(Play Japanese version of Tamer’s Theme song)
(Note, story contains fact’s about the unfinished Digi-Modification, as it is a sequel, this is just a warning, I will not reveal anything supper important about Modification’s story line, but there are facts about some of the character’s they have not been revealed in modification. Their are no spoilers in it though.)
Takashi was home alone, he shook his head, “well, might as well try it out.” He muttered to himself. He got onto his computer and put in the disk, he then connected to the Internet and was Zoned out to another world.
He found himself standing in line with five kids standing in front of him, “what the heck?” He said confused, there was nothing about this in the manual when he read it.
“you’re confused?” A kid said standing next to him, their was something different about him though, the kid smiled, “I can see you’re really confused.”
Takashi nodded.
“well, I’m an admin player, we just set up this system of starting up and haven’t had enough time to update all the manual’s and cd’s, so I’m here to help you out.”
Takashi nodded, the player pointed to four different lines, “let’s see, that one on your far left is the Destined class, the other admin player’s will help you out their setting up one of the more powerful kinds Digimon for your self. Next to that is the Youngin Class, it’s popular with the people who know what their doing. I’m one myself, if you want to have a lot of fun, I would become a Youngin, but it’s your choice.”
The admin pointed to the next line, “that is Class Frontier. It’s fairly nice as you not only start at a level ahead of everyone else, but you also get a massive defense bonus. A lot people have been choosing that since you actually get to fight instead of just ordering your digimon around.”
Takashi shook his head, he had read all the stuff on the different classes and knew each one’s strength and weaknesses. He had also researched all the facts about every class and how they were doing so far.
The most powerful class was easily the destined, 5 of the top 10 people in this gamer were destined. Youngin’s came in next at 3 in the top ten and the Frontier class had only 2 in the top ten. The Youngin’s could also be argued as better since in the ranking’s it went.

It was really quite amazing, the Youngin’s were defiantly the best strategy class their was, but the person who was ranked first was unbelievably good at strategy. Even Takashi was impressed by him.
“Where’s the Tamer class?” Takashi asked the admin.
“You sure kid, nobody uses Tamer’s anymore, they just can’t keep up with the other classes.” The admin was surprised, of course their were a few who choose the Tamer class to prove that they rocked and could use the weakest to beat the best, but 98 of them ended up restarting the game. The highest ranked tamer was 78, not very impressive at all.
Takashi nodded, the admin pointed to a spot behind him, which was empty except for a gate, “just go through their and they’ll be somebody to set you up to be a Tamer. I’ll see you again when you decide to restart and choose another class.” The admin walked off, and Takashi headed off towards the Tamer’s portal.
The admin waiting was actually fairly surprised when somebody actually showed up for the Tamer’s class. He used to be really busy because everybody had wanted to use the cards and such, but almost everybody had ended up restarting as a different class later. “So, first thing’s first,” he tossed the new Tamer a magazine, “just choose what you want and it’ll appear on you, when you’re finished, just hand it back and I’ll give you your choices for digimon.”
Takashi nodded and knew exactly what he wanted, he went through the magazine and choose a most unusually outfit for himself, no armor whatsoever.
The admin was surprised at the kid’s choice of clothing, usually Tamer’s wanted a lot of arm armor and hand plating to protect themselves against attacks on those area’s as that’s where everybody attacked first. This kid wasn’t wearing anything like what a Tamer should where, he had on a Glacier blue T-shirt with a hood and snow white short’s coming down to his knees. He had to back pocket’s that were fairly easily accessible. The kid’s accessories? His shoes where a deep violet and seemed to have a glow about them, the only other thing’s he had where two sweatbands, one snow white, the other glacier blue. He also had a pair of ski goggles on his head.
“nice outfit,” he said, not being sarcastic, it was looked fairly nice, it was also very unique as anybody else would have some sort of basic armor, his clothes didn’t even allow him to get most kinds of armor. “although it isn’t the most practical of thing’s is.”
Takashi shrugged his shoulder’s , “you pre-choose it, didn’t you.” Takashi nodded, “well, I hope you know what you’re getting yourself into, here” he said as he tossed the kid another magazine, this time to choose which digimon he got.
