A/N Nerwen Aldarion: Last year we came up with Elizabeth Weir's Twelve Days of Christmas so per tradition we cooked up this little thing, it took a loooong time especially rhyming so I hope you enjoy. Warning it gets a little weird
A/N Tinuviel Undomiel: If you want to read Elizabeth Weir's Twelve Days of Christmas, it's on my name. Anyways, this is a cute little poem I think all of you will laugh and enjoy.
Not a creature was stirring not even Lt. Chase
The stockings were hung in the gateroom with care
In hopes that the Daedelus would soon be there
As visions of Carter danced in his head
Liz in her t-shirt and I in my Kevlar vest
Were about to settle down for a much needed rest
We sprang from our beds to see what was the matter
Away to the Control Room we flew like a flash
Tripped over a console and made everything crash
Gave a ghostly appearance to the whales aglow
When what to my wandering eyes should show up
But a Puddle Jumper and eight tiny pups
I knew in a moment it was Lucius Lavin
More rapid than turtles his puppy dogs came
And he whistled and shouted and called them by name
On Sheppard on Zelanka, on Marcus and Ronon
To the top of the tower to the top of the pier
Dash away dash away dash away here”
With little yips and yaps and puppy dog pouts
So all through the gateroom they scrambled around
With Lucius in the middle laughing abound
He showed what he brought for us to see
He stuffed them to the brim with the herb and gourds
The puppies mulled around looking bored
With a smile and a wink he turned from me
The gate opened up with a watery gaze
And he left us with an exuberant wave
And looked about me to see it was all just a dream
Elizabeth laughed when I told her the tale
Then begged for all the gory details
Of course they began to pester and tease me
What can I say when you dream such a sight?
But Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night
