Sakura shivered under her Sensei’s gaze, and she wondered if he could sense her feelings toward him. It made her blush uncontrollably, the thought of her and him together. But he was older than her, and a Jounin, no way would he even consider being with a younger Genin….

So she sat on her bench, shivering, more so from her emotions than the nippy weather, and tried to focus her thoughts on her true love, Sasuke. But it was to no avail, her thoughts still wandered to the mysterious man known as Kakashi, who was older, and quite muscular for his lean build, and made her wonder how he appeared without all his ninja gear…

Ah! Sakura, get your mind out of the gutter, Cha! The pink haired girl thought, shaking her head furiously. Groaning, she placed her head in her hands, and in the midst of all her confusion, felt utterly lost and hopeless. She was a sorry ninja, and was torn between her crush on her Sensei and her dear Sasuke, who shuddered at her very presence. What to do…

“Are you feeling alright, Sakura?” She jerked her head up, and felt her cheeks ablaze, staring right into the face of Kakashi. He moved to sit next to her on the creaky bench, crossing his arms, observing her with one curious eye. Sakura turned swiftly to her left, making him scoot away slightly. “I’m feeling fine, Kakashi-sensei! Just a little lost in love…”

Her face grew unbearably hot as she realized what she had said. She jumped around, facing a very shocked looking Sensei, for once, and stammered. “Not that it matters! About Sasuke, I mean!”

The silver haired man observed her for a minute, then cocked his head and mumbled as softly as the wind’s breeze, “Are you thinking about me….?”

He could read minds, dammit! The poor girl nearly lost it, jumping up from the bench, clenching her fists. “No, you don’t mean no-nothing at all to me!” She hollered. And she hollered it quite loud. The man rested his head on his fist, and if Sakura wasn’t such a reasonable girl, she could’ve sworn a glint of hurt flashed in his eye. He muttered in his soft voice, “Ouch, my pride…”

She out her hands up to her mouth, gasping. “S-Sensei! Ah, that’s not what I meant!” She looked down, truly feeling lost. “I didn’t mean that…Kakashi-sensei, yes, I was….thinking about you. But I’m not sure if a Genin like myself should be.” Her green eyes drifted down to him, and she waited politely for an answer.

The man still kept his usual look, only grunting as he stood up from the creaky bench. He stuck his hands in his pockets as he trudged away, slowly and silently saying to her, “You’re a very nice girl, Sakura, maybe, just maybe, it might happen.” Sakura’s breath hitched and she felt like fainting from surprise. What??

When the man was halfway down the road, he turned his head and yelled laughingly, “Although I was just joking about you thinking about me before!”

And the pink haired girl really did faint.

OoOoOoOoOoOo

A/N: Yeah, this is my first ever Naruto fic, ‘cause I’m new to the show. I’ve only seen the first eleven episodes, so sorry if anything’s wrong or out of place, but reviews would help on my first try!