Takashi handed the magazine back and shook his head, “I bought a element random pack.” He said.
“Really?” The admin was surprised, this kid knew what he was doing, and might actually be able to bring a little bit more honor to the name Tamers.
“Well, let me check, your number?” He asked.
“78-486-3874930-2836849-10097555937528-498058739584843-974488782224-65489875623-5938-147,” Takashi said without taking a breath.
“That’s pretty good,” The admin said as he let the number register, he handed the kid an egg. “you know, I have a feeling you might bring some honor back to the name Tamers.
Takashi bowed, “that’s a lot coming from one who was the only Tamer to make it too the top ten and hold the first place position for a full year.” Takashi grabbed his new D-Arc, stuck it in his pocket, grabbed his first pack of cards and started to walk out when then admin stopped him.
He tossed the kid a pack of cards, “They’re the same one’s I took first place with, use them wisely.” The kid nodded and teleported out, their were no more people applying for Tamer’s that day, or the next, or the next, until the Tamer’s class was officially closed due to lack of interest.
Takashi found himself in a square with lot’s of people around, some where trading items, some where talking about going to a dungeon, some were battling then and their, but mostly everybody was just doing their own thing. He looked around and saw exactly what he wanted. One of the advantages that had been added to Tamer’s to try and get more people to be them was that they gave you an extra fifty dollars, exactly the price to time warp an egg to it’s in-training form.
He got in line, their were two other people in front of him, one was getting his egg up to rookie as he had just lost and been reformatted, the other was getting a new digimon to have as a backup incase his ever did get reformatted.
Takashi got up to the counter and handed the owner fifty dollars and his egg, the owner looked at him astounded, “how in the digital plane did you get to be a gogglehead?”
Takashi shrugged, “it was in the accessories, besides, their just ski-goggles, not aviator goggles.”
“You definitely didn’t beat Takato, I would have heard about that, I also would have heard about somebody beating Tai, so either Takuya or Davis have been knocked off their throne again, not to surprising,” the owner said putting the egg in the time machine, not even hearing Takashi’s replies. “wow, this has got to be a first, a Tamer with goggles.”
Takashi shook his head well aware the man hadn’t heard a word he had said. The man looked at Takashi, “so, what’s your level, any way’s,” he asked, “never mind, I’ll just look it up.” His eyes widened. He turned and looked at Takashi, “Admin hold,” he said acidly.
Takashi eye’s widened, exactly what was he being charged for? Admins holds where only used when somebody was doing something very out of hand. “Why?” He asked surprised.
The man looked at him like he was an idiot, “you’re a freakin HACKer, I’ve already got security coming, so don’t try anything.”
“Well, can I at least get my egg back.” Takashi asked.
“This egg as of this moment no longer belongs to you, HACKer,” he spat out.
“What seems to be the problem here?” An admin asked coming up from behind Takashi,
“You know we don’t take kindly to Jokes Yule,” the man said seriously, “and saying a person’s a HACKer is a very bad Joke, what evidence do you have, this kid just started playing literally three minutes ago.”
“He already has Goggles and he’s only level one, I’ve checked his code source as well, he doesn’t come from any influential or rich family.” Yule told the man.
The man looked Takashi over, “how is it that you came to have these goggles, did you HACK them?”
Takashi shook his head, “they were an item only available to non-armored Tamers.”
The man looked at him curiously, then had a magazine transported to him, “can you tell me what page there on?”
“94”
The man looked, at the page, he was surprised the kid had noticed them, all it said was Ski-goggles, non-armored Tamers, in the far right corner of the page. He nodded and turned to Takashi, “you know, some programmers had placed those their just last week daring somebody to become a Tamer so they could be a gogglehead, but that’s not your reason for getting them, is it.”
Takashi shook his head, “the only other available thing that was limited to non-armored tamers was a watch, and I had already wanted the sweatbands over the watch.”
“you records clear, Yule, you may give the kid back his egg,” the admin said.
“umm, sir, that’s not the only reason I thought he was a HACKer, it’s about his egg sir, there’s two cores in it.”
