Prolouge

"The Will of The Crown"

"I'm not afraid of you."

A boy, clad in red cargo pants and a black tanktop readied his weapon, as he stared down the monstrous being in front of him. It stared back, with it's gaze piercing through the little boy. Showing no mercy.

"I didn't expect you to."

The gigantic monster rushed forward with an speed unexpected of it's girth. His entire body glowed red with heat. The boy, not even trying to dodge, held up both of his hands.

"Impossible!"

The boy had stopped his assault with both of his hands, using unbelievable strength, he lifted the monster with his small arms and threw it through the length of the room. It smashed through a pillar and shattered the huge stone throne he supposedly sat on. Within seconds, the wrecked decorations were rebuilt.

"NOW!" The boy yelled while dodging to the side, a yellow red blur dashed out behind him and shot a barrage of machinegun shots at the downed beast. Blood splattered all over the dulled stone walls and floor. He slumped down on the ground. Unmoving. The two walked over, towards the fallen giant. The blond haired girl kicked the monster's leg.

She turned back and told the boy "Dead as a doornail." she looked back at the monster one more time. "Looks like this mission is complete, lets go." She turned to walk away, towards the throne room's main doors.

"Hold on." The boy called back. "We forgot something." He gestured to the box-like helmet on the monster's head, it's eye was swiveling around them, as if looking for something. The blond girl looked back, and said, in a bored voice.

"You clean up the mess, i'll be waiting outside." She waved an airy hand at him. "This place gives me the creeps." Her companion sighed, then nodded. "Fine. Fine. I'll destroy the crown."

The eye stared madly at the boy, as soon as he stated the words. The pupil dilated and started to spin. The boy took out his combat knife.

"I hope one thrust is enough..." He stabbed the eye with all the force he can muster. It pierced through the entire crown and through the other side. The eye froze in motion, as if it was dead. "Wow, I didn't think it would be this fragile.." He retrieved his blade and followed his companion. Behind his back, the stabbed eye looked frozen in motion. Then, slowly, it started to heal the stab wound. The entire helmet lifted up, bringing the dead carcass with it, back onto the throne. Where the body assumed a position like a monarch.

"Ho-o-ol-ld I-i-i-t..." A raspy, almost unhearable, voice rang out. "Ho-o-o-o--l--l-ld I-I-I-I-T-T" Both of them looked back in surprise. The carcass lifted his dead arm, and pointed at them.

"Yo-u-uuu th-iiiiin-k yo-uuuu go-o-o-t riiiiiiiiii-d o-o-o-o-ffff M-EEEEEEEEEEEE?" The final note generated shudders in both robot's bodies. The crown's eye stared at them. The body tiled it's dead, bloodstrewn head at them. "I-i-i...Caaaa-n...nee-e-e-e...veeeeeerrrr DIIIIIIIE!"

The body lifted itself up, but instead of standing on it's feet, it was floating, like a rag doll. "T-t-t-theee...wi-i-i-l..l... of-f...Baaaaaa-..." The voice stopped, and suddenly, the body rushed forwards with an speed, uncharacteristically of an corpse.

Both of them dodged the surprise charge. And quickly took out their weapons. The boy, a pistol, the girl, a machinegun.

"WHATS GOING ON? Didn't we KILL that thing?" The girl exclaimed. The boy stared intently at the crown's eye, which was staring back. "It must be the magic of that crown." The girl fired a barrage of bullets at the body, all hit, but had no effect, except damaging the destroyed body further. "I thought you destroyed it!"

They dodged another ramming attack. The boy fired a few shots at the helmet. "I dont believe it's possible to destroy it." The shots bounced off it like they were rubber balls. "It must have something rebuilding it every time. Like this throne room." He threw a piece of rock at the crown to distract it. It rushed over to him, fist out, and caught him in the chest. "Ooof!" The boy slouched a bit, and the monster looked down at him

The girl, taking this chance, fired another barrage of bullets at the being, this time, aiming for the crown. "Take this! You damned monster!" She punched the crown, as it tried to crush her in the walls. "How's that for show? There's plenty mor-AIEEEEEEEEEE!"

The piercing scream rang out through the room. The crown had engulfed the girl in a red bubble of electricity.

"Curly!" The boy lunged over in a full body tackle. He hit the carcass and both of them tumbled onto a wall. The red bubble encasing Curly dissapated, dropping it's hostage on the ground. The boy rushed over and checked her vitals. "Severe damage to torso, both arms and legs." He stared at his partner, and then looked at the monster standing over the both of them. A read gleam shone in both of his eyes.

"I guess this mission wasn't complete."

He was encovered in an red bubble like his partner.

He lost conciousness after that.
