neji when he started to take the boy’s cloths off.

“Stop, stop it!”

“Shut up” Itachi ordered, glaring down the boy with his sharingan glowing in the dark, Neji held a gasp.

Itachi removed Neji’s shorts and boxers, just leaving him just with his white shirt, the Uchiha got the boy’s legs apart, Neji was trying to stop the older shinobi, Itachi put one hand over Neji’s chest and pushed the boy back on the floor and moved closer to him.

“Did he touch you?” Itachi was not making a question, moving his other hand across Neji’s inner thighs; he was teasing Neji with his question because the Uchiha already knew the answers “How many times?” Itachi smirked “He tried to claim you, but he does not know that you are already mine”

“What are you talking about? Both of you are insane! I’m not an obj—” Itachi slapped the boy again.

“Neji-kun…” whispered the older shinobi “Are in no position to arguing” Itachi leaned on top of him and spoke softly “I’m going to be more patient with you, Neji, since you don’t remember our agreement…” the older shinobi stared to kiss Neji’s neck while speaking “…But you will”

“Agreement?” Neji was just lost, the boy shivered when Itachi stared to caress his inner thighs again.

“My return triggered a part of your memory” the older shinobi’s hands moved to reach between the boy’s legs and kissed him in the lips lightly to later see the boy in the eye with his sharingan “Perhaps my touch will trigger another”

“Wha!—” Itachi silenced the boy by kissing him, soon he break the barrier of the boy’s lips to explore his mouth, Neji’s hands were against Itachi’s chest, trying to get the older shinobi off him but he stopped when said shinobi took his length in his hand. Taking the opportunity, Itachi grabbed Neji’s hands and using a piece of rope tied them together.

“Nothing yet?” he asked with amusement, Neji jus stared at him, panic rising inside of him. Itachi took Neji’s arms and moved them over his shoulders and because his wrists were bounded, his arms were now half-hanging from Itachi’s neck.

Itachi got up a little, making Neji rise in the process, and took his cloak off and then leaned again, kissing Neji, taking the young boy’s breath away. The older boy took Neji in his hand once again, stroking the boy with skilled touch. Neji suppressed a moan, while Itachi was using once hand to stroke him, the other was caressing his hair, the boy gasped, squeezing his eyes shut even more.

“You still don’t remember, Neji” Itachi was not making a question. The Uchiha stopped his ministration and lowered his hand, pushing two dry fingers inside the boy.

“Let…go…” Neji’s whispers were ignored as Itachi added a third finger, moving them in a scissor motion, the boy gritted his teeth.

Itachi clamed his lips again, moving his fingers in the smaller body while his other hand was taking down his pants, once he did it, he removed his fingers from the boy. Using both hands, Itachi moved the boy’s legs by his sides and slammed into him.

Neji cried out.

“Neji, look at me” he said to him, but Neji was too lost to hear him.

Itachi stared to move inside the boy, taking all the pleasure he could of feeling the smaller body contracting around him, the boy was trembling and clutching Itachi’s shirt and almost ripping it apart.

“It hurts…” whimpered the boy, Itachi kissed him lightly, and the boy opened his eyes to meet red sharingan.

“Relax…” Neji wanted to force himself to do it, having Itachi inside of him was more painful than his younger bother and because of the entire situation, he was having much troubles to relax as Itachi told him.

Itachi kept his steady and slow pace, enjoying himself every second, it had been a long time since he wished to have the boy under him like this, mentally thanking the dance of the leaves the made him took the decision of going back to Konoha, to take the object of his inspiration with him.

Neji felt his climax reach him and the boy came in Itachi’s hand, said shinobi thruster into the boy a couple of times after that and his climax reach him too, claming him as his own again.

The boy panted quietly against Itachi’s chest, he was shivering and moaned when the older shinobi pulled himself out of him, Neji wanted to move his arms from Itachi’s neck but the older ninja kept him in place.

“You are going to stay with me, Neji-kun” he whispered in the boy’s ear, Neji felt Itachi’s hands taking the Uchiha pendant off his neck and placing another necklace in it’s place, Neji’s eyes were closed, and he was too tired to open them.