“hmmm, interesting, I can see how that raised your eyebrow, but that egg was handed to hmm just a little while ago, it’s not one he found, so it would not have been HACKed. It’s just one of the programmer having some fun, their data is the same though, am I correct?” he asked.
Yule nodded.
“very well then, there is nothing against the rules with fighting a battle with two cores, and since their data is the same, it is legal.” He teleported a piece of parchment into his hand and started writing, when he was finished, he handed it to Takashi, “their you go. That piece of paper will clear up any confusion you have with somebody asking about you fighting with two digimon, good day to you.”
Takashi looked at Yule, who handed him his two in-training digimon, one was Bukamon, while the other was a Koromon. Both were fast asleep, he headed over to the nearest Café knowing that when these two woke up in five minutes they’d be really hungry. He set them down at an empty table and walked up to the counter, “give me two platter’s of seafood platter.”
The cashier took a look at the two digimon, “you sure? That’s pretty expensive, the shrimp platter would do just as well for Bukamon and Koromon like the meat platters better any way’s.”
Takashi handed over the money for two seafood platter’s. The cashier rolled her eyes, “whatever.” She reached down and grabbed two seafood platter’s and handed them to the kid.
Takashi took both platter’s back to his digimon and while waiting for them to wake up, went through his starter deck, there was no reason to go through the deck the man had given him, he could list off every one of those cards and all the advantages and disadvantages of each and every one.
The deck wasn’t to bad, smart of them to put in no cards a rookie couldn’t handle. He would need to make a little bit of money and go get a real deck though. He wasn’t just about to use the only deck to take first on some basic guys. His digimon woke up.
Takashi nodded, “why hello,” he said to them. They didn’t hear a word, they had both just started scarfing down their food. He looked at the mess they where making and left a 15 gold tip, that didn’t leave him with much, 70 for the food and another 15 for tips? 15 gold was all he had left. He pocketed the money, and started to walk out he saw a girl with a Rosemon next to her, she was talking to a boy with a Leomon beside him.
“you hear about the new dungeon, supposedly even the best of Adventures are having trouble with it.” The boy said.
“really?” the girl replied, “what do you think Rosemon, want to take a shot at it?”
The Rosemon shook its head, “not today, let me do a little research on it while you hang out with Flare, I’ll tell you what we need to have on our trip.”
The girl nodded, “that’s a good idea, you up for it Flare?”
“Sure, sound’s like fun, maybe we’ll even find some rare upgrades, they always load new dungeon’s with them.
Unknowest to Takashi, who had thought his two digimon would be following them, jumped up onto Flare’s back, “hey, you, how about we come two, we want to help and get rare upgrades,” the Koromon said.
Flare looked at the digimon weird, and at Takashi who had run back over hearing their voices. “I’m, sorry, I just started today, I didn’t realize they were that independent, please forgive me for my trespasses.” Takashi grabbed his digimon.
The girl got an idea, “hey, why don’t you come with us tomorrow, we could give you some of the items we find and you could get a lot of experience,”
Bukamon thought it was a great idea, “sure we’re in.”
Takashi was surprised, “backup here, since when did you become the Tamer, thank you for your offer, but I wouldn’t want to be a hindrance on you.”
Koromon was the one who spoke up this time, “What do you mean we’ll be a hindrance, we’ll probably save their buts so many times that they’ll be paying you for a bodyguard.
Flare laughed, “you know what, how about you do join us tomorrow, I don’t think you’ll hear the end of it tell you log off, so what do you say you go and train tonight, level them up to rookies and join us tomorrow, and we won’t take no for an answer.
Takashi looked at his digimon, which were pleading with their massive eyes, and shrugged his shoulders, “thank you, I will.” He said, “but I should be going, if I’m going to have some rookies by tomorrow, I need to get training.” Takashi walked to the middle of the courtyard and disappeared in the gate.
Flare looked at Risa, “well, he does look like he will try to help out tomorrow if he comes.”
Risa shrugged her shoulders, “who knows,” she paused for a second, “Hmm?”
“what up?” Flare asked.
“it’s a message from Bukamon,” Risa said curiously.
“Bukamon?” Flare raised his eyebrows.
“yeah, here, let me read it to you.
