It was dark...

It was late...

Hardly anyone was around...

Except for...

... Danny was in a frenzy, battling his way through ghosts, firing off his ecto-ray everywhere. He would never stop for anything, not until he reached his goal. His eyes were locked fast on his mark, a limp figure in an alleyway. Seconds passed, though to Danny, it felt like ages...

Finally, he was there! Danny rushed over to his precious bundle...

He turned her over...

Was she alive? Was she okay?...

Tears filled the halfa's eyes...

They spilled onto the girl's cheeks...

But...

They were tears of happiness, not sadness...

She was safe! The girl slowly opened her amethyst-colored eyes. She blinked, and focused on Danny. She smiled...

And she said...

"Thank you..."
