He Needs Her

John doesn’t know what’s wrong. Ever since that day at Alkali Lake, ever since he left her he’s felt like crap. He remembers that day as if it was happening now.

Flash Back

One final click and John stood, he walked over to the controls and opened the ramp.

“John where are you going”? Rogue asked.

“I’m sick of this kids table shit, I’m going in there”. He said putting on his jacket.

“John they told us to stay here”. Rogue said, John stopped and smirked.

“Do you always do what you’re told”? He asked, when Rogue didn’t say anything he started to walk.

“John wait”. Chantel said, he stopped.

“I’m coming with you”. She said putting on her coat, He smiled and together they walked out the jet. After almost being killed by some sort of humming, John and Chantel stood on a cliff watching Magneto fly away. But when he came back down and John got on, Chantel however was hesitant.

“Come with me”. He whispered, Chantel shook her head.

“Pyro this isn’t right for me”. Chantel said.

“My dear, you’re powerful beyond comprehension, so if you chose to come today or one day in the future the spot will always be open, you have my word”. Magneto said.

“Thank you”. Chantel said, before Magneto could say anything Pyro kissed Chantel. The kiss was hard but passionate letting Chantel know he would always love her

End of Flashback

Pyro looked up in the sky wondering what she was doing at this very moment. Truth be told Chantel was thinking about Pyro and as she remembered the kiss and watching him fly away a single tear rolled down her cheek.