Dear Risa, and Flare if he hasn’t decided that Takashi wasn’t worth his time.” Flare was surprised, the digimon knew his name,
“Here’s are our member’s address,” She paused for a second reading over the rest of it, “it then gives three different ones, one for Bukamon, one for Koromon and one for Takashi.”
“What?” Flare said.
“yeah, here let me send you a copy.” She said. He waited, “huh?” Risa said surprised.
“what’s the matter, why haven’t you sent me a copy?” Flare asked.
“Because I can’t, hmm,” She looked at the letter again, “here, let me finish it for you.
“let’s see hope you guys don’t fail out on us, don’t judge Takashi to hard, he’s just had a few past problems. Have fun until tomorrow, Signed, soon to be Gomamon.” She looked at the letter perplexed, “what’s this, it’s an attachment.”
“An attachment?” Flare asked surprised.
“yeah, wow, It says, Dear Reader, this attachment prevents you from emailing this letter to anyone, and deletes the message fifteen minutes after you open it for the first time. Do not take this personal, it’s just a safety precaution. Sincerely Takashi’s Digimon.” She read over the letter.
“hmm, what do you say we go to file island peak?” Leomon said knowing they needed some time to think.
Flare nodded, “yeah it would be good to get some fresh air, or the closet thing you can get to it in a fake world.”
“Bukamon, Level up 3
Attack: 8, 10 in water
Defense: 6
Speed: 7, 10 in water
Strength: 9
Agility: 3
Bukamon Digivolve too Gomamon.”
Takashi looked at his new partner, Gomamon, he looked back at the stats, they were pretty high for being a level three, he shrugged his shoulders.
“Hey that’s unfair,” Koromon said, “why does Gomamon digivolve before me.”
“Well, let’s check who you can digivolve into,” Gomamon teleported a scroll into his hand, he unrolled it, “so let’s see, your level 4, so your not an Agumon, nor are you a toy Agumon, hmm,” Gomamon looked down the list, “let’s see, who do we have left for you to digivolve into, we’ve got a DarkAgumon, and a Betamon.”
“So either way I’m a virus, this sucks.” Koromon said pouting.
“Not really,” Takashi spoke up, “if you’re a Betamon, I can use water to my advantage a lot better then if you digivolved to an Agumon.”
Koromon thought about that, “all right, level me up, I want to be a Betamon.” Gomamon laughed at his twins enthusiasm, and noticed Takashi had put up a small title too. Had something happened to him?
Risa looked at her boyfriend, “you thinking about that kid as well.”
Flare nodded, “he seems almost like a HACKer, but a HACKer wouldn’t be so careless.”
Risa nodded looking over the edge of infinity mountain, she and Flare sat at the edge of it, “he’s not a HACKer, I’m trusting my instincts on that, but it’s weird.”
Flare nodded, “he’s a Tamer to add on top of it, do you think,” Flare shook his head, “no, that can’t be.”
“What?” Risa asked, “you can’t just leave me hanging like this, have some confidence Flare, you’re smarter then you give yourself credit for.”
Flare shook his head, “no I’m not. But that’s besides the point, do you think that somebody else, maybe?”
“Maybe what?”
“What if somebody else knew him well enough to HACK those things on and make them seem like flukes?” Flare said, he wasn’t confident on this at all.
Risa looked at Flare, “you mean, somebody setting him up?”
Flare shook his head, “No, not setting him up, I don’t know, we have so few facts and we just met this kid, why are we worrying about him anyways.”
Risa got up, “fine, if you’re not going to help, I’ll help him on my own.” She turned around.
“Risa.” Flare said quietly.
“Yes?”
“you have a gift to see thing’s about people, thing’s no one else would know. What about this kid, what did you see.”
“he’s lost, it’s the only way I can describe it, it’s like a part of his brain is lost, and this lost has caused a confusion within himself, so he takes everything somebody gives him, only if it’s bad though. You saw how hesitant he was today, his digimon practically had to force him to go.”
“yeah, what about his Digimon, you saw something about them too. Their weren’t made by the company were they, neither were they HACKed on.”
“I know, it’s almost as if their real. I …, I think they may have Takashi’s answer’s.”