Itachi took Neji’s arms from his neck and untied the rope, letting the boy’s arms by his side while admiring his own necklace around the boy’s neck, the silver ornament now in Neji’s neck reflected the pale little light that passed from the fire outside to the tent as the boy fell into unconsciousness, too tired, sore and hurt to keep his eyes open.

The older Uchiha looked at the pendant of his clan in his hand and tossed it outside the tent. Kisame was sitting by the fire, he saw the necklace land near him and smirked, gazing at the tent a couple of meters away from him.

‘Itachi got a new toy’ the taller shinobi chuckled to himself.

“Why Itachi-san, why!” the little boy cried, holding an unconscious Sasuke close to his chest, Itachi smirked.

“Because I was tired of my cage, Neji-kun” Itachi walked near the boy and kneeled besides him to caress his cheek, the little boy was crying without noticing, his eyes wide open.

“But...but…all of them… and Sasuke-kun” Neji hugged Sasuke tightly, fearing for him.

“He has to go too”

“No, no, please, he had never done anything to you, you toll me that!” the boy sobbed “Please…”

“Don’t beg, Neji-kun, it does not suit you” Neji’s eyes narrowed “Instead let’s make an agreement”

“Agreement?”

“That’s right, I didn’t plan it this way, but it should work the same…”

Neji looked at Sasuke, the boy’s tears had stained his face, he was cold and his arm was bleeding, the opal eyed boy looked at his mentor for a moment and slowly nodded “Very well, come with me then, I’ll give you the details, leave Sasuke there”

Neji placed Sasuke on the floor and got up, Itachi took his hand and stared to walk, the opal eyed boy saw over his shoulder at Sasuke until he could not see him anymore. Itachi lifted him of the ground and jumped into the dark night.

‘Sasuke-kun…’

Naruto was standing by Sasuke’s bed, he was waiting for the Uchiha to open his eyes, he was the only witness of Neji’s abduction, he was the only one that could give them a clue to star looking for his missing friend.

The blonde saw Hinata a few minutes after Shikamaru called him to the retrieve mission; she asked him just one thing…

“Please, help Neji-niisan”

Naruto knew that Hinata cared for his cousin a lot, he was, after all, like a brother to her and now that they were starting to get close again, loosing him was not an option, she wanted to help in the mission but Tsunade did not let her, his father asked her to let the squat go, and pray for their success, Hinata stayed silent for a long time and finally nodded, to then repeat her request to Naruto and walk away, Hiashi was about to fallow her but stopped and not looking at him he said:

“Hinata believes in you and I trust her judgment”

Naruto looked at the sky by the open window; he needed Sasuke to wake up, now. Just when Naruto was about to scream in frustration, Sasuke opened his eyes.

“Sasuke!” the blonde cried out, the Uchiha sat up, his face showed a pained expression “…I’m sorry about what happen to you, but we need your help, now”

The dark haired boy glared at his friend, Naruto was standing next to his bed and even whit Sasuke’s death glare, he kept his solemn face.

“We need to know why—”

“Itachi took Neji because I wasn’t strong enough to help him” Naruto sighed and rubbed his head.

“Shika, he’s awake now” said the boy out loud, the door opened and Shikamaru came in, Sasuke saw that in the hallway were Lee and Kiba.

“Sasuke, are you in condition to fight?” asked the chuunin, Sasuke got up from the bed, he was wearing a white hospital set of shirt and pants, he saw his normal cloths over a table and took them, heading into the bathroom.

“Yes” he said from the other room, Shikamaru looked at Naruto as asking the reason of Sasuke’s behavior, Naruto shook his head.

“I need you to be part of the squat, we have to find Neji” he informed, resting against the wall, Sasuke walked put of the room and nodded “Good, then we are going to report with Tsunade-sama before go” Shikamaru turned around to leave, Naruto fallowed him and closed behind Sasuke.

The younger Uchiha had the vision of Itachi and Neji in the Tsukiyomi plain deep burned in his head and every time he heard Neji’s cries and pained moans he felt like dying, he felt low, very low, because he realized something.

He did same to Neji.

Sasuke felt that he was just as wrong of even more than his brother, for been so blind and let his hate towards Itachi drive him to hurt someone that he cared for, Sasuke gritted his teeth, glaring at the floor while walking, his fist were clutched tightly, he looked at the horizon once the were out of the hospital.

‘Neji…’