“Risa, I know you’ve helped me out all this time, but I’m sorry, I don’t want to get into something else, I’ll go with you guys tomorrow, but don’t expect me to help you figure this kid out.” Flare still was sitting down looking over infinity ocean.
“I know, I’ve always known you Flare, instead of facing a problem… you run.” She walked out before he could say another word.
The next day at school Flare couldn’t find Risa anywhere, but he did hear some interesting rumor’s, 80 of which revolved around who he guessed to be Takashi.
“Did you hear, he’s got to digimon with him, both are legal too, he even has an admin signed paper to prove it.”
“Yeah, and I heard he had a Betamon and a Gomamon, nobody uses either of them, their evolution’s aren’t all that great and nobody ever agrees to do terrain battle’s anymore if their stronger then the other person.”
“Yeah, and that’s not even some of the most amazing things, not only does he already have goggles, but he’s also took on a Garurumon Level 14 and won. I checked his level’s when he logged out, both of his Digimon where at the same exact level of 7.”
“Wait, 7? That mean’s he gained twelve level’s in just 2 hour’s?”
“Wow, this kid is nut’s, you know he’s a Tamer?”
“What?”
Flare turned away, the bell had rung and he needed to get home. When he finally got their no one else was home. They weren’t supposed to meet for another hour, so he got out his math homework and started working.
Takashi got home about the same time Flare did. He went upstairs and flew his backpack onto his bed, man were those teacher’s ever annoying. “Creativity is not something that should be enjoyed, it’s something that is to simply be used.” He got so sick of that attitude, he laid down on his bed.
“Oww,” Takashi heard a voice yelp, “you mind I was sleeping.” Takashi turned around and to his disbelief, Betamon was sitting right their bed.
“What are you doing here!?” Takashi yelled.
“Yeesh, I’m right here, no need to yell. I just came because Risa said that she wanted to meet you early since she had soccer practice to go to after.” Betamon turned towards the computer, and in a flash was gone.
Takashi just stared, what the heck had just happen, did he really see his Digimon from the game speaking to him, in the real world? Dang, what did he eat today. He shook his head, if what Betamon, who shouldn’t have been their, said was true, he’d have an email. He checked it, and sure enough she wanted to meet him earlier.
He sat back in his chair, what the heck was going on, did he really see his digimon? And why where the twins so much more lifelike then the other digimon. The other digimon in the game gave suggestions and did certain things, or at least the more advanced one’s did. Numemon just kind of sat their and stared at you, but Betamon and Gomamon had their own personalities, not some computer programmed smartness. They were both lively and spoke with out him speaking to them. He could tell them things and they would just roll their eyes and do what they wanted. It was so odd.
Takashi put the thoughts out of his mind and logged on.
“Took you long enough,” he heard Betamon and Gomamon say as he appeared next to the gate. He just stared, usually you had to call you’re digimon, they didn’t just show up at the gate waiting for you.
The twins started walking off, “Come on.” Betamon said, “Risa’s not going to wait forever.”
Takashi nodded and walked forward, he had noticed the odd behavior again, like his digimon telling him what to do and not just giving a suggestion.
Risa saw the twins and Takashi walk up, “Hey,” She called with her hands up, she ran to Takashi.
“So, why’d you want me early.” Takashi asked.
“Hmm,” Risa thought for a second, quick before he realizes you just didn’t want Flare coming along, “well, I have Soccer practice later tonight, so I wanted to get this done early.”
“And Flare couldn’t come?” Gomamon asked, “does he have an after school activity he goes to.”
Risa shrugged her shoulders, and called her Biyomon next to her, “so, shall we go tackle that dungeon,” getting the topic off Flare.
They didn’t say a thing tell they got to the portal, when Risa couldn’t stand Takashi’s attitude. “you’re the one I met earlier today.”
Takashi nodded, “interesting that you didn’t use a screen name.”
“Well, neither did you,” Gomamon said walking behind them, “well that depends on how you look at it, if you’re going by your birth name, then you didn’t use a screen name, but if you’re going by your legal name, well, I guess you could call it a screen name.”
Risa stared at Gomamon, “How do you know that?” She hissed acidly.
Gomamon felt like an idiot, crap how could I have been so careless. But his eyes really opened wide at Takashi’ s next comment.
“yes, how did you know that.”
Betamon looked at Gomamon and he looked back, “you think,”
“But how, their would have to have been some sort of barrier, I mean,”
Gomamon’s eyes went even wider, “This world isn’t even connected regularly.”
Betamon started to understand, “you mean this Game caused a force connection.”
Gomamon nodded, then noticed the stare the Biyomon was giving them, “you’re here too.” He said with surprise.
Risa looked at the Biyomon, it didn’t reply but just stared burning a hole through the Gomamon.
“Somebody better start telling me what’s going on.” Takashi growled.
Risa nodded, “Who is your HACKer to create such personalized digimon, and have two cores off of the same data.”
Gomamon stared at her, “I am.”
Risa stared back, “Give me the truth, or I’ll send both of you to the faculty and let them have a look at you guys.”
Biyomon was the one who spoke up this time, “we need you both to log off and meet us at Takashi’s house.”
“So I wasn’t dreaming that Betamon was in my bedroom.”
Betamon shook his head, “we’ve got a lot to explain.”
Risa wasn’t buying this so easy, “prove that you “hacked yourself on.”
Gomamon sighed, “if you insist,” he changed Risa’s clothes right their and then, and switched her class, and took away all digimon except Biyomon on her roster. “I grant you the title of a temporary Tamer to Biyomon.”
Risa eyes went wide as she looked at her stats and checked out her new clothes. She had a purple pink bandana holding her hair back, she had yellow “jean” shorts that came down to just above her knee, they where held up by a gray belt that held a pack of cards in the back. She had a pure orange t-shirt with a hood as well. Her sweatbands were red.
“what, the, how, did,” Risa stumbled over her words.
“covered my tracks as well, as far as the system knows, you character was one that just hasn’t been used up tell now. Also all the old digimon you had and beat never existed.” The water mammal said.
“is that good enough for you two?” Biyomon asked.
They both nodded, Takashi gave Risa his address. They logged out and the three digimon Biomerged out of the computer. The first thing the twin’s asked was if there was any food while Biyomon muttered something about boys eating all the time. Then she tried pecking Betamon to death as he asked if she wasn’t hungry because she was trying to maintain her hot figure. For some odd reason, all of this seemed normal to Takashi.
Risa knocked on the door, half hoping all this had been a bad dream. Takashi opened it, “you took a while, having a hard trouble deciding if it was just a bad dream?”
“Tell me about it, I’m still not grasping any of this.” Risa said.
Takashi let her in, “I don’t know, it seems natural to me.”
Risa raised her eyebrows as she noticed the clothes he was wearing, “tell me you were wearing that when you logged on.”
Takashi raised his eyebrows and looked down… his eyes widened, “I’m wearing the clothes from the game.” He looked at her, “as well as you.”
“I thought about getting something else on, but I just felt comfortable in these clothes.” Takashi nodded, he felt the same way about his clothes.
They walked in, only to see the digimon conversing with themselves. Gomamon looked at them, “you guys better take a seat, this may take a while to explain.”
Takashi and Risa sat down on the same couch. Gomamon stared at them, “theirs a lot to explain, so well try to cover everything, but please bear with us.”
He looked at the other two, “Takashi, he’s not from this world, none of us are.”
Takashi looked at him in surprise, “if I’m not from here, then were did I come from.”
Betamon spoke up this time, “the world of the Tamers, you Digi-world game is actually based of a real thing. There are four dimension’s directly linked to each other, all connected by a digital worlds linked together. Takashi and us are from one of those linked worlds.”
“So the game is based off of something that real that no one knows about?” Risa asked in surprise.
“yes, but there is something strange.” Biyomon told them.
“There is,” Gomamon affirmed, “the other four digital worlds are all connected by a common server, or they used to be, now theirs multiple different links, but they are still connected through ENIAC. This world doesn’t have that link, so it would have been impossible to come here.”
“yet we did.” Takashi said, “I’m a real tamer aren’t I, and these clothes, their the same one’s I used to wear when I was back in the other world. So how where we able to come here, I mean, what kind of power could send us to a world that doesn’t even have a link.”
Gomamon nodded, “it was a lot of power, but I think, that The Digital World was actually enough of a link to be able to have that much power rip a gate for it.”
Takashi nodded, “what about my medical problem, what about that.”
“Medical problem?” Risa asked.
Gomamon nodded, “Takashi’s medical problem, his core body temperature is lower then the average human, it makes him be able to stand cold easier and has trouble dealing with heat. It also allows him to freeze the moisture around him.”
“So he can make ice in the air.” Risa asked.
Takashi stared at her, and an ice cube formed in front of her nose, “answer your question.”
Risa freaked, she bolted from the couch and stood up, “ I … I … I can’t take this anymore.” She was surprised as a talon gently stroked her hair.
“it’s alright, we know what you’re going through.” Biyomon said to her.
“what?” Risa said as she looked into the eyes of Biyomon.
“I’ve lost my partner 3 times now, I swear Risa, with all of my soul, I will protect you no matter what comes you’re way.”
Risa stared into the eyes of the Pink Digimon, she grabbed her in a hug, “thank you Biyomon, thank you.”
Risa wiped away the tears from her eyes and sat down.
“What happened right before you guys came here, I mean, what caused the portal to rip open.” She asked.
“you grasp our situation so quickly.” They both nodded.
Gomamon was surprised, “maybe I won’t need to go into as many details as I thought right now.”
Takashi nodded, “ I don’t need to know about my past, I need to know why that barrier was their that destroyed my memories and how to get back.”
Betamon nodded, “the kind of power we need, let’s see, what was everything we had before the portal opened.”
“A few things,” Biyomon spoke up, “there was my Phoenix rebirth attack I was using at the time.”
“Right,” Gomamon said, “and our enemy(the big boss, I would give away the end of Modification if I told you who it was) had his self destruct mode going at the time. However I believe we can find a substitute for his attack.
“And Takashi and Amber’s abilities.” Betamon told them, his eyes widened, “AMBER, we completely forgot about her.”
Gomamon nodded, “that’s not even the worse of our problems, Takato and Rika and Kari we’re all they’re as well. Where are we ever going to get a substitute for that kind of power, cause I know for a fact they didn’t arrive here, I would have felt their presences disturb the net somehow.”
Takashi looked at his new friends, 3 actually real live digimon, and Risa. They were the only friends he had ever known. “Well, we’ll take care of what we can now. Do you know if Amber is also in this world?”
Gomamon nodded, “she should be, she was also sucked into the gate.”
“So are first job is to find Amber,” Risa asked. The twins nodded, “then what are we waiting for.”
Takashi and Risa had looked around the next day after school on the net for Amber, they didn’t have any luck. They stood at the logout gate.
“Search again tomorrow?” Risa asked.
Takashi nodded, “see you later,” he logged out, or at least tried to. “what the?”
Risa looked at him weird, “is something the matter Takashi?”
“I can’t log out.” He said surprised.
“Gomamon.” Biyomon said, “can’t you cut it with the pranks.”
“Come on, let’s just call him Tsukasa,” Gomamon pleaded.
Betamon spoke up, “Tsukasa was a girl in real life,” Gomamon looked at Takashi.
“oh, well in that case, I’ll just undo the virus and let him log out, I still think we should keep him here and call him Tsukasa.”
Everyone laughed.
So, how’d you like it, Hmm?
Betamon: well, I can’t believe you started on the second half of the story before you were even close to finishing the first.
Gomamon: yeah, this takes time away from Digi-Modification, don’t you think you should finish the first part before you begin on the sequel?
Ehh, well I guess you guys are right, so I’ll be working a lot more on Digi-Modification then .HACK//Tamers, unless I get a massive amount of reviews saying that they want me to work on this one more, but I doubt it.
Betamon: hey, can you believe it?
Gomamon: yeah, I know, it almost goes against the rules of nature.
Betamon: F.t actually didn’t Frontier a chapter. THE WORLD’S GOING TO END, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
F.t: Ow, my ears.
Gomamon: that was a freakishly long scream. How do you have that much air.
Betamon: it’s all in the head, it’s all in the head.
